This is a good shoe. It dells liking walking on clouds they are so soft. The shoe fits to size and the mesh material allows it to breath. They are not the prettiest shoe on the market but they are the most comfortable.

This Is my second pair of HOKA shoes , the first being the Transport. While they are both excellent for all day comfort and walking, I favor the Clifton 9's because they are very cushy and still perfectly supportive. HOKA shoes were recommended to me by a Marine Brother who still runs Marathons in his mid 40's. The style of HOKA shoes has improved a lot over time and they have great color selection.

As usual, I'm very happy with my new Hokas. They have been supportive and fit well. Unfortunately I accidentally ordered two pairs of men's shoes first. The website needs to differentiate men's and women's Hokas. Otherwise it was a good experience.

Great shoes. A women's 9 was too small, 9 wide was too big, 9.5 too big, but a men's 8 is perfect! So comfy!

Perfect fit and comfort. Definitely over-priced compared to other equally qualified sneakers.

I'm trying something new. I have always worn a size 9 but this time I ordered a 9 1/2. My gait seems to make my big toe go up and my toes wind up hurting. So, even though I have plenty of room in a size 9 while standing, the size 9 1/2 I ordered is just what I needed. These sneakers run on the wider side of normal which is perfect for me. (A wide shoe is generally to large.) Extremely comfortable! I'm still trying them out as far as long-term wear. I usually wear a doctor-made orthotic because of pronate walk (fallen arches.) I have not put the orthotic in these sneakers yet and have not yet had pain in my arch area. I can sometimes go without the orthotics for a bit of time, so we will see if I do or do not need to go back to using the orthotic. I like the removable insole for that purpose. I do know one thing for sure: I am more comfortable walking in these sneakers than in my bare feet, and that's a first!

I have bad arthritis, and these are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. They are still new to me, and I am hoping they last. I seem to wear out the bottom of my shoes quickly due to the way I walk.

Shoes are very comfortable and light. Ordered men's size to get the wider width than women's. I have issues with feet swelling and these shoes are the most comfortable I have found.

The excellent cushioning helps with achy old joints. The great arch support helps with the flatfoot fatigue.

6th pair of Clifton's. They're tried and true. Never disappoint with their comfort right out of the box. 12.5 EE is lighter than the Clifton 8s I had. Tried a Bondinfor the first time, they were way too heavy and bulky for running. As long as Hoka continues a Clifton and doesn't steer away from the bases of it, I'm a customer for life

I started using Hoka Cliftons years ago when I began training for my first ultramarathon. I couldn't seem to get past 50 miles a week without incurring overuse injuries before the clifton. A friend recommended the Clifton to me and I was finally able to overcome my mileage barrier. The Clifton 9 has held true to form and provides the cushion I need for long runs without overdoing it. So far, I've noticed that the Clifton 9 seems to have more cushioning but I they don't seem heavier. The tongue and back of the shoe also make the Clifton 9 really easy to put on. Pros: 1. Great cushioning, you will notice a difference if you have foot pain from overuse. 2. Good light feel for heel-strike and mid-foot runners like myself.. I imagine it works well for other runners too. 3. Style. The Clifton 9 in "Coastal Sky" has earned many complements and appears less bulky than past versions of the Clifton Cons: 1. Wear. I start to notice a difference in the cushioning level around 220-250 miles. The amazing cushioning comes at the price of replacing shoes more frequently. I was hesitant at first but after dealing with so many overuse injuries I just made the decision to buy nice shoes and haven't looked back. 2. Traction. I wouldn't recommend the Clifton for runs on slick and steep terrain. Stick to a trail shoe if you are running in mud/slick rock.

I have bought 10 pairs of hokas in my life so far, this is my 5th pair of Cliftons. This is also my favorite clifton so far from the design to the shape to the comfort it's an amazing shoe. I'm 28, 155 lbs and I comfortably clock 500 miles in my cliftons specifically using them for running. They are comfortable enough to wear for any type of run though I switch to my carbons for race day.

Excellent running and walking shoe! I have limited miles on them but they are awesome! So comfortable and plush. I haven’t had a more comfortable running shoe since my Clifton 3s. I retired my Clifton 8s early because these are so comfortable! I have 2 pair, one I run in and the other are my casual shoes (Black) they look very nice. I highly recommend the Clifton 9s.
