I have really enjoyed my first pair of Hokas. They are comfortable, attractive (for real) and helping my running game. They were recommended by friends, family and also my chiropractor to help correct my step and it's working. I've felt inspired to run more in these because they're so comfortable. I did size down a half size after trying my regular size in most brands. Happy with my purchase

I’ve been having trouble with my feet. I used to wear Brooks ghost.
Lately they hurt my feet.
This are very comfortable.
I wear 7 in everyday , in these I wear 7 wide for my big toe arthritis. Perfect fit.

My first hike wearing them was 5 miles and my feet felt great during and after. They are a very cushioned lightweight shoe!

I had shoes EXACTLY ONE WEEK and the bottoms were coming apart and off. Running to a patient room, the dislodging sole causes my ankle to twist and I went face first into the wall. I consider a black eye and very sore nose a blessing. Had the wall not been there I believe I would have broke my neck. Do not recommend.

I like the shoe so much. Super comfortable for all day walking, exercising and running. I want to love it, but the sole / bottom is very very thick. It will be fine once I get use to it. As for now, my feet drag a little as I'm running.

I have to say up front that I'm not one who typically complains about products, nor do I expect perfection from anything I purchase, but I've also never spent over $100 on sneakers or running shoes before either so I guess in this case I was expecting a better outcome, after reading so many great reviews and recommendations. I'm 60 and have always been active but recently started experiencing some joint issues due to osteoarthritis (foot, ankle and knee pain), but I love walking and am used to walking many miles a week. Seems like I could no longer find a super comfortable walking shoe/sneaker. I don't typically have any special foot considerations, other than I've been going with a wider width for the last couple of years. Taking the plunge, I purchased 2 pairs of your Clifton 9's as well as the Ora Recovery Sandal online June 23rd (Order #NA18096581). I wanted to give them a fair shake before sending them back, although I didn't think I should need to "break them in". Although the Clifton is not necessarily attractive on the foot (looks and feels like wearing flippers!), I didn't care as long as it was comfortable and would work for the long haul. Unfortunately, wearing them for any length of time proved uncomfortable, leaving me with a blister on the top of my 2nd to last toe of right foot (something I've never gotten before with any sneaker, especially when wide width), and the sandals - after a short walk of about 1.5 miles resulted in rub spots/blisters on the tops of both feet and I ended up walking back to the car barefoot because they hurt so bad. I still have a week, so I'm contemplating returning all 3 items, since it was such a large investment for me.

Loved the shoes. I think I hit my outside of my foot on something because I noticed the foam was ripped.

Very comfortable for all day wear. Bothered by the yellow wrap over the toe isn't a match. Would probably look at a light blue pair next time.

Oh my goodness! As soon as I tried these shoes on, my feet felt like they were floating on air. The soul is very cushy, and you feel light on your feet. Yes, they are expensive, but feet and knees are worth it!

I walk 15,000 to 20,000 steps a day, usually 7 days a week. I developed nodules on the soles of my feet, and was diagnosed with Plantar Fibroma by my podiatrist. When recommending shoes for my walking routine, Hoka was one of the brands my podiatrist mentioned. I purchased my first pair about 6 months ago and they made an incredible difference in both the enjoyment level of my walks, and also the comfort given to my feet. I just purchased my second pair and they too are amazing. Also, the nodules on the bottom of both my feet have receded - which I wasn't expecting (I was only hoping the change in shoes would ensure the condition wouldn't get worse). I have a follow up appointment with my podiatrist in a couple of weeks - can't wait to share with her the difference the Hoko brand has made for/to me.
