Very comfortable and great for walking. Color is awesome. But, one thing. The side is rubbing on my ankle and feels like it could make a blister. I solved it by removing laces from second hole. But the sides seem to be a bit higher than those of the Clifton 8.

Bought these for my wife. She absolutely loves the color (black and rose gold) and even more the comfortable insole.

This is my first pair of Hoka and I love the Clifton 9! Super comfortable and cushioned which is great for my joints. At first the balance felt off, but I got used to it. I love the fit, color, and how light I felt when running.

This is my third pair of Clifton's. I walk every morning and they are the absolute best shoes to keep me moving. The new colors are awesome. I like the black and these have just enough color to really pop

I exercise regularly, but wasn't able to do so for a while because of a bad knee. These shoes are a came changer! They feel great when you have them on. They absorb the shocks of every step you take. For the first time I a few month, I went running again, it was felt amazing. I absolutely do not regret purchasing them.

I have various issues with my feet such as arthritis, calloused from bone spurs etc. These shoes make going for walks possible. I heard about Hoka shoes from my podiatrist . Since then I've noticed a lot of people wearing them, including nurses.

I am so happy with them, but will need to return. According to their sizing chart, I am a size 9. However, I just tried them on today and they are a half size too large.

These are my first pair of Hokas. I worn these mostly for treadmill miles since it is winter in New England. But looking forward to running with these on the road soon. Overall they are comfortable. I just wish the heels fit more tightly. I tie my laces to lock the heel down but then it puts a lot of pressure across the top of my foot. Nothing too bad but would probably get 5 stars if they fixed that.

I want to make a note of something to look out for. I bought Clifton 9 and they are great: comfy, lightweight and attractive. Recently a little piece of the bottom sole close to the front toes started flapping. It ripped a bit more each time I wore them and today, an entire piece ripped off the bottom sole! I'm a bit disappointed as I love these and they are not cheap. Not sure if to buy this line again.

I've been in these since late September. I enjoyed the feel of the shoe and trained and did a half in them. It's a great shoe except for the outer mesh. I can't get the clean. It's like they collect debris and grime between the layers. I've been in Hoka's since the first Clifton. I've not had this trouble before.

I walk all day. This is my 2nd pair and I love them! Super comfortable!

These Clifton 9's are absolutely killing my feet. I'm not sure why because I have several other pair and they don't hurt my feet at all.

As this was my first Hoka purchase, I went into the store and tried on several styles. Was planning on buying Bondi but the frame was pressing on my arch in an annoying way. Ended up with the Clifton 9 in vanilla astral. All styles were true to size. Clifton 9 and Araya 7 were the best fits. I went with the Clifton's but ordered a pair of Arrays in black with white sole to switch out. I do love the vanilla color as it is nuetral. Will match a wide variety of colors.

comfy color selection needs work unless it's ur 1st year of clown college.

These are beautiful, just as they appear in the pictures. I would give them a 4.5 because I do feel like my heels hurt at the end of the day, but provide a lot of comfort especially for short term wears!

I am so glad my husband recommended Hoka to me. I have purchased 3 thus far since last December and I must say the Clifton 9s are my favorite this far. I had foot surgery to have my arches lifted a few years ago and had not been able to find a shoe where I could run again without having major pain afterwards. Because of these shoes I am able to run again with nearly no pain at all. I didn't think I would find a shoe that would make that possible again. I am on my way to running those 6 miles 5 to 6 days a week like I use to. Thank you for these shoes Carla W.
