I've been wearing Cliftons and Bondis pretty much daily for about 5-6 years now. I absolutely LOVE them. I have turned SO many friends and family onto Hokas, and they all love them too. I ordered the same size I've always worn, but they feel too snug. I wore them a few days to see if they would loosen up a bit or if I could get used to it, but it didn't work. I was beyond excited to get a new pair bc I wore mine well beyond their worth. I'm disappointed that the fit is different than my old ones. I also very strongly dislike the little wings that are in the back of the shoe. I don't understand the purpose of them. They look odd. I'm going to return these and try the new version of the Bondis and hope I have better luck.

I have tried a bunch of different brands, different variations of running shoes; but these are the BEST. These shoes are so soft, yet so supportive, not to mention SO LIGHT. My view on running has completely changed. I used to dread running, but since I've gotten these shoes I actually look forward to it and have been running the most miles I ever have!

This is my second pair of cliftons and I am obsessed. Just inserted some orthotics (due to some odd achilles pain that showed up during a marathon earlier this year) but otherwise they are an EXCELLENT training shoe that can handle distance. Love love love.

I have pretty small feet and always worry that shoes won't fit or will fit funny and be uncomfortable. I definitely see what the hype is about Hokas. This is my first pair and they are wonderful. Fit my Cinderella feet perfectly and are so great for long walks. I don't fun anymore so I know that the foot strike is different for running vs. walking, but these are perfect for my needs.

I love the Clifton 9. I purchased 3 pairs this year plus a pair of Speedgoat (my 2nd pair). I love the colors, but more importantly the shoes are comfortable, with great support. People notice the shoes and ask me about them. It is very easy to give a great recommendation.

Very stiff. Might be good for hiking but too stiff for every day.

I love the padding in Hoka, but there is NO arch support. Why have shoe makers stopped building arch support into their product?

Super disappointed with the change from Clifton 8 to Clifton 9. They have changed the length and the weight but not for the better. The upper is higher and now cuts into my ankle and although they are advertised as being lighter in weight than the Clifton 8, I have weighed mine and they are most definitely Heavier. In addition the outer length is about 1 cm longer and they make my feet look huge! Very very disappointed with the change, really hope they redesign the Clifton 10 to be more like the 8 that everyone loved.

I like the Cliftons feel like they are getting lighter in weight. The light blue color will be nice for the summer. I usually wear a size 7 1/2 but order and 8 in Hokas. I wear them to walk and as everyday shoes as I am no longer a runner. After I have worn them for a while, I wish they were a tiny bit more narrow especially in the ball of my foot area. Other than that, I love these shoes and have worn them for years.

They fit perfectly and are so comfortable. It's the only tennis show you don't have to break in. Love the color and have received many compliments at our local YMCA in Jacksonville, Fl. Love them.

I developed a painful case of plantar fasciitis. My heel pain was so intense, I couldn't tolerate wearing my existing shoes and going barefoot was not an option, no support.
After rest, icing, exercises, and ibuprofen I could finally tolerate a tie shoe. Clifton 9 has been the perfect shoe, no pain just comfortable support. I used the Hoka size chart, which indicated I need a full size smaller than I normally wear. Shoes arrived, too small, I returned them at Hoka's expense for a half size larger, perfect fit.

I was recommended to get Hola running shoes by my Podiatrist . I was injured in my foot because I was using running shoes with no enough support so when I ordered these shoes I was hesitant to pay that much but I was able to do it if I knew that I needed . Of course as soon as I walked on them I was able to feel such a support on my feet that didn't feel before . Thanks Hola for creating these shoes for all of us athletes. Also love the colors that I offered

These shoes are so comfortable, I work any where from from 8,10 to 16 hr days and with neuropathy, my feet don't hurt whole lot, and my lower back pain pretty much don't have now. I highly recommend these shoes to my coworkers and any one who are in search of some really comfortable shoes

Loved the shoe but it rubbed against the ankle bone. Ordering a different size wouldn't have made a difference.

This is my 4th pair of Clifton's. My others were the 8's. I now have the 9's and love them even more. I don't run but I do a lot of walking in my daily life. And I needed shoes for back support with 2 bulging discs. After having an epidural for one bulging disc my back pain resided but I was still having lower leg and foot swelling on my left side. I was wearing dress shoes to work and my Hoka's out and about. I had just purchased a pair in December of 23 and hated to buy another pair so soon. But I needed an all black pair for work. So I finally broke down and bought them and have not had any more foot pain. And minimal swelling since

Needed a shoe to help with hip pain before having it replaced. They helped so much and are so comfortable when it comes to walking and impact when moving. Great shoe!

They're perfect for the kind of walking I do -- fast and uphill. I don't run because my joints don't like it but I definitely power walk and they're great for that. My one challenge with them is that my right foot is a size 7 and my left is a 7 1/2, so I have to find ways not to get blisters on my right feet. But that's a me problem, not the shoes.

Hoo, waaaaay too narrow for me, crushed my toes. The pink color is fine, not wild about the pattern though.

Love the shoe for running. Sizing feels accurate and roomy, and they feel light and cushioned. The small apliques on my shoe which are just for decoration, are already peeling off. I've had the shoes for ~2 weeks, disappointed in that quality.

They're different from the 8, and rub on my ankle.
I've used the Clifton for a few years for running but they've changed the measurements slightly from the 8 to the 9 and it rubs so badly on my ankle I can't wear them. If I take the laces out of the top eyelets to accommodate that, then I get heel slippage.
Super disappointing but these are going back.

Initially felt comfortable but after wearing for half the day the toe box felt narrow and hurt the toes. I do not have a wide foot but maybe I should have purchased the wide I'm hoping that I'll break them in as I continue to wear them

My clifton 8 eights had worn out, so I tried the Cifton 9. Although they seemed very comfortable at first, come up a little higher on my foot and continually rub a sore spot that I never had with the Clifton 8s. This is the only downside I have about them. I'm extremely disappointed. The Clifton will be discontinued soon.
