This shoe is comfortable and easy to get into. It accommodates my wide foot and my plantar faciitis.

I bought this shoe for walking and hiking. I was thinking that it was a step in shoe that would be good for air travel. Not so. The heel collapses and the tongue gets hung up in the front. That being said, it's a very comfortable and supportive shoe. It does run a little small so if you're between sizes, you might want to size up.

I have a leg length difference and various back, hip, knee and foot issues as a result. My podiatrist and orthopedic surgeon both recommended Hokas to help reduce pain. I was resistant to spending that much money on a pair of shoes (raised very poor), so my mother-in-law bought them for me. They were very comfortable straight out of the box with no breaking in required. They have helped reduce my chronic joint pain and easily accommodate the heel cup insets I also wear for plantar fasciitis.

Very comfortable. I like that I can control the elastic for making the shoes wider. I do not like the colors. I thought I was buying white on white. What I got is white with pink accents, now my favorite color at all.

Comfy, but too narrow. Also some heel slipping.

Love the style! Cool details. Narrower than my Cliftons and less cushioned but still comfortable for moderate walking. Mine were supposed to be white on white, but they have a strange orange/pink (discoloration) on the sides. I don’t have time to exchange before a trip I bought them for, so I will keep them.

I needed some shoes with comfort that I can wear to work but still look a bit dressy. I love my Hoka’s so I went that direction and ordered these. They fit well but are a bit tight. I wear a 71/2 regular. I wore them all day and my plantar fasciitis and bone spur didn’t hurt at all! I really like these shoes so I hope they stretch out just a bit.

Love the style! Not as cushioned as my Cliftons and a bit narrower. My only complaint is that they are supposed to be white/white but they have a weird pinkish tinge on some areas of both shoes. I don’t know what it is. I don’t have time to exchange before a trip I wanted them for, so I’m keeping them even with the discoloration.

This sneaker is great, I love the color and quality. These are my first pair of Hokas. After reading multiple reviews, I decided to purchase these. I must say that overall, I like them a lot & wearing them often. Two reviewers mentioned 1) the tongue bothering the top of the foot, and 2) one of the sneakers squeaks when I walk. Not enough of an issue to return them, but slightly annoying.

I have wide feet and loved the Gaviota 4 wides- no pressure or toes being pushed together. Tried the Transport in a wide but it was much narrower and caused my big toe to be pushed onto my 2nd toe.. bummer as they are nice looking.

Loved the look of the shoe but the stitching close to the toe rubbed the top of my foot. Must return.

I really like my new Hoka Transport, but comparing them to Bondi 8 they are much harder sole shoes. I would need to order another Bondi 8. They are the better shoe for me. The transport are not bad but the bondi is more of a harder shew.

This is my first pair of Hoka's I purchase. The style is what I liked the most and the fact that both of my BFF's had them made me buy them. I got my regular size 8 but it does feel like I could size down next time. Since I already wore them, I do not intend to return them. I will just keep wearing them until I decide to get a new pair. They are great for walking or taking long trips, my feet don't feel as tired as with my other sneakers when I wear them for a long time.

I would have given them a 5 star rating but I ordered a wide width though they say wide they really aren't. They are still tight on me and hoping they will stretch. They are comfortable and keep feet from hurting while standing or walking on concrete for 5 hours straight. Which is the reason I bought them in the first place.

So far so good they are comfortable I thought they would be big on me but they feel like the right size. Only complain o have is the shoes laces are super long. Would consider buying another pair .

Just like you I read reviews of shoes and use that feedback to make my selections, BUT, I'm also super aware of just how subjective and idiosyncratic our shoe opinions are. So, my subjective experience with the Transport style is that I found it to be a bit too narrow for my feet and I almost always take a medium width. I liked the look of the shoe so much that I tried it in a wide too, and the wide in this shoe fit more like a medium would in other Hoka styles. This shoe has a much more streamlined appearance than most Hokas, the expected Hoka "bounce" and needs a better quality insole if you have high arches like I do. I think this style is probably best suited for those with medium to narrow width feet who are put off by the zaftig look of most Hokas. I'm sad these aren't for me because I like the looks of them so much, especially the Smoky Quartz color, which super on trend and just great looking.

I just bought one pair of hoka transport (regular width) but the problem is that the left foot shoe is a little bit tight on my foot width (narrow) and not the same to the right shoe width (not too tight, just right). My left foot aches after a long walk. Attn Hoka company please check on each shoe- right and left shoe must exact width not tight on foot.
