I will start by simply saying that I absolutely LOVE the Clifton 9! This was my second purchase of this style but my other pair is the black on black. I work on my feet all day at an elementary school and i have a bad back and since purchasing my first pair, work has been SO much more enjoyable! I havent had any flareup pain since I've been wearing HOKA's which is MAJOR for me! OK, so this pair appears to look grey on the site, which is exactly what I was looking for, however when they arrived they are actually a pale baby blue. Just a heads up! I really wish that they would offer the mens colors in smaller sizes because most of the mens colors are something more or less what I actually prefer for my style...

Wow, these are truly the most comfortable things I've ever put on my feet! The plain white looks so sleek and wil match with everything. I'm glad they will work with regular street clothes without looking too athletic with bright colours. Will be taking these with me to Tokyo next month, I can tell my feet will thank me!

Love these shoes. Comfortable from the moment you step in to them. And then the entire time you are wearing them. My favorite shoes. This is my second pair.

It's my first Hoka and was very excited to try Clifton 9, however, the thick shoe tongue really digs on my skin while walking. I reached out to costumer service to discuss for replacement coz I probably just got a defective one. Well, I was told I had to pay for the shipping and they still need to assess if they are going to replace with the same product. No guarantees there! Boo! I love how my toe fits and would like the same style. I placed a binder clip to flatten the area. Let's see if that will work.

This is my first pair of Hoka - Clifton 9 wide. They feel so lightweight and comfortable. The back leans away from my ankle (rear) which is good because alot of shoes run that area raw. I can't wait to go for my walks in them. I gave 4 stars because I have walked in them yet I may have to exchange however as the colour is much lighter than I thought. It is more of a light lilac than the grey. I walk on a gravel track and don't want the shoes to look so dirty all of the time.

Fit well in my normal sneaker size. I like the heel part where I can slip in hands free without collapsing it although it looks a little funky sticking out so far. Not a major issue.

These are such good shoes for daily running!

I wanted to love these shoes, but unfortunately, I didn't. After trying them on, my toes hurt, and a blister formed. My feet hurt after wearing them all day. The cushions on the bottom of the shoes felt uneven. As a nurse, I wouldn't recommend these shoes for all-day use. I returned them, and this is my second attempt with this company. If the third try doesn't work, that will be it for me.

These Hokas feel great and after a few days of wear, I feel like I can be more active again. Hips and knees are loving them too.

I'm actually going to buy a second pair for back up just in case they're discontinued. This show is supportive and so comfortable, and I love the accent color allowing me to wear them with anything!

Excellent shoe. Love the cushioning and support. I wear these at work, 12 hours a day. Comfortable every minute!

So comfortable, I run a 5k every day and my total time was an entire minute faster than my usual run, definitely never not wearing Hokas. I did not expect them to live up to the hype

I bought these because I have plantar fasciitis and I thought my foot needed to adjust to the shoe. These are excruciating with my orthopedic inserts;(. I love my other Hoka purchase so I was surprised these hurt

Love, love, love these shoes. Most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. They are great if you get plantar fasciitis. I have bought multiple pairs in different colors!

These shoes were much heavier and didn't feel as nice as I was hoping for. I sent them back and have reordered a different style.

I forgot how good new Cliftons felt. Firm yet soft cushioning, upper that fits my foot perfectly.

Brother has been telling me I needed a pair (he's cheap) but he owns several pair! Well they are up to the hype! The BEST SHOE EVER I'm looking for next pair now!

I am 62 and walk 30-40 minutes every day. I have fraying in my hip labrum. These shoes have helped. There is no harsh impact while walking anymore. I love these. Definitely will get more.

I purchased this shoe when I wore out my previous running shoes because I had heard good things about them. I love the way they look and they're super comfortable however after the first month, pieces of the bottom started to peel off and flap around when I'd walk. I ended up having to cut off chunks of the shoe which was really disappointing. I thought I was alone on this until my friend said it started happening to her too. Definitely an issue that could use resolving, especially for the price of the shoe!

I will never understand why companies change their most successful products so much over time, that they become something completely different. I started wearing Hoka's back when barely anyone knew the name. The nursing community devoured these sneakers and I would venture to say we gave the company the equivalent of millions of dollars of free advertising. I currently have 13 pairs...starting with the Clifton 6. I walk 3-5 miles several times a week. Some of my favorite Cliftons-the 6 and 7's, are still in pristine condition. I started seeing a difference with the new purchases about 2 yrs ago. Something was just off and at first I couldn't place my finger on it. Today, it hit me. The Clifton 6 and 7's were perfect. Light. Thin. Airy...so airy that on windy cold days, I could actually feel the wind blowing through the top of the sneaker onto my feet. They had these tiny rubber like lines on the toes that were amazing because instead of dirt getting on the material in the toe area...you could just wipe it off the rubber and they stayed clean looking for a long time. Little by little, the material on the newer Cliftons became thicker. Tighter around the feet. My feet feel suffocated in them...hot and sweaty after long walks. The last three pairs I purchased started getting the smelly foot smell. I have never in my life had this problem. In fact...I have Hoka's that are 5 years old that I STILL wear that have never started to smell. Then, the pair I bought last year gave me a blister on the side of my foot under the big toe. Despite all of this I convinced myself these were flukes. I purchased ANOTHER pair two weeks ago. After a 3 mile walk my feet felt hot, stifled, and a small blister formed on the opposite foot in the same spot. Sadly, this is me breaking up with you Hoka. Reading the other reviews..It's not us. It's you. I doubt it will make a difference, once a company gets too big they start cutting corners and ignoring their old faithfuls.

I love this shoe, had to buy this because my dog ate the last pair, but your one hiking shoe I've only wore once it was horrible, but I'll always buy your other shoes. I have 4 pairs and wore out 2 pairs
