I was so excited to get my Hoka's, I had heard so many wonderful things about them. I need a great pair of walking shoes for an upcoming trip to Italy where I will be doing a significant amount of walking. So, I wanted to see how they would feel after a long day of walking before the big trip. I had them on for about 3 hours when the arch of my foot began aching. I couldn't wait to get home and take them off! This happened with all 3 pairs that I tried. I do not have an arch problem, I actually have a good arch, but these caused me a lot of discomfort. My husband LOVES his Hoka's, I'm really disappointed that they didn't work for me.

I work on my feet for about six-eight hours in these shoes. i had an older version of the clifton's and bought these about a week ago. they are very nice, i wish they were a little bit more plush. although that might be because these are orthopedic. I bought these more so for preventative measures as I'm in my early 20s. still i would always recommend buying these! they have a bit of that swoop factor in the bottom like shape ups but not so intense . i have narrow feet, and usually go for 7-71/2 shoe size

I wear these most days as a teacher. It feels like I'm walking on a cloud. They are lightweight and super supportive. The toe area has lots of space.

I use these sneakers for all my group fitness classes. They are great for typical high and low intensity, step class, weight lifting, but for anything that requires side to side or lots of lateral movement, I find these do not work. I wore them once to zumba and they really don't give a lot of lateral flow, so better to stick with regular sneakers. I also wear these for long days on my feet (for example, a day out with the kids at an amusement park). While I can't say my feet feel great, they hurt a LOT less than they would in regular sneakers or walking shoes. Definitely worth a try!

I ordered these online after reading the reviews and article on how they were designed. I have to say they are the most comfortable shoes. I thought Asics were the best but I found my new favorite pair. Also I visited my brother recently and he just bought a pair and echoed my same sentiments. Good job!

I have a slightly torn tendon on my right foot. Needed a shoe that would give me the support for that foot. The Clifton 9 is that shoe. They are slightly stiffer than regular athletic shoes and took a little adjusting to my foot. Now I love them and need to purchase another pair so I can change out.

More comfortable and more back support than Clifton 8. Love the mauve color.

These are my all-time favorite walking, running and training shoes. I have some foot issues, and the padding and support in these shoes seriously prevent those issues from consistently acting up. Highly recommend!

So comfortable and at the same time supports my walking.

I use these shoes everyday. They are also great for working out and running. They reduce the hard impact on my heels and shins. Love them.

Always happy with my Hokas

I ordered a pair of Clifton 9's in a 10, which were too small. I exchanged for a larger since in a different color (the one I wanted was out of stock, sniff). It's been over a week since my returned packaged was received and radio silence. I expected better service.

i purchased my first pair of Hoka Clifton's a few years ago and now own several pairs. I have bad knees and never realized how the right pair of sneakers can really make knee issues less painful. these sneakers have great cushioning and support. The new colors added each season are designed for style. I will not try other brands as a result.

Walked around in them for hours at the airport a few days after buying and my feet were comfortable the whole time. Would highly recommend these for anyone that walks around a lot. Very comfy

I wanted to give the Clifton another try, and decided not to size up this time. Even though they fit my normal size, I would say if you want toe room size up. It pinched my big toes/foot on the bottom in an uncomfortable way.

I am a long-time Hoka fan and have put literally thousands of miles on Hoka Clifton's 6, 7, and 8s. These are the most disappointing version of the Clifton's ever. The toe box is so narrow compared to the previous versions and the support around the heel feels so minimal. I tried going a half size up to see if it would give my toes more room but it just caused my heel to slip out even more. The material seemed to wear down a lot quicker as well particularly around the heel and sole. I do not recommend.
