I deliver packages for a living and so far my feet are comfy all day long. Depending on how this shoes hold up I might be buying another pair.

I ordered this in 11, the size I normally order from HOKA, but it was a tad small. Returned it for 11.5 and it fits perfectly.

Nice and snug fit with nice cushion making it easy to walk the trail with my sensitive feet. I stepped in a puddle and they are definitely water proof.

These must be the most comfortable and light runner ive had on my feet. Just did my second 5k and in the rain. They are smooth and quiet on pavement. They jack me up to 5,8 and i like that. I wear these for running only.

Generally the overall fits was good. The only problem that affected the fit for me in both sizes 11 and 11.5 is the low toe box which put pressure on the top and sides of the big toe.

I use this product by wearing it on my feet. Can't believe this was a question.
Great product, wear it every time I go to work.
The only down fall is the cheap insoles in an expensive sneaker.
I change the insoles to cloud insoles.

Great shoes, and in Gore Tex which I wanted. But they are slightly narrower than the size 14 Challenger8 which fit smewhat better. Challenger 8 unfortunately not available in Gore Tex.

the fit is a little small. i should have bought next size larger. the shoes feel great otherwise. i did make a mistake by not reading the product description fully in detail. i was aware the shoes had spike like soles, but failed to comprehend that the spikes were steel. i thought they were just hard plastic.

I ordered an 8 1/2 EE because my left foot has widened with age. The shoe is very snug, perhaps an intentional design for running shoes. It is not plush enough for my plantar fasciitis, but is still wearable. I will try an aftermarket footbed to soften the impact area.

I loved the look and styling but the toebox was too narrow and the material was hard with no give in the toe area.

I've had these shoes for over a year now and I run 3 to 4 days per week, on the pavement and dirt trails. They provide extreme cushion and comfort. My only issue would be that they are not very water resistant, but I don't believe they're supposed to be. Don't run in puddles and you will love these shoes. Ordering my second pair right now: men's Hoka Challenger ATR 7 GTX size 10.5D US.

Toe area is a little tight. Heel area very rigid. Its been very cold here and have not walked a lot of miles with these shoes and I sometime need quite a bit of time to break in new shoes.

I wanted so much for these Hokas to be great. I bought rhe gtx due to often walking in wet grass during the Spring and Summer here in Florida. This is my 3rd pair of Hokas, having previously worn Arahis and currently Bondi 8, both standard width D, the Bondis being extremely comfortable albeit a little clunky.
Having had the Challengers only a week, worn them once and unfortunately they are not at all comfortable with the toe box being overly tight and narrow on the toes causing discomfort during both running and walking. Length is OK.
I will be returning the Challengers.
I was hoping to exchange for Clifton 9s gtx but Hoka does not have any in wide width so maybe will go with Skyflow or Bondi 9 and add waterproofing spray.

I tried this on and was very disappointed. I have had trouble with last few Hoka Gore-tex shoes. Last year I tried the Speedgoat GTX and had to return them because they hurt my feet. So far the comfort on a pair of the newly designed Bondi 9 Wide in size 10.5 have been very comfortable. So maybe I need a wider shoe now. The toe box in these Challenger 7 GTX shoes were way too tight and felt constricting and uncomfortable immediately.

I had high hopes for the Hoka Challenger 7, but unfortunately, it has been a major disappointment. I've worn these shoes consistently for about two weeks, and they have not lived up to expectations in terms of comfort or performance.
Heel Pain and Discomfort
One of the most glaring issues is the lack of support around the heel area. After a short time wearing these, my heels started to hurt significantly. This discomfort persisted even after adjusting the laces and insoles to try to improve the fit.
Toe Box Issues
Another issue is the toe box. While initially the fit seemed okay, extended use caused my little toes on both feet to feel cramped and sore. The pressure in this area becomes unbearable during longer wear, making these shoes unsuitable for all-day use or extended runs.
Cushioning Isn't Enough
Despite being marketed as a cushioned, all-terrain shoe, the midsole didn't feel supportive or plush enough for me. Instead of the smooth, comfortable ride I expected, the shoes felt stiff and unresponsive, especially on harder surfaces.
Overall Experience
I really wanted these shoes to work, but they've only caused discomfort and pain. For a premium brand like Hoka, I expected much better in terms of fit, support, and performance. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the Challenger 7, especially for runners or anyone looking for reliable, comfortable footwear.
While they look good and the outsole seems durable, the lack of comfort completely outweighs any positives. I'll be returning these and looking for a better option elsewhere.

Bought these for a half marathon and that worked out great. Shoe is Gortex so I brought it with me to the Philippines where it is great for hiking and everyday use in the rainy season. Comfortable and durable. Very satisfied.

I love the styling and how my color choice fits into my wardrobe! I use them for work and I absolutely love the energy return and arch support the shoes offer. I have a low arch yet I get support.

I'm a mailman and have been using hoka for years. They are always really comfortable. These however are not. They are waterproof and the quality is there, but wish I hadn't accidentally bought the wrong model

Nuce but same level of cushion as the speed goats. Was looking for more. Returned these for the Mafatas. Color seems darker green on the web site.

Purchased online without trying them on. I'm on my third HOKA shoe so I thought these would be just as good as the others I have owned. VERY stiff and just uncomfortable. I thought maybe I just needed to break them in a bit. Few weeks in and not getting any better but now I'm stuck with expensive running shoes I just cant wear. Not sure what happened but this model is just terrible, actually hurt my feet. Was a loyal customer but now I need to switch brands, disappointing.
