this shoe had great support and the length was good but it was too wide for my feet.

I received the shoes, but they are way too large. I should have known better than to order these because the size was a women/men size chart so I ordered my size as woman but the shoes were so large and way to wide I will not wear them (even with the both inserts), so I don't know if I like HOKA. It was my mistake to not order just women's shoes but I paid too much to order a different pair. Sorry

The Clifton 9s fit true to size. However, I did not like the feel of the sneakers when you walk in them due to the design of the soles. The heel of the soles are curved upward such that it feels that a part of the heel is missing. My old Clifton 7s were far better in style and comfort.

The fit of these was fine and they were comfortable. Problem is the shape of the back of the shoe. The pad above the heel curves way out. It looked like an elf shoe!

This is my second pair of Hokas. My first pair I wore for a year, I was purchasing new shoes every few months prior to them. I don't remember the name of the previous shoe but this pair is just not the same all day comfort. I am on my feet all day long.

I have been wearing Clifton's every year since the Clifton 4, owning 8 pairs over the years og 9wide. I was not a fan of last year's remodel, I felt they were made smaller and were roo snug in the toe box. These Clifton 9s are the exact opposite. They are very roomy all over, I had to secure the laces very tightly and my foot still slipped. The worst part of the shoe is the tongue. It is sooooooo big! It comes up higher than my other shoes and wraps around my foot covering my ankles. I returned the show for this reason. The tongue was actually hurting my ankle bones. I tried Gaviota and Bondi with no luck. I also tried 9 and an 8.5wide, even the Men's Clifton and no luck.

I just upgraded my Clifton 8s to the 9s (I bought 3 pairs of the 8s) and the fit is not feeling the same. The 9s are pushing weird on the ball of my foot. I ordered the same size as usual but something seems off. The sole in the shoe is not hitting my foot correctly, especially on my right foot. I'm wondering if the Clifton is not a good fit for me now and it's time to figure out other Hoka options.

I wanted these so badly but they hit my arch in the wrong place..off to one side. Had to return.

I purchased these shoes for work, they are so comfortable, and I love that about them. I have worn them a total of 6 time in a dental office and the reflector is peeling off on my left shoe. So that is disappointing to spend a good amount of money on a shoe and it start to come apart the 2nd week in of wearing them.

Not sure what Hoka did, but the Clifton 9 just isn't fitting well with me. I don't care for the new style of the Clifton 9. I love the Clifton 8 but the Clifton 9 just isn't the same. Bring back the Clifton 8!! I'm really upset I can't purchase more Clifton 8 in my size.

I thought this was a good shoe. The problem is forefoot was narrow and toe box not roomy. Sad.

I have several pair of Cliftons which fit my narrow foot well and was impulsive to guy this shoe because of the color. It is fetching, but the absolute devil to keep clean. They might as well be bright white. If only worn indoors, no problem. But, once outside, the dirt shows immediately on the toe and there goes the fun of the cool color.

I ordered these thinking they were a pretty sand color and would be a great neutral shoe. no. they're almost on the verge of baby pink but just a little lighter than than. Disappointed and returned.

I wanted a comfortable shoe to walk a lot during my mission trips. This is not that shoe. I felt like I had too much room in the toe area, then too narrow along the arch. It's not a bad shoe just doesn't fit my feet right. I also tried the Bondi 8, same issue.

I bought these to try for my 12 hour nursing shifts after wearing the bondi 8s for a year. I will say my legs and feet hurt so bad the first time wearing them, which I thought might be a break in period, but as I kept wearing them I noticed the same pain, especially in my heel area. I don't hate them but I don't love the comfort of them. They do have super cute colors, but I have to return because I can't deal with the pain these cause my feet. Definitely going to stick to my bondi 8s.

I think that Hokas need to be tried in a store. The Bondi in an 8 1/2 was huge everywhere; the Clifton is too small in an 8 and felt tight on the side at the arch area. Or maybe just not right for my foot. Love the style and color but returning them. Also not used to wearing a sneaker with so much cushion.

Couldn't use either style I purchased since no 11 1/2 available and 11's women's were not quite long enough. Makes me sad!

I bought these to help with my bunion pain. My bunion pain is less, but I have pain on the top of my foot from wearing these shoes. I've loosened them as much as I can loosen them and I don't even tie the laces. And they are still a bit too snug on top. They do give great support though, and as I said the pain from my bunions has decreased. I'm torn on whether I would buy them again, maybe I would try a different model.

This would be a great shoe if the arch support wasn’t so hard. I can only wear these shoes for 10-15 minutes before my feet start to hurt. Bummer! Unfortunately, will need to return these.

The left shoe had place that rubbed the right top part of my foot. Otherwise a good shoe.

After seeing reviews that it's recommended by people with chronic foot pain and for long wear, I decided to purchase this. I wore it for walks and for long days at work. It was comfortable enough to wear the whole day, but didn't do anything for the foot fatigue that sets in even for walks (15mins-1 hour). I would rather have not bought this especially for the price point.

Comfortably wide in toe box, but too wide in heel causing heel rub; very little arch support and narrow through arch area, seeming to encourage pronation.

I love the comfort of these shoes, but I have had them since October and the tread is coming off already. Not impressed!! I will not buy these again.

Bought these for a 5K and I actually thought they would've been a lot more comfy than they are. I wore them a whole day before the 5K and the soles of my entire feet began to feel sore after wearing them a few hours. I was expecting them to be a lot more cushiony. Let me add, I do not have foot/sole issues. What I do like is how light weight they are, how nice & roomy around the ankle & toe area even though I'm a regular size (not wide width) . . . but honestly I couldn't get over the discomfort on my soles. I did end up wearing them for the 5K but wish they were more cushiony.
