These sneakers are super comfortable and really need no break-in period. I wore them once before going on a week-long European trip where we did a ton of walking. I then wore them every day except one while on my trip. They live up to their comfortable reputation. I also love the color I selected. Love the black with a touch of multi-color around the collar. I would like to give them 4.5 stars but since that isn't possible, I'll knock 1 star off because on the inside of my left foot where the ankle bone is gets rubbed by the shoe when it is properly tied. I've never had this issue with any other brand before. I had to make some adjustments so I get it back to comfortable. If I don't remember to make those adjustments, I feel the discomfort again. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase.

Feels like I am walking on clouds. I always buy a half size larger to allow for wearing socks.

I was disappointed I had to return but they were too big. Same size as older pair but didn't work

I have worn Hoka Clifton's for years now. I have had plantar fasciitis in the past and for about 7 years now, wearing Clifton's, I haven't had any problems. About a year ago I bought my daughter the Clifton9's and she is now plantar fasciitis free! She works at a pharmacy and is on her feet all day. I can't say enough about Clifton's!

I became a huge fan of Hoka when I purchased my first pair in 2021. I am not sure of the "name" of the ones I purchased because I loved them so much I wore out all wording within the shoe (and wore holes in the outsole). Fast forward to June 2023, and I purchase the Clifton 9 recommended to me by the sales associate. They felt amazing - until they didn't. I have only had these for 6 months and they no longer have support. I was hoping they would last at least a year since I no longer run, walk only and shorter distances. I haven't given up on Hoka, just disappointed these didn't hold up like my first pair.

These seem to be the only sneakers I can work all day in. They have helped with me knee and back pain immensely

I'm on my feet all day and the HOKA provided me with comfort all day. I will no longer buy any other sneakers!!

I love these tennis shoes. I have been wearing them since the day I received them. The padding is excellent. I have no more pain. I look forward to buying another pair soon.

I purchased at the Nov. 2023 & received after Thanksgivings. The shoe is light weight. The rebound for my toes is great. The Clifton 9 blk/blk 7.5 wide is true to size. However, the heel area is not as comfortable as I needed balance shoe from heel to toe. I walk on concrete for 8-10 hours per day. This was one of the HOKA shoe finder suggested shoes for walking on concrete. I am looking for a shoe that is comfortable, take a pounding on concrete and rebounds from heel to toe with the insole surrounded by plush.

My husbands first pair. It has helped bring down swelling in ankles. Had tried many other labels this is pair that has helped.

I placed an order for my usual Bondi 8's but the order was cancelled due to back order. I continued checking every few weeks without success. Clifton 9 popped up after I filled out my requirements, (something I haven't done in a couple of years). The black with rose gold were so cute. They didn't have my usual 6 regular but wide was available so I got those. They're super comfy & wear very well. They're actually beautiful.

After all the great reviews I had high hopes but the shoe did not have the cushioning or the fit I need. My previous Hokas had a wide toe bed & these did not have the same. The roominess just wasn't there. Unfortunately I had to return them, but the customer service was awesome.

I have worn the Clifton's for five years and loved them! The Clifton 9 rubs in the heel, perhaps because the tab at the back is much thicker and stiff. They are just not the same fit at all. I returned them. Really sad as these helped my foot issues, and I lived in them. Walked all over Europe in my previous Clifton's, but the 9, no way.

These are great shoes , this is all I wear at work , I have had many pairs of HoKA 's

They are not as comfortable as I was expecting. This is my second pair of HOKA's the first pair was comfortable and didn't have any pressure points these have pressure points and hurt my feet after a couple hours on my feet. Do not appear to have enough cushion in the heels and hurts my arch. After a while even hurt the top of my feet.

Was recommended for plantar fasciitis. Coupled with acupuncture the pain is gone. Great shoe. Just wish all running/walking shoe designers could work on a more durable heel ... especially outside back edge. Was an Asics believer for decades of running until the toe box was changed, now definitely Hokas are best for me.

This happens to be my favorite. I have Bondi, Gaviota and 2 Clifton 9. They support with lightweight material. I have white and pink. I started wearing Hoka when my orthopedic surgeon told me post ankle surgery to only wear athletic shoes. My research and conversations with my PT determined I try Hoka. I purchased my first pair of Hoka, Bondi. I am in love. My ankle and post surgical site with plate and screws are well supported and no pain. The swelling is decreasing this is a year long process. I wear them in the house to the gym and out and about! Highly recommend them

This shoe was recommended by my podiatrist and I'm glad he did. I have plantar fasciitis and this shoe helps lessen the pain.

Cliffton 9 does not disappoint, Best version yet! Comfy and supportive

Working as nurse, I need to have a decent shoes. As far as I am concern with my new kicks, I am loving it. Feels like I am walking in a cloud.
