I walk every day and these shoes are perfect they are cushy and just make my feet happy

Comfortable enough to wear throughout the day, (I usually wear sandals or no shoes!)

I like the way these feel in terms of cushion a lot. I have 2 slight issues. They are both caused but the orthotics I use. One, they squeeze my feet along the top and sides because the orthotics are thicker than the inserts they come with. Two, I feel like my feet are going to slip out because the sides are really low. And I can't tie them tighter because they're already squeezing. I do like that the back part is rigid so they are easy to get on and off.

My first pair at 61 yrs old. Love them, very bouncy and could walk all day in them. So lightweight & comfortable.

Comfortable right out of the box. No break in needed. Great shoes for walking!

I ordered the Clifton 9 after my PF flared up. I felt immediate relief and support. They are definitely helping with recovery. Great to walk in as I slowly increase my milage back to where I was.

I love my new Hoka Clifton 9 walking shoes! Perfect fit, size 11 (my normal shoe size) with plenty of toe room. My feet are not wide, so I didn't order this option. I mainly purchased for walking on my treadmill, which gives me plenty of stability. I'm very happy with my first Hoka purchase. I'm a retired nurse and have seen in the past my fellow nurses wearing these shoes, now I know why, superb comfort and support!

Overall very comfortable shoes. I brisk-walked in them for over 2 miles in DC. and my legs still felt fresh. Wish there were wide options for size 5 and 5.5. I got 5.5 a half size up and tie box works okay. Logos on the shoes are overkill; there were three or four on each one that Tsao excessive in my opinion.

I walk on grocery store floors all day long, 40 hours a week. So a comfortable supportive shoe is a must. The Hoka Clifton 9 has been ideal with hardly any breaking in time from day one. So far so good!

I have owned four pairs of Hokas now, and while these are fine, they're my least favorite, as they're essentially like Brooks (without the plush comfort of my other Hokas). I ended up with the Clifton 9 after using the Hoka style finder app on the website. I am mostly a neighborhood/treadmill walker.

Everyday wear, comfort

My feet are still hurting and legs. My back. I was hoping this was the answer.

These sneakers are the best I have ever purchased. Wearing them is like walking on a cloud. The heal bed is very comfortably padded. The shoes are stylish and fun to wear every day and all day. I love these shoes!

Purchased the seasonal black with mauve sole highlights, which is nice. But do NOT like the Clifton 9 changes. I have the 7 and 8 versions and do not like the extended tongue or side ankle support. It's too high and tends to cut into my ankle in front. I wish they'd quit trying to improve when a cutis already great in other words.. don t fix what aint broken!! I doubt I'll buy online again. Do not want to buy a shoe that has worked for years only to find the newest version is an ill-fitted shoe. Thinking of trying On next.

I have only worn these shoes once to go walk on a trial with steep elevation. Not true hiking trails, but with good elevation. They are comfortable and I felt like I could walk pretty fast with these shoes on. I felt good support to my feet and they helped me to walk a bit faster. Overall well-cushioned and comfortable. Only one thing I don't like, is that the sleeve on my left shoe kept rubbing against the top of my left foot, which caused some discomfort.

Purchased the Clifton, walked 20 minutes & the tongue rubbed on top of my foot. The shoe fit ok other than that. I did a previous review & when I submitted it after 15 mins of my time, the website had an error... so suspicious as to if HOKA doesn't print anything less than 5 star reviews. I gave it a 4 star the 1st time....not this time. Hate it when companies don't allow less than perfect reviews!

Comfortable when walking not so much with static standing like during work which is what I'm endlessly looking for

I only gave 4 stars because I got a blister running my long run today, which has never happened to me before. Not sure if the shoe isn't right for me, I need a different sock, or need a bigger size? Haven't had any issues wearing them for shorter runs. I'm going to try some things because I really want these to work!

I was on the hunt for the quintessential walking shoe. After reading testimonials online & articles about great walking shoes for aging feet, I finally decided on Hoka- Clifton 9! The dream shoe for my daily early morning walks. Lightweight, supportive & sassy colors! Love them!

So comfortable for my arthritis. My running friends swear by them, and now me too. So much more fun than old-lady orthopedic shoes!
