It seems the Clifton has changed a bit since my C7s... They "roll" a bit more on from the toe which works well for my daily walks. I'm sticking with my earlier versions for workouts and taiko drumming. I feel more stable on my earlier version of Cliftons. I would recommend these shoes for the cushion and support feeling. They protect my knees from too much impact with the ground/cement etc.

I use these shoes every day at work.But they're not as comfortable as my last Hokas.

This is a very supportive and soft padded shoe. I had Plantar Fasciitis for the last 5 months and had not been able to find the cure shoe. This one works great for me and no more pain running.

A salesperson had me try on the Hoka one one, As I bartend and am on my feet a lot. They were awesome, unlike any sneakers I have owned. I did not like the black and white. For me the soles looked way too thick and maybe could've been half black to lessen that effect. I tried these next and they are not the same. Less cushion and my feet hurt at the end of the shift. Would like to see a few options without such bright, bold colors.

I have had my Clifton 9's now for over a month. For the first time in years, I feel like running again (bad knees from too much long distance over time). They propel me forward. Today I felt I had to give them a break so I am wearing my New Balance in my work from home apparel. I used to love NB; how it feels like I'm walking on concrete vs my Hoka's. Clifton 9 : Great shoe. Period. I know of 3 friends who have now bought Hoka's based on my raving. And I'm gonna buy the Clifton 8 on sale so I can rotate Hoka's every day. My foot is normal width; a little wide in toe box but doesn't compromise function.

I love this sneaker. Very comfortable and supports my high arch.

I probably won't buy this shoe again. It is frustrating when there is a version that is just perfect and the next version is very different and is not what was expected. I bought the Clifton 8 and it was like walking on a cloud. Like it so well I decided to purchase another pair - the version 8 was no longer available so I assumed the version 9 would just be as good - maybe just different colors. Not the case. The 9 is far from the comfort level I had with the 8.

Love the color. Love the weightlessness. Love this shoe. Runs 1/2 smaller than normal size.

Supportive, protective, and plush. The reason for the 4 stars is because I have to get used to boat-like bottom. I lost my balance a few time. Silly,but I got use to it and now it is one of my favorite pair of shoes.

I have a lot of summer clothes the same colors as my new Clifton 9 shoes. I expect to get a lot of wear from these great shoes. So comfortable!

Very Comfortable and good for my feet. I wear them everyday . I am not a runner or walker because of knee issues but love them for daily activities.

These are the BEST wide width shoes! These shoes have saved my feet from the pain of RA and my daughter with splay foot. We have never felt so much comfort. Every where we go everyone ask us how we like our Hoka shoes and we say we LOVE them! My only wish is that they came in a dark gray.

I was recommended to try them, I have a terrible time finding comfortable shoes and sneakers, I need wide and arch support. I have a bad knee and always have pain so walking is uncomfortable. I decided to try based on the 30 day return policy. It took me 3 days to get used to the Clifton 9, the rocker took some time to get used to. I cannot believe how much less my knee and feet hurt. Walking is so much more comfortable and pleasurable. These are a game changer for me. I highly recommend these sneakers!

I just wanted Navy blue and Clifton 9 happened to be in the color I was looking for. They are simply amazing, even better than the Clifton 8 I bought last year. Thinking about getting another pair. Great job HOKA for introducing Clifton 9! They do run half size bigger, I'm normally 8.5 in all my other shoes and have to order 8 in HOKA ( own 3 pairs Bondi 7, Clifton 8, Clifton 9 all size 8).

Overall great running shoe. It's light, has some bounce to help push you forward on your runs, and it did not need a lot of mileage to break in. The only thing is the toe box area is big. I'm a 7.5 for most other shoe brands, but I had to exchange for a 7 and it made a huge difference.

I love these sneakers i going in them and wear them for work . As an event manager you are always on your feet and the Hoka are like walking on clouds.

The shoes have an offensive odor. After wearing them even fir a short time my feet smell bad, this does not happen with any other shoes or my othe HOKAs. I am very dissatisfied and disappointed because they're not cheap. I'd like to return them and get my money back.

Absolutely love them. They are the most comfortable sneakers I have ever owned. Got rid of all my other athletic shoes and bought 3 pairs of HOKA's. My new favorite brand

These fit me, but aren't as comfortable for me as other Hoka shoes I've had in the past. It's not the shoes fault, it's just not my favorite shoe.

The Clifton is my favorite style and I have numerous pairs. That being said, they ruined it! What's with the tongue on the heel? Very uncomfortable and slips when walking. I'm not a fan and will not be purchasing anymore until they modify back to the greatness of the original.
