I worked in healthcare and have worn these for 16hr shifts, they’re comfortable compared to other shoes I’ve tried to do double shifts in, they seems true to size didn’t need to size up or down, they do look big and bulky on and NO they’re not waterproof

These are good for ankle support but the insides are not cushioned so for those standing on feet for 8 hours I wouldn't recommend..I'll have to try other ones to see how they feel.

I got this pair in the dune colorway. In terms of fit they're fanatic, if you're looking to hike in warmer climates I totally recommend them. However watch out! The photograph shows a deep brown and warm grey color scheme, in real life it's almost a monochromatic gray/purple. Avoid if you're expecting them to be warm toned

These are cool and seem comfortable and like they'd make great hiking shoes. Unfortunately, the ridge on the interior toebox catches my toe with each step, so I never got past the try-on phase.

The mid high provides stability to the ankles during all activities. The 1st day needed some break in but since then the shoes have been great for all my activities. Due to the material of the shoes the sole got damaged pretty easily.

I like the color and functionality of this shoe. I have a lot of pain in my feet and ordered these so I would have something comfortable to hike in. I might have to tighten the laces but overall I am a size 9 and size 9 fits good.

Order at least a half size up - these are a narrower shoe - but once you get the right size, they are super comfortable. A great breathable hiker with lots of cushion on the bottom that gives you energy as you move. I'm hoping HOKA will bring these in Wide widths on the next version, that would make these perfect! Also, these have more style than your average hiking boot, which sometimes can look too utilitarian. Recommended if you are looking for a light weight/breathable hiking boot.

I like these boots. The non gtx makes them much cooler for summer temps. The sole is much softer than Merrell or keen. Lightweight is nice for long hikes. I don't like the cheap laces, too flat makes it hard to grasp.

I fell in love with these shoes immediately. They fit just right. Extremely comfortable. However, I would like a bit more heel support. If the stiff heel cup could extend just a little higher up the back, it would be better for my plantar fasciitis.

The shoelaces are too short! Any experienced hiker knows you need long laces for various lace locking techniques and also for tying double knots. I can barely double knot these. If I decide to keep these I will have to buy replacement laces. For this reason, I’m thinking of returning the boots. Love Hoka running shoes, and these boots seem to have the same level of comfort. I will write to Hoka to see if they can provide me with longer laces (maybe the laces from 3 sizes bigger) before returning.

I really like the feel, cushion good and can still wiggle my toes. Enjoy color I got, raisin/pale mauve. The only reason I put 4 stars is that the shoe laces were to short. Had to buy some others. Please make shoe laces longer on mid shoes. Thank you.

These shoes are comfortable and very cute. They are my go to shoes for travel and leisure.

These fit well but I just didn't like the extended sole of the shoe in the back. It seemed like I might have trouble planting my foot on rocky trails. Also, the sole seemed to soft and flexible for a hiking shoe.

I loved that these shoes were stylish and the tan goes with everything. I also had to walk through some snow and my feet stayed dry so that was a plus. However, for the price I was expecting these to be super comfortable and not cause any foot pain. I put them to the test hiking for miles every day for a week in Utah and my feet were exhausted / hurt after each day. It seems something is off with the arch area of Hoka hiking boots. I don't have any special arch requirements and can wear any shoes but something just felt weird in the inner arch area of these shoes. They also came untied often, so I'd recommend double knotting them for long hikes. Overall, they are nice but not worth the price for the level of comfort you get.

A breathable hiking boot is exactly what I've been waiting for from HOKA. This one looks and feels great. It has everything I want in a bootgreat cushion, breathability, grippy sole, and durable upper. I have two complaints: 1. They need to offer a wide version. This boot feels narrow in the toe box/forefoot. 2. The threading/seam that runs across the the forefoot from the tongue/laces to the midsole across big toe joint was bothersome on one boot. Otherwise, these have so much potential. The size is very true. I returned mine simply because I I'd be better off with a wide version if they made it. The boot was quite comfortable around the house, but I had my doubts about hiking 10 miles in them without a little more width in the toe box. They are very cute, if that matters to you! Many will love this boot, I just like a little extra breathing room for my toes.

These hiking shoes are narrow up in the forefoot area. Even though I am a solid B width, I find myself wishing there was more toe spread room. You can even see by the picture how narrow looking they are. These could also use more cushion up front. Why all the cushion in the back, and then ignore the front? I feel like I am almost walking on nothing up front. Love the ankle height and style, but needs to be fine tuned

I do not have wide feet. I measure a solid B. While I fit into theses boots, I have no toe spread. This is a hiking boot and one should have room in the forefoot. I have no idea why Hoka would design a boot/shoe like this. This being said, I ordered the GTX version of the Anacapa and there was a lot more room in the forefoot. So, either these Anacapa Breezes need to play catch up to the GTX version, or I just ended up with a bum pair. I do not think this is the case though, because even the website pictures make the forefoot and toe area look narrow. I lave the weight and the ankle height of these boots as I have weak ankles. Everything else is great except the narrowness up front.

Purchased these shoes to chaperone my daughter's outdoor school sleep away camp for three days. The soles did not hold up very well even on the first day, seemed like the sides were scratching off and getting big gashes. They were comfortable for all day wear. I would not recommend these for the money. Shoe size is TTS.

I loved this shoe but I got a defective one and by the time I was able to first wear them it was too late to return. So now I have an expensive hiking shoe that I really liked, but I can't lace them up they they are they are defective.

I wish I could keep these. The color sand is gorgeous. But the ankle support has so much padding that it's very bulky there. They are comfortable, like walking on clouds, if you don't mind the bulky ankle support, it's a great boot.

Buying online is always a gamble. I needed a pair of high-quality hiking shoes for a pilgrimage I'll be walking in August. I decided to try out the high-top style. They arrived quickly, and I tried them on and walked around the house in them. I thought the high tops would provide extra stability for my ankles, but I just really didn't like them rubbing against the front of my legs. I could tell that the same shoe in a low-profile design would probably suit me much better. I simply returned the shoes, exchanged them for the Anacapa Breeze Low design, and I'm good to go. The return/exchange was super easy, and I DO really like the Anacapa Breeze Low shoes.

Loved this shoe. It had fantastic style with great comfort/arch support. However, the metal piece on the ankle was in the worst place and was extremely uncomfortable, no matter which socks I wore. They were so close to perfect, but had to return them because of that feature.
