I measure 25.4cm so I'm a women's US 9. But when I take the insole out I actually don't have that much room. So I have actually had them stretched by a local cobbler for five bucks and now they're perfect. I've just ordered a womens US10 gtx (goretex) version of these too. It is literally only 8mm longer (less than one centimetre). Which then should give me my thumbs width at the end when I put my foot on the insole. (Don't think your thumb at the end when you have the boot on will work, it won't) Take the insole out put your foot on it and make sure you have room at the end and the width too. If it's too narrow the men's version I believe is an inch wider, if I had ordered the men's I would have ordered a men's 9. Honestly If you want to walk for long periods you need that room for foot swell and for your toes to spread. Apart from that these are by far the most grippy and comfy boots I have ever had. I have skinny ankles and feet and lots of metal in my right foot. So comfy. Hope this helps.

I generally wear Merrell boots for outdoor walking, but these are my new favorite! Great quality, super comfortable, & lightweight. I will be getting additional pairs!

My 1st pair of Hokas and they are now my favorite shoe! Bought these to go hunting in South Africa. I've been wearing them prior to the trip. I'm confident they are going to be amazing.

Seemed to fit well at first but after an hour both my big toes started to feel tender. I've had the happen before so immediately took them off to prevent bruising under the nail. I'm not sure why it happens with some shoes. I have other pairs of HOKA's with no issues.
I gave a 5* because the shoe is great and customer service made it very easy to exchange

Love the Ancapa Breeze shoes. I wear them for eight hours a day, five days a week, in a wide range of outdoor conditions, including heat, cold, and varying terrains like trails, dirt, sand, and pavement. Even after a long day, my feet feel comfortable and energized. I also appreciate the high-top design for added stability and protection.
Shoe is not waterproof. My feet get wet in rain or snows.

I just bought my second pair of these shoes and I'm so excited about getting to wear them. My job requires a ton of walking and these boots truly help me get through the day with little to no foot pain. I've tried 3 other types of hoka shoes both regular tennis shoes and one other type of boot and while those were just okay the anacapa breeze are hands down my favorite.

I really enjoy my mid top HOKA shoes. They provide excellent ankle support and work with my feet for 12 hours each day. I love them! I highly recommend them!

Even though they are a hiking type boot, I use them primarily for walking. I like the ankle support. Hoka came highly recommended by my podiatrist. I was disappointed when just a few days after purchasing them straight from the HOKA sight, they sent me an ad for the same boot for $40.00 less. Am waiting to hear if they have an adjustment policy so that I may get the difference back.

I have owned my pair of HOKAs for several years. My 26-year-old daughter, who is the one who introduced me to the brand, now has two pairs. Knowing how comfortable they are, I recently purchased the Anacapa Breeze Mid for my 18-year-old daughter who has significant physical and cognitive impairments. She hates wearing shoes and is always taking them off on the school bus or in the classroom. The Anacapa provides support around her ankles, making it difficult for her to take them off. She has been much more mobile at school since she started wearing them and does not even try to take them off! She is nonverbal so she can't say what she thinks of her new Hokas, but the fact that she is walking more at school and doesn't even try to take them off tells me that she finds them to be comfortable. I am very happy with my purchase.

The most important is that this boot is very breathable. The sole is thick enough for me to travel around walking on different surface. The top is high and protective without making my ankles uncomfortable. I am buying this shoe for my healing foot. It serves the purpose 70%. My affected foot still feels hurt or tired after walking for an hour.

I have searched for years for a hiking shoe/boot that would work for my narrow, high arched feet. After 5-6 miles with numerous brands my feet would be killing me even with a variety of expensive arch support inserts. Just finished a 9 mile hike in these & my feet don't hurt! Thank you! I will be getting another pair as a backup.

The first time I wore these for a long hike, I brought other shoes just in case. I didn't even think about the other shoes the entire day. These boots are so comfortable right away and require no break-in period. The high top keeps me from rolling my ankles and the sole is responsive on all terrains. New favorite hiking boot!

I really like the feel of these boots. Much easier to slip my feet into than my last pair of Hokas. The only downside might be, that I develop a hole usually in fabric covered shoes, and the last pair had leather covering more of the toe area.

I bought these for a trip to Utah, and for my first time hiking ever. I love them so!! much!! They are super lightweight, grippy, no blisters, and they don't make my feet hot, even after hours long hikes. I am in general a size 7 and the 7's fit me perfect, although if you are a thicker sock wearer I would maybe size up a little. I have narrow feet and so cannot comment on the width, they fit wonderfully.

I currently have a torn ligament in my ankle and severe arthritis in the same ankle at 45 so I needed something with decent support for an upcoming vacation in the mountains. I've been wearing these around the house to break them in but they honestly just feel like supportive tennis shoes: not too heavy, not too stiff, just the right amount of support. So happy with this purchase!

I have a pair of Mid GTX hokas I wore all winter with snowshoes. Too hot for summer so I bought the Breeze Mid in the same size. I'm happy to say I really like them and they are much cooler to wear. Lighter weight than my KEENS which I usually buy. The hokas are more expensive than most shoe brands but for me, comfort is everything.
I'd also recommend:
Keen, New Balance, merrel
