I recently purchased these shoes with high hopes they would be as comfortable as reviews have stated. Unfortunately , they fell short of expectations. After wearing these for a few hours I experience excruciating pain in the heel and up the back of my leg. Not a good shoe for a person with plantar fasciitis.

Purchased the Blue Clifton 9 and was so excited to take them out of the box. They are a vibrant color, and are sharp looking. Everything was great until I tried them on o month later. They are extremely uncomfortable with a hard bottom and side to the shoe that limits wearing for more than a couple of hours at a time. This shoe is poor compared to the Clifton 8.

Love these shoes. This is my second pair & they are the comfiest shoes by far I've purchased.

These are one of the most comfortable sneakers that I have ever owned . The higher wedge felt a bit strange at first but you adapt quickly . Great walking shoes .

This is my first time ordering and running in a Hoka Sneaker. OMG! My feet, legs, and whole body reacted so well. SO glad my husband made the recommendation!

this shoe has a built in "shoe horn"by where your heel just slides inno more trouble pulling the back side out of the shoe after you're all the way in. it's a genius design

I bought these shoes for my trip to DC with my daughters 8th grade class. We walked many miles and were on our feet all day and most of the night. These shoes helped my feet so much.

The shoes themselves are extremely comfortable and great for all day wear! Pick any color other than white they get exceptionally dirty very quickly. All I do is breathe and dirt appears. I am a white shoe enthusiast and these Hokas are dirtier than my old white sneakers and I just got them

I have severe mid foot arthritis in both feet. I did some research and found that rocker bottom shoes might help. I tried a couple different brands, but the Hoka's Clifton 9 were the only ones that helped. After wearing them for a week my pain has almost disappeared!!! I am so grateful for these shoes.

Initially wasn't pleased, took me a few runs to break the shoes in. Now that they are broken I like them. I have wider feet and did not order the "wide" size option. I wish I did.

I used it for walking on a hard surface for three hours nonstop. I love the cushion and the wide toe box, but sometimes I feel like it is not stabilizing.

I have worn Clifton's for a number of years and was really looking forward to this new pair. I wore them for an hour walking around in my house and they made my legs and back hurt like they have never hurt before. I walk 5 to 6 miles a day and the Clifton's have always been comfortable to wear. The Clifton 9's are clunky and rub on the inside of my ankles. Please bring back the Clifton 8! I just don't know what I'm going to wear for walking shoes now.

Its a beautiful sneaker but the back tip was DEFECTIVE; it was too large and would have not look good with any slacks or clothing period. It was so obvious unlike my several Hokas purchased in store. I had to send them back.

Great for my daily brisk 4-mile walks, 10-mile hikes, or toodling around all day while traveling. I admit that I prefer black, rather than in-your-face bright colors. Means I can more comfortably wear them into evenings - 1 less pair of shoes to pack.

I was a little skeptical to buying these because they are so expensive. But, they are so worth it. Easily my favorite shoes. I typically wear Nikes but I will be wearing these going forward. So incredibly comfortable for every day wear and working out/walking/running

I am 75 years old and have never been so impressed with a pair of shoes in my life. I literally couldn't believe how wonderfully supportive and comfortable my New Clifton's were from the first minute I put them on! Literally no break-in required.. I walk several miles a day and look forward to it more than ever before. Thank you, Hoka, for such a superb product!

Am used to wearing the Bondi 7 shoes - The Clifton 9 seems more cumbersome & even though I tried to break in a few hours at a time my hips are not reacting well to this shoe - HOKA rep on phone said they would be better for senior citizen & lower but they unfortunately are not.

Parts of the soles of these shoes started coming apart. I sent the shoes back to Hoka within their warranty limits and they would not honour their warranty.

I love the shoe but the first pair I bought within a week of wearing them the bottom of the shoe started to come off. Easy exchange for another pair but now 6 months later the bottom of my shoe sis coming off again. I am a nurse tech in a very busy ER and I walk about 5-6 miles each shift. These shoes have saved my back and knees but extremely disappointed they keep falling apart.

My first pair took some getting used to and it felt like I was bouncing a bit from all the cushion. However these shoes have totally taken away my plantar fasciitis. No more issues so I plan to continue to purchase these in the future. I love this color. My first pair were more white than color and got dirty fast. Highly recommend to those who need good arch support and cushion and who have plantar fasciitis issues.

I wore the shoes for the first time and the toe box feels to wide. I need a shoe that has some width and a narrow heel. I will try it with different socks.

These Hoka Clifton 9 's are so comfort and since I've had problems with my feet, these are th best for stability and cushioning. I love them so much that I purchased multiple colors so I have a variety to choose from.

Wrong size, width, color. When I contacted them they wanted to charge me for another pair to send the right shoes!! Returned and will never use again. Runners Warehouse delivered the right shoe in 2 days.
