Nice lite shoe

I use them for running .

Working 14 hr overnight shifts as an emergency doctor, it was difficult to find shoes that staplyed comfortable for that long. Until I found Hoka's Clifton 9's and Bondi 8's.

Feel in the cloud while walking

I use them for walking long distance up and down hills. Very comfortable. Great cushioning. Prefer them over the Brooks and On that I had been wearing.

I bought these for walking and jogging, updating my old Clifton 7s. When I put them on, I feel like I'm walking/jogging on marshmallow clouds! They seem lighter with more cushion and I just love them!

Wow, that's all I can say is wow. I just started running again after many years away from it. The first thing I did was go to my local running shoe store and get fitted so I could get the proper shoe fit that I needed. If you've never been properly fitted and I'm talking about stepping on an electronic scale that measures your feet length, width, arches, etc. then I would highly recommend it. I've been buying size 11D for forever when my proper shoe size is a 10.5 2E. Let me tell you, it makes a huge difference when you find the right fit. I also found out that I have high arches and that both of my feet are exactly the same size. I also found out I need a neutral shoe. All that aside, I tried on shoes from New Balance, Brooks and these Hoka Clifton 9's. I knew as soon as I tried them on and stood up in them that I was gonna be running in Hoka Clifton's from here on out. I can't even describe how awesome these shoes are. I can't comment on longevity yet, but I'm thoroughly pleased with them so far. These are a good neutral shoe that strike a nice balance between cushion and responsiveness. They've made my start back into running again a pleasant experience.

Eventually these shoes will be too thick for my taste, but I think they still look great this generation and are as comfortable as you expect from Hoka. I use these for walking around town and use lesser-cushioned shoes for running and workouts. Love the Hoka wide fit.

Great shoe no complaints here great for walking on concrete all day.

The fit is perfect, they are comfortable and probably the lightest shoes I have ever worn.

This is my first pair of Hoka shoes, and I'm glad I tried them! They are incredibly comfortable - I had no issues with them straight out of the box. Plenty of cushion, but they're plenty responsive in my opinion. Definitely a comfortable pair of shoes for all my workout needs.

I've worn clifton for years now and they are definitely my favorite. Clifton has been a huge part of my running journey. I used the clifton 8 when I first started running and now I'm wearing my clifton 9 for my runs. They are great on the feet! I used them for work as well. I work in healthcare where I have to walk and stand for hours but thanks to my clifton, I can still go for a run right after work without my feet hurting. I would definitely purchase another one when I wear down my current one.

The fit, cushioning, response and feel of this shoe is exceptional even after a 10+ mile day. There were no sore spots and next day recovery was minimal on the joints. This is a well designed and executed shoe.

I use this product for walking. I like cloud like features while wearing this product.

I purchased the Clifton 9's for my dad for Father's Day. He is a a fan of Nike / Skechers sneakers but to my surprise he really liked the Hoka Clifton 9. He finds them to be very comfortable and great for walking.
