Love the fit overall. I went by recommendations and went up a half size and I don't think that was necessary, extremely roomy in toe area.

I walk several times weekly and my left heel and top of my foot would begin hurting 40 minutes into my walk. I have no pain in my foot after changing to the Hoka's and have been able to increase my steps.

These are by far the mot comfortable walking shoes I have ever worn. My feet feel great at the end of the day no matter how far I walk or how long I'm on my feet. They fit my arches perfectly, and the balance from a slightly wider front is greatly improved. I have 2 pairs of Clifton 8 and 2 pairs of Clifton 9, and will be buying more Clifton 9's in different colors. I just LOVE these shoes! No more sore, tired, achy feet!

The Clifton 9, toe box too pointy. Scrunches my toes. Liked the Clifton 7, fit the best. The 8 was ok but the overall shoe is wider. Fit of the 9 totally changed. Still like the cushion. The Clifton 9, feel to big where the front part of the foot is, but too scrunched and tight in the toe, pointy. Still love Hoka's but wish the design wouldn't change every year. I have bought Hoka's for years. Have owned Stitson, Challenger, Clifton 5,6, 7, 8, and now 9. Sky Toa.

I have very flat feet & I walk over 10,000 steps a day. I have had a lot of problems & pain with my feet & ankles. I had 3D custom orthodics made. I love that I can easily pull out the insoles on Hokas, to wear my orthodics (if needed). When I got this style, the insoles felt so good that I decided to try wearing them without my orthodics. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to get through a whole day of walking & not be in tremendous pain when I got home. Absolutely love these Hokas!

The color blue is beautiful Comfortable shoes

I'm 61 and needed a good shoe for fast walking. The shoe is light and fits like a glove.

I've been using the shoes for 5 days already and notice that I don't get the calf pain I used to get after a 12hr shift. I'm so amazed However, the original style that I really want is eggnog&pink one but it's not available.

As a teacher, I am always on my feet. I wish I found these sooner! It feels like I'm walking on clouds!

I needed excellent long standing/walking shoes. I have sciatica injuries, both knees are bone on bone, and a torn meniscus in rt. knee. My 1st pair I went to a store and the lady helping told me I was a 7 wide and the shoes are pillows for my feet. Shoes wear in, stretch and unfortunately these did the same so I now have to wear thick socks with them. I decided to order a regular 7 and see if they'd fit better. So far, they are a bit tight and a lil too long. Not really sure what to do now. See if the shoes stretch a bit and feel better? Order a 6 1/2 wide.? It's frustrating to have to order, buy, try, return one shoe after another. As I can't buy 4 sizes at once to test them out and return the rest.

I love the cushion of the shoe but the bottom rubber is too wide and when I'm walking I sometimes bang the shoe on my other shoe or on objects when I walk by them. The shoe is very very comfortable from a fit standpoint and even walking but it's just too wide on the bottom.

Using this for everyday walks and its a game changer. It is great that Hoka released blue colors for this trainers.

Feels big for my size, my feet hurt after a day of wearing. Have only used them a few times I don't think I care west this.

I purchased a pair of Hoka Clifton 8's in white a while ago and I love them. I was looking for an all black shoe and was able to purchase the Hoka Clifton 9's and I have tried wearing them several times. Sadly I have found that the Hoka Clifton 9's are uncomfortable especially compared to my experience with the Hoka Clifton 8's. The Clifton 9's seem to rub the top of my ankle despite trying different ways to tie them. The cushion also seemed to be tougher and not as plush as the Clifton 8's. I tried wearing them several times thinking they need to be broke in but they are just way too uncomfortable. I purchased them from this website and thankfully I am able to return and exchange them for a black/white Clifton 8 (had to get the wide option). I wish that they would bring back the Hoka Clifton 8's and offer more solid colors.

This shoes make me feel as if I'm walking on air, I love how comfortable my feet feel. I bought this pair for work because I'm on my feet all day and since I've been using them my feel feel better at the end of the day. I will buy another pair for work outs

I felt like I was flying with these and they give me so much motivation to run.

The Bondi 7 had the cushion AND upper width I needed. THE Bondi 8 flopped its wide width was narrow in the upper with an incongruously wide sole. The Clifton 9 is wide enough but not as comfortable walking as the Bondi 7. HOKA doesn't seem to listen to reviews. I chatted with a person and voiced my concerns, which I read are not unique. And when you do offer a women's wide, it is often available in bizarre colors only in the wide width. And again, not the cushion of the Bondi 7.

The fit is not right for me my feet and legs were painful within 2 hours

Best sneakers ever! Feel like heaven on my feet. Highly recommend. I bought a second pair of the Clifton 9s within a week of trying the first pair. Love these sneakers, will never go back to any other brand.

Clifton 8 seems more comfortable than Clifton 9. Maybe I need to wear them more for adjustments Clifton 9 is more snug

Love the Clifton series and the Citrus Glow/Sunlit Ocean color is beautiful!! It is nice to have some bright colors in women's shoes!!
