Got the Clifton style with high recommendations from many. Although they were well cushioned and seemed comfortable for the first hour or so, I began to feel discomfort at the medial arch after a while. Because my feet are flat and I have never had a problem with this, I found the arch build up in the insole causing progressive discomfort. I cannot wear my new Hoka Clifton sneakers for more than an hour or two. I am still looking for flat cushioned insoles to replace the original insoles.

I got the sand/eggnog color and it is WAY lighter in person. I thought they accidentally sent me one of the white colors at first. Sucks because now I have to be more worried about keeping them clean. Why make them so light when there are two other white options? I would just buy a different shoe but so much of their stock is out and I need a pair of shoes :(

I had a pair of the Clifton 8s that I loved, but they were a little big, so I went down half a size for the 9s. They're okay for walking, but too small for running; also, they come up too high on my inner ankle and put uncomfortable pressure on the bone and seem overly soft, as I am getting lower-back pain now when I wear them. Sadly, by the time I figured all this out, they had too much wear on them to return.

My podiatrist recommended Hoka for the rocker sole. I bought my first pair and was hooked. My most recent is my sixth pair of Hoka One One Clifton. I've gotten all my previous pairs at Dick's Sporting goods. They all fit great right out the box and were so comfortable I didn't even need to break them in. I wear a 9-1/2 wide. My most recent pair doesn't fit as well as my previous pairs. They feel "big" compared to my others. I will still buy again, but this recent pair isn't up to par.

I love the colors, the style was very nice too. I purchased these for running, I knew after a mile they wouldn't work. The pain was too much. Unfortunately I had to return them.

The shoe feels great but unfortunately the tongues are uncomfortable. On one side I had skin rub off.

I have narrow feet and this shoe was too wide for me. I also felt base was very hard, like walking on rocks.

These shoes offer a lot of cushion and turned out great for walking. Personally, I was not able to use them for running because they were very painful to run in. My local shoe expert suggested that it was probably due to the low drop of the shoe. Overall, I would walk in these shoes but would not recommend them for running if you are sensitive to changes in drop.

Clifton will be better if it has more cushion.

Very comfortable, roomy and a great cushioned walk for my all day on my feet job. However, I need to be aware of my weight distribution (140 lbs female) because tilting a little forward will roll my feet and cause me to catch myself. Backward as well, but less often. As long as I stay aware, they are otherwise great shoes.

The part by the ankles dig in and hurt and the sides start to hurt after a while of wearing. I'm not sold on the HOKA trend. Also the heel slips out but the size down is too small

Unfortunately, I was not impressed with comfort for the price. Granted, I only had them on for about 1/2 hr in my home yet, based on so many positive reviews about these Hoka's I thought I would 'feel' the difference right away. I also went down 1/2 size based on reviews as running larger.
My Asics walking shoe is Much More comfortable. Sorry

The only issue was not enough support the length of the shoe; the heel gave in; too soft. Not ideal for walking. Otherwise, it was comfortable & very light weight.

I feel like my foot moves forward in the Clifton 9. I have bad feet and the 8's always felt comfortable.

Very light and comfortable but for walking not for running as advertised. Too wide if you have a narrower feet.

It felt like my heel was going to fall back off something, like a miniature cliff, as if a part of the shoe was misaligned. Like a ridge pressing on the very back of my heels. They felt fine size-wise everywhere else. The fabric/material was nice.

I was really excited to get these shoes after doing a bunch of research and watching videos. I primarily used them for walking and light jogging on sidewalks/pavement. After day 2 of walking in them I developed a small blister under the callous on the outside of my big toe. It took about a week for my feet and body to adjust to the rocker bottom but they don't seem to be shoes that you can wear all day or just around the house. They're not very stable when just standing. I do like the construct of the bottom when walking or jogging. I do have to say that after my body adjusted to the shoes that I did not feel fatigue in my legs or knees but still have some fatigue in my feet. I've put about 65 miles on them so far.

For me, I didn’t feel like there was much heel support, and the inside of the arch was not comfortable.

This is my third pair of Hoka Clifton shoes. Unfortunately, these are not anywhere as comfortable as my last 2 pairs.

Heel cups caused discomfort…like having a sock bunched up in your shoe.
