My first pair was the Bondi, and seem to fit a little better for my foot. The Clifton are comfortable, but I would probably consider a half size larger next time.

I stand still for my job and these did NOT do the job. My feet really hurt after a 4 hour shift of standing still..

I got the Clifton 9's because my Clifton 8 was very dead and ran out of my size in any color I would be interested in getting. I heard good things from the 9 so thought it should be a fine upgrade. I got the celery root/golden lichen color, I wasn't sure about it when i ordered and I'm not sure about it now, but its growing on me. I did 5 miles today with some tempo work and the shoe felt slightly firmer than the 8, but that could also be that it was my first run in them and they may soften a little bit as I put more miles on them. Either way the firmness didn't bother me. one thing that i like better in this updated Clifton over the 8 is that the insert doesn't cut into my medial foot, so I don't need to replace the inserts with other ones. Overall, the 9 wasn't much of a change from the 8 in all the best ways. I like the look of the higher stack, feels secure in the midfoot with slightly roomy toe box, cushioned tongue for comfort, and just enough cushion to make those easy miles feel breezy without it being squishy or unstable. Would recommend for runners looking for a comfy neutral shoe to log some easy miles in!

I've had a couple of minor knee and foot issues, and these shoes seem to correct my gait so that even with lots of up and down stairs lifting things for hours, my feet/knees/legs feel great! I love these shoes!

I'm not sure what number of pair of Hoka Cliftons this is but they have never failed me. I started wearing these shoes after developing neuromas in my feet years ago and haven't had one since. For every 12hr restaurant shift that would have destroyed my feet, I have these shoes to thank for being able to get up and do it all over the next day. I absolutely recommend them.

Hoka Clifton's are great for walking, especially if you need a lot of cushion and support.

I waited for Hoka to re-stock this shoe and it was worth waiting for! I wear them at work where I am on my feet for extended hours and for walking. Very comfortable and no sore joints or back.

I would highly recommend this shoe! Feels like you're walking on cotton! I chose the bright colors being that I work in a hospital! Bringing daily smiles to staff and patients!

I purchased three HOKA shoes, the Kawana, the Clifton 9, and the Bondi. I thought all felt comfortable on my foot, but ultimately chose the Kawana because I liked it best. Unfortunately, the sizing wasn't right in any of them, so I can only share my experience trying them on, not with day-to-day wear. Also, the pair I tried on was super squeaky when walking/running indoors on my wood floor. I am kind of glad I didn't like these because if that squeak didn't go away, I could not have worn them, it was obnoxious. I highly recommend measuring your foot and going with the size it is closest to on the size chart, do not just order your usual size or a half size larger because it's a running shoe. I always wear a 9 or 9.5 in running shoes (like Brooks) regardless of what the size chart says. In HOKAs, I *think* I am an 8.5. All three were at least a half size too long and I believe that is why my heel slipped in all three pairs. I reordered the Kawana in an 8.5, and hoping that issue is resolved. As for the width, both the Clifton and the Bondi were available in wide and since my foot is on the wide side and many shoes (e.g., Nike and Brooks) feel tight in the toe box, that's what I got. I feel like a wide was the right decision, but since they were too long, I really can't say for certain.

This is my second pair of the Clifton 9's and they are so comfortable. It feels like I'm walking on clouds. The material helps keep my feet from overheating on long walks, and they are so durable. I'll continue to wear Clifton 9's as long as Hoka makes the style.

This is by far one of the worse running shoes I've ever tried on. Massive heel support and ZERO ankle support. You feel like you're going to fall out of them. My Ortho doc has NO IDEA how these are classified under "orthotics" absolutely not. Returning. Don't waste your money. Honestly shocked.

Overall I have been liking the shoes and I think they have helped while walking not to experience as much pain in my knee. That being said I don't think I will be buying another pair any time soon because the price seems like a lot for a pair of sneakers

This shoe was recommended to me by an orthopedist because I damaged the capsule at the base of my second toe and he said stiff soles would help it heal. Unfortunately, I have a bunion that makes my foot skew to one side and with the shape of these shoes, about half the toe box is empty and my toes are scrunched. My foot is narrow and since these are made for men and women, so the medium width is a little loose in the heal and I think a wide would be worse. I'm returning them.
