HOKA's are my go-to shoes for exercise but I am not in love with these. They just don't breathe and your feet get super sweaty very quickly. I bought them because they are recommended for outdoor walking so maybe they are meant to be waterproof??? But I won't purchase these again. I can't wait to take them off when I am finished working out. Feet are either too hot or freezing cold in cold temps because they are wet.

I wear an 8.5 Hoka. The Transport has material that does not stretch - and rubs on the bunion of my left foot. I can't wear them for long periods, ad will not putchase another pair of Transports.

this felt narrower than a typical wide fit on me, but leaving the laces very loose works

I wish I ordered the wide version of this shoe. Its comfortable but because its a little tight on the front it hurts if worn a long time. I used this at work but not anymore. I had to buy a different one.

Don't like ithem as well as the TransportX. They seem narrower and don't seem to have as much 'roll' to them.

These shoes are so comfortable. My feet aren't tired at the end of the day. I just with that the toe area had as much cushion as the rest.

Love how light they are; how comfortable they are; and easy to put on/off. Happy feet!

I have only worn these sneakers one time. So far so good. They are very lightweight and the color was way better than expected. I like the fact that you can switch from laces so slip on. For me, the slip on is easier right now, because I just had knee surgery. I'm purchased these online on sale. Regular price is kind of a hefty price. I have always worn Vionics, so, time will tell.

I've been a loyal Hoka fan for many years. Ordered these bc they said it was a good shoe for pavement. I walk 3-4 miles a day on pavement and so far (5 weeks) I like them a lot.

I love Hoka and have worn them for over 10 years. The Transport is not my favorite. The toe box is too narrow, and I don't have wide feet.

These Transports are exactly what I've been looking for as a low, comfortable and slip on shoe for work. The neutral colors are nice, and can be worn in an office setting.

Ordered my actual size. A little tight on the toe box, it took me 3 all day wears with the thinnest socks I have to make it work. Now it fits like a glove. I use it for work and I walk 90% of the time, no pain. I love that it repels water as it could get a little messy at work sometimes. I also love the style because it's not a typical Hoka shoe bulky titanic ship look. It's just right!

These were a lil big on me so I had to return. I'm hoping the fit gets better with the Clifton's and transports. They are running narrower in both the width and heel. Go back to the 4 series please!!

They hurt at first when I was breaking them in, the area around the arch is very narrow and they should come in wide, I know a large consumer base for these have wide feet (East Asian). So not sure why these didn't come in the wide option.

Very comfortable walking shoes that fit well. Walk daily for 3-5 miles so hope they standup to continued use.

What a gorgeous and unique color! A cross of a deep misty grape, a dark mauve, a touch of brown, a touch of grey just gorgeous! This is also a great shoe. For my foot, not ideal for long distance walks over one half mi, as I do need more cushion (hello Bondi 9!), but excellent for general walking and most errands. Could even turn this into my new house shoebut I think it deserves more exposure. A great buy with the sale. I also appreciate the natural materials incorporated, the good toe box room (I was a little concerned, but it passes), and the great style! Very good looking quality shoe! Love it. If it had just a little more plush to it, for those of us who need it, it would have easily deserved 5 stars.

I wear an 9.5 in UA and Nike and these fit the same. The had more arch support than I was expecting, but were not quite as cushioned as I hoped. The bungee lace makes for easy on and off, plus they have a great everyday style.

I was really excited to grab my second pair of Hokas during Black Friday. My first pair has taken me through anything and everything for the past 5 years and the soles are still holding up really well, they just look a bit ratty now for the nicer casual occasions. For this pair, I wish I would've been able to compare the 9 to the 9.5 as I'm right around there depending on the shoe. I decided to go with the 9.5 / regular width, basic Transport. First off the quality of the shoes feels excellent. The Oak/Alabaster color is true to pictures and looks great (reg laces included are the shoes' body color). I like that the outside is solid (vs breathable mesh)- something I didn't really catch beforehand. I think my toe hits at the appropriate length, any more and I'd worry about it being too tight. The main question I have is in the heel area. Comparing my Hokas, the old pair's heel area has more of a curve - to cup your heel and keep it in place. That's what I was expecting. However, if you notice in the pictures, the heel area on these Hokas have more of a straight up and down build so there is some movement in my heel when moving. It's slight, but I am lowkey concerned it could shimmy socks down when walking. Could it be that it's due to buying 9.5 vs 9? Unfortunately i dont know. The last thing im unsure about is the quick adjust stretchy "laces". It's difficult to get targeted support since it will basically end up equalizing pressure everywhere when tightened. The toe box remains unaffected and roomy, and tightening only partially affects the heel security. I'm debating whether to remove the stretchy lace and do the regular laces, instead, but it appears there's no way to remove the stretchy band without actually cutting it since it's one continuous piece. Ultimately I will be keeping the shoes as I think I can get past these minor issues and make it work, after all, I won't be using them for any extreme activities.

I also have the Hoka Bondi 9's and the Transports are so much more comfortable hands down. I am post surgical x2 for a fractured foot and ankle so good shoes are a must as I transition back to floor nursing. I just wish the black/black came in a wide!

I was able to walk 10,000 steps with the shoes right out of the box...no break in period required! All of my knee and hip pain is gone after wearing these amazing shoes for less than a week....coincidence? I think NOT! These are simply the best athletic shoes that I have ever worn. AMAZING!!!!

I purchased both the 7.5 wide and the 8 wide. My true size is 7.5 wide in other brands. I really liked the style of the Transport; however Hoka does not seem to make their shoes wide enough. I am thinking of trying the Bondi or Clifton that comes in Extra Wide but I am not a fan of the style”shoe rock”. The Transport had minimal “rock” which I also liked. I had to return both pairs.
