I really like the firmer sole.

I love the Hoka Clifton 9, it's so comfy, it feels like u are walking on sponge. I am a hairstylist so this sneaker is perfect for me.

Possibly could have used a wide shoe. I stand 7 to 8 hours a day at work.

Purchased a womens 9, my normal shoe size. The fit is perfect! The toe box is nice and wide. The interior cushion is plush, the tread is bouncy. Great shoes, will definitely purchase Hokas again.

Have been wearing Cliftons for quite a few years, several pairs a year. HATE the new ones I just got. The tongue is so high up on my instep it pushes into my ankle. And the tab at the heel is annoying. I am returning them unfortunately.

My other Hoka's are a neutral color with brighter accents. Love this new shade. Just putting them on makes any day a sunny day.

I love my Clifton 8 model sneakers. The Clifton 9 fits like they changed their last to mens sizing. The toe box is huge and the tongue and heel counter are too long. The outsole is higher and I need an outsole that is not so bulky like the original style. I am really upset that I can no longer find Clifton 8's online. If you are going to change the whole shoe, just call it another name and keep the Clifton 8's on the market! I do not know what the team in the Hoka Headquarters was thinking(?) to make this awful decision to completely get rid of the Clifton 8 which is an entirely different fitting and designed shoe!

These provide great support and were comfortable right out of the box. Perfect for long walks with the dog.

Bought the shoe and so much better than OC with its clunky stone-collecting midline on the sole. Comfortable and sturdy. Midsole hasn't worn out. Wear it daily for walking and knock about. Absolutely love this shoe!

I am always searching for comfortable shoes. Got these ones and could not believe how comfortable they are!! Started using them at the gym but will take them to future trips so my feet don't hurt after long walks. Thank you!

Clifton 8 truly made my life better. I have cerebral palsy and I have quite a bit of foot pain. The Clifton 9 is comfortable, but it's stiffer and not as cushioned in the foot bed area. Clifton 9 is a downgrade. I have arch pain with the Clifton 9 that I never had with Clifton 8

I originally bought my typical size 8 which were too big. I exchanged for a 7.5 which were again too big. I then tried to exchange again for a smaller size and was told I now can only return so therefore they lost a sale for this time and in the future!

I love HOKA shoes but CLIFTON didn't work for me. My knee and ankle pain came back. It's probably work for most of the people but unfortunately not for me . I returned it.

I purchased these because I was having awful pain in the heel of my foot. This sneaker is so comfortable and easy walking shoes. After changing over to this Hoka, the pain has certainly subsided. I found out afterwards that I have Plantar Fasciitis and was told I couldn't have make a better choice. I do plan to order more pairs.

I have had a pair of Hokas bought in February, 2023. They were great. This new pair is not wide enough in the toe box even though they are the same size. I have small bunions which cause no problems with the right sneaker. This one is not so great for me. I was told Hoka and Altrta were the best.

I do not like these new Clifton 9s. They don't feel like Cliftons anymore, they feel way too bulky/plush like Bondis. I had to walk with my feet wider apart so they wouldn't hit each other when I walked. I felt like I had huge marshmallows on my feet. The Clifton 8s are my favorite, and lots of other reviewers agree. Please bring them back!

I have planter faschitis, an old sprained ankle that still swells, and a tight Achilles Tendon. I have been trying to find a sneaker but with no luck. My podiatrist recommended Hoka sneakers. I finally broke down and bought a pair and they are WONDERFUL! In fact I bought a second pair.

Pretty disappointed about these sneakers given the amount of money I paid for them. While they are super comfortable me it's sad that the lace came frayed.

OK, I just got these today and I am super in love. I tried them on and they felt so good, I immediately had to take a walk. I just got back from my fastest mile yet. Every step feels bouncy and light. The shoe perfectly wraps itself around my feet. There is no rubbing or weird pokey things inside the shoe that irritate.

I work in the OR and do a lot of standing in one place and these are perfect. So much cushion and comfort.

I sprained my foot 7 years ago, and it hasn't been the same since. Many shoes aggravate it. I was able to wear these with no break-in period needed for 30k steps over a long weekend on a trip. The ball of my feet didn't hurt like they do with other shoes. And no blisters! They are cushy and delightful shoes.

I bought the Clifton 9 because I needed an everyday shoe for walking the dog. Bought them in October and after daily use for about three four months the back of the shoe in the heel area have completely disappeared they have worn down so much I mean with shoes this is a given but for the price I paid I am very disappointed to see how easily they wore down. I still wear them even though I now see the plastic backs I paid almost $200 for these and now suffer with daily blister and heel pain. For the price I would hope some better quality and durability would come with it

My new dedicated pickleball shoes that also address my platar fasciitis. Love them! Have received many compliments on how sharp they look too.

I am pleased with the Clifton9. I'm not a runner, but got them for work in healthcare. The cushion has kind of a springy feel. Would purchase again.
