Way too big length wise. Not comfortable

The shoe caused severe pain to my right foot where you have bunion pain. I was not in any pain prior to putting on this shoe. I have plantar fasciitis in my left foot and it did help my left foot. I want to return these shoes.

The quality of this sneaker is not anything like my other Hokas - feel cheap and poorly made.

My last pair of Hokas were Clifton 7’s. I love them and have worn them out. When I got ready to replace them they were no longer available. They have been updated to Clifton 8’s and now 9’s. When I received them they looked nice but different and definitely are not the same fit! They are much stiffer and do not feel comfortable on my feet. I also could not fit my insoles in them, and they are the same size as the Clifton 7’s. I am disappointed and have returned them.

Fit and size good

I thought these shoes would be more grey, but they are actually a light blue/purple color. I was shopping for a neutral color to take with me to Europe, and they are neutral enough. I have historically worn Bondi’s or Speedgoats, and these are equally as comfortable and the sizing is the same. I would recommend this shoe.

Felt great right out of the box. Less cushion than the Bondi and with a narrower toe box which works well for my foot. Very comfortable for walking; looking forward to how they feel with running.

Did not like it very uncomfortable

The fit was true to size the comfort level was very uncomfortable. I was standing in the shoes for about six hours, and I had the worst pain in my ankle back of my legs and back for two full days.

I really needed some nice walking shoes. I hadn't heard of this brand before but was told that they were big sellers. I wanted certain colors also. So after much research, I decided on a pair of pair from Hoka. I went to a store to get a fit for the shoe. Very comfortable! I actually bought the pair a size larger than what I normally wear because I needed more room in the toe box and I have flat feet. The price wasn't too bad given the brand. Zappos is a great online store for shoes!

I’ve worn Hoka’s for years after they were recommended by my doctor after an ankle fusion. This style is okay but I bought the Gaviota last year and those are a lot more comfortable. The Clifton has a slightly more narrow toe box and as someone else mentioned, the tongue on this model comes up a little high on the ankle for long term comfort. Okay for the amount of walking I do but might not be ideal for someone running or walking a longer distance.

I usually buy Hoka Bondi and decided to give Clifton a try. I’ve only worn them once for a 12 hour shift and they felt great. I almost like them more than the bondis. Great looking shoe. Happy with my purchase

Size and fit good , material is nice and I felt comfortable wearing my Hoka shoes.

I love this shoe! It’s soft when standing or walking and gives a little boost when walking.

Size was as expected. Ordered half size up for width. Extremely comfortable and the support is so good my knee stopped aching. This is my second pair in 2 weeks I love them so much.

Thank you Hoka for making a wide shoe. My teen has in grown toenail problems and these shoes work for her feet.

This is my second pair of Hoka Clifton. The bottoms of my first pair started coming off after about 6 months of regular use. Annoying but to be expected when worn around 5-7 days per week for walking/work outs. My current pair (Clifton 9) that I ordered in February already have the bottoms coming off after about 2 months where they were worn less frequently than my first pair. I am currently waiting on the glue to dry so I can get more miles out of them. Super frustrating. I don’t think I will be getting the Clifton again after this pair.

High end feel, very well constructed.

There is nothing wrong with the shoe and I'm sorry I need to return them. Because of the way it's designed, I feel like I'm rocking back on my heels and it's uncomfortable for me.

Good fit comfortable

Pleasantly surprised with how comfortable these shoes are. Like walking on clouds. I have a wide foot and the width is roomy. I usually wear a 10. Due to reviews, I ordered a 10.5 originally. They were way too big so I returned for the 10 and they were perfect.

I want to love this brand but still can’t find a style that feels comfy when walking. This shoe feels like I’m walking on cement! The insoles are so hard! No. I have inserts but I’m looking for a shoe that feels soft in the heel right out of the box, especially for the price of these. The width was good. I can move my toes around in the shoe. I have wide, flat feet. These would have been perfect if the insoles had squishy padding, especially in the heel.
