Absolutely LOVE my Hokas. Lightweight, soft heel, arch support, and a slightly wider toe box so when you walk your foot can flatten out slightly instead of being "hugged" and hoping the shoe will eventually break-in. Comfortable from the very beginning, no breaking in period at all. I put the gel heel inserts in mine anyway and now they are the perfect shoes. If you've ever had plantar fasciitis, this shoe will provide the comfort needed so it never comes back! I purchased the black with copper logo and the logo looks like rose gold, a good-looking shoe. Out of the box, one shoe weighs 8.6-oz., super light! They do look slightly larger than my other shoes, probably because the toe box is slightly wider and taller, but I'm good with it because they are so comfortable. The heel outsole is designed wider where it touches the ground, thus giving you more stability. I would no recommend this shoe for running, the outsole is designed more for walking and the toe box has too much room for movement, making it unstable for running. This shoe is designed to be worn comfortably all day and night if you are on your feet a lot or just wanting a great, lightweight shoe that's made for walking. Perfect for travel. True-to-size and ready to wear right out of the box - Enjoy!

I think that Hokas need to be tried in a store. The Bondi in an 8 1/2 was huge everywhere; the Clifton is too small in an 8 and felt tight on the side at the arch area. Or maybe just not right for my foot. Love the style and color but returning them. Also not used to wearing a sneaker with so much cushion.

I have horrible painful feet problems and a trip to Disneyland made me want to remove my feet. I bought these shoes and wore them the very first day to Disneyland. They are the most amazing shoe I have ever owned.

I loved them but had to return them - I'm used to a heel drop of 7-8mm but LOVE the toe box in this and the cushion but the 5mm made me feel like i was falling backwards - I tried to like them but my back said no. Also do NOT listen about some of the sizing advice - i wear an 8 in Saucony and the sizing thing said size up - no way - an 8 was perfect with plenty of room. Saucony is top toe tight at an 8 - these were not.

Loved the color and was comfortable at first until i wore around house for a while and the upper inside and tongue too close to ankle and started to hurt. Unfortunately had to return

I didn't know my feet could feel this good!! I put the Hoka Clifton 9 on and my heels were supported, my feet felt fantastic, and no knee pain just jogging around the house.

It actually felt wider for me than bondi 8 and worked better for my wide feet.

I'M 72 YRS OLD; FOR 36 YEARS I WAS A FITNESS INSTRUCTOR AND PRIOR TO THAT I WAS A PROFESSIONAL DANCER. I HAVE 2 HIP REPLACEMENTS AND RODS & SCREWS IN MY LOW BACK. MY FOOT IS VERY WIDE WITH HIGH ARCHES---THIS SHOE FITS GREAT AND FEELS GREAT. DON'T SKIMP ON YOUR SHOES; BITE THE BULLET AND SHELL OUT THE BUCKS. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

This is my fourth pair of Hoka Cliftons. They look fantastic and feel good when just standing. I was excited to recieve a new pair for Spring. I thought I had found my go-to shoe to help my issues with stability. I'm sad to return these. However, after I wore them one afternoon, my feet hurt, and my right heel had pain. I don't know if it was the new design with the additional stack, maybe lack of flexibility or what, but it wouldn't be wise for me to keep them. I put my old ones on and immediately felt comfort. I'm disappointed because I love my Hoka Cliftons and have recommended them to numerous people. They just seemed to have too much added features. I don't need added performance; I just need to walk. I gave them an honest test, and they didn't work for me.
