I love Clifton 8s and these are a disappointment. I had major foot surgery after Lisfranc injury and the Clifton 8s were my saving grace. These are not. The tongue is attached on only one side which is uncomfortable. The heel does not sit as tightly causing slippage. The toe box is more narrow. My size in Clifton 8 is 10.5W and I was SWIMMING in 10.5W of these. After wearing these for a month my feet still hurt so I just ordered another pair of Clifton 8s. Definitely would skip this iteration of Cliftons.

I am on my feet a lot for work. The first week, they were great. Now my feet hurt with them. Skechers lasted at least three months. These shoes were not worth the price at all!

I got these for my mom and she can't stop telling me how much she loves these shoes. She says that they make her walk faster lol.

I have tried many different brands since I'm on my feet all day and work in healthcare. These are better than any other brand I've tried! I even like them better than my onclouds! For once my feet don't hurt at the end of the day.

The Hoka is comfortable not heavy sneaker . I have worked two 12 hr shifts in the Hoka 9. My feet or flat no arch the sneaker is fine no complaints

It feels like I'm walking on a bouncy cloud! :-)

I run in the Hoka Clifton 9 and I like this shoe because it has tons of cushion and is light at the same time and you bounce forward a little bit when you run. These shoes have never given me any problems and i train in these shoes every day and they are great for everyday runs and they last up too 400 miles.The only thing that i don't like about this shoe is the laces are a little long but there is a trick that i know to make them shorter. Another drawback is that my heel slips in them but i can use the heel lock method. Overall, there is nothing that I don't like about these shoes and I will never use a different shoe brand and i give these a 5/5

These are my second pair. So comfortable! Love the flat laces that don't untie unlike round ones.

I had a pair of Clifton 8 wide and wanted another pair. I figured I would get the newer version, Clifton 9, hoping they made some cool changes. Boy, did they! They're not as wide, they're chic and, best of you, you can step right in them! Love that feature. Wish I could afford another pair!

Light yet protective of my feet! My podiatrist highly recommends Hokas

Gorgeous looking shoes, excellent workmanship but impossible to wear. I loved the arch support and so wore them a few times while outdoors. The design is really off. The sole doesn't bend at all, it rocks as you walk. That's good for plantar fasciitis but if you have balance issues like I do it's a recipe for disaster. The firm but spongy arch support is too high and I wobble as I walk. The shoes don't allow a normal heel to toe gait. Unfortunately I threw out the box and now I have very expensive door stops. Another thing, I bought normal width and the midstep is too roomy and add to the instability because there's too much room and my feet shift.

Great for running. Shoe is very comfortable. I was told they run a little big so I bought a half size smaller. Wish I would've bought my regular size. The shoe is a little narrow for me- if I buy this shoe again, I'll stick with my regular size.

I normally wear a size 8 and had to exchange them for a 7.5. Really picky about sneakers after I had foot surgery on both feet. Amazing support for long walks and runs. Need to get another set to put into rotation.

Extremely comfortable, has some bounce, makes you a little taller, it's perfect!

After running for a while I would feel a pain in my arch (sort of like a bruise) - after looking online this is a common occurrence for people with flat feet! Sadly, I returned the shoes. So this is something to keep in mind. Other than that I thought they were great shoes!
