I bought these to help with my bunion pain. My bunion pain is less, but I have pain on the top of my foot from wearing these shoes. I've loosened them as much as I can loosen them and I don't even tie the laces. And they are still a bit too snug on top. They do give great support though, and as I said the pain from my bunions has decreased. I'm torn on whether I would buy them again, maybe I would try a different model.

This would be a great shoe if the arch support wasn’t so hard. I can only wear these shoes for 10-15 minutes before my feet start to hurt. Bummer! Unfortunately, will need to return these.

The left shoe had place that rubbed the right top part of my foot. Otherwise a good shoe.

After seeing reviews that it's recommended by people with chronic foot pain and for long wear, I decided to purchase this. I wore it for walks and for long days at work. It was comfortable enough to wear the whole day, but didn't do anything for the foot fatigue that sets in even for walks (15mins-1 hour). I would rather have not bought this especially for the price point.

Comfortably wide in toe box, but too wide in heel causing heel rub; very little arch support and narrow through arch area, seeming to encourage pronation.

I love the comfort of these shoes, but I have had them since October and the tread is coming off already. Not impressed!! I will not buy these again.

Bought these for a 5K and I actually thought they would've been a lot more comfy than they are. I wore them a whole day before the 5K and the soles of my entire feet began to feel sore after wearing them a few hours. I was expecting them to be a lot more cushiony. Let me add, I do not have foot/sole issues. What I do like is how light weight they are, how nice & roomy around the ankle & toe area even though I'm a regular size (not wide width) . . . but honestly I couldn't get over the discomfort on my soles. I did end up wearing them for the 5K but wish they were more cushiony.

In other Hoka shoes, I have found that a size 10.5 W worked, but these shoes were too long for me. Also, I read this was a neutral shoe, yet in the center of the shoe was some sort of square or rectangular hard area that felt like all my weight was focused on the center of the shoe while my heel and toe area were just left hanging out there. I really liked the mixed white and black color scheme, but this shoe was just not for me. I had tried another Hoka shoe that was perfect for me, but it didn't have a padded tongue so there was no protection for the top of my foot. Anyway, back to the drawing board for me.

The Zappo ordering and delivery are top notch. The shoes are less cushioned than I thought. But the price of $140 is good. I would buy from Zappo anytime.

I would not buy this product again
One is higher than the other and this one is not soft enough
I tried to use them and my hip bone was almost dislocated due to the uneven high between the two

I really wanted these to work. The color is phenomenal, and obvious good construction. The inner ankle was hitting my ankle bone and super painful. Also, the toe box is extremely narrow, pinching my big toe in. The bounce is great, the color is great, and the craftsmanship seems solid. I would say this shoe would be great for someone with narrow feet and a high arch, with a high midstep volume.

The older Cliftons fit like a dream. This remake doesn't make it: the toe box is too narrow and too long, and fit at the ankle is just weird.

Overall love them! However I've only had them maybe 2 weeks, worn a handful of times sad the design things on the side are peeling off. It's very strange as I'm not rough on my shoes.

I walk my 2 dogs everyday 3 miles or more and bought these for that read a lot of good things and heard people talk about how good thery were but for me they haven't been the best for walking long distances. I can wear them to do normal things shopping etc but when walking they make my calves sore especially the outside of them I have kept wearing them trying to give them a break in period but it hasn't gotten better when I am done with my walks my calves are sore and my feet are extremely tired so for me these are a fail

The quality of the product has changed since my last order. It seems a lower quality and does not clean as well. And does not feel a sturdy.

I walk many miles every day and these shoes are fabulous and take good care of my feet. This is my second pair and I will buy again when I next need walkers. The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because I dislike most of the colors offered. The one color I did like was unavailable for a very long time everywhere I looked. Also, the price is really high. I know they are good shoes, but I'm not sure the price accurately reflects what goes into making a good shoe. Maybe I'm just not good at spending a lot of money.

Hoping these are the answer. I had a pair of Clifton 8's and wore the completely off of them. Fit is okay. Still getting used to the sole. Time will see.

I have 2 other pairs of Clifton 9 and love them. Only difference in what I ordered was this is a different color. But I find the fit is different too. Not as comfortable and rums on the ball of my foot. Still has the same Hoka cushion. Will keep them for short walks. But not useful for longer ones like my others are.

Feels like a good shoe … just didn’t do it for me. Still like fit and style and will wear just not for what I intended. I needed a shoe I could wear for 12 hours of work on my feet , they aren’t they sneakers for that … at least for me …. But to wear out for walks and outings they look nice.

I know people who love and swear by HOKAs. With all my feet issues I decided to spend the extra money and try them (instead of the Asics and Brooks I usually use). Though HOKAs are very well made, I found them way to clunky and heavy for me. I kept trippin over the shoe as I was wearing it. I can see the appeal but they just didnt work for me .

I like my Dansko walking shoes and my Skechers better. HOKA shoes made my feet sweat much more, and were less breathable.

I've been in these since late September. I enjoyed the feel of the shoe and trained and did a half in them. It's a great shoe except for the outer mesh. I can't get the clean. It's like they collect debris and grime between the layers. I've been in Hoka's since the first Clifton. I've not had this trouble before.
