I work Security and these shoes lasted 2 months - A hole in the heel. Shoes costing above $150 that can’t last more than 2 months - I would give a 0 star rating if I could!

I ordered the Anacapa Breeze Mid online and as soon as they arrived I tried them on and while lacing them up, the top lace lock broke off. I returned the first pair, gave them another shot and ordered a second pair. I really wanted to like this shoe. I receive the second pair and when I laced them up, the lace lock broke again! Two pairs in a row had the same defect. I thought Hoka had higher quality standards than this.

I have plantar fasciitis in both feet and see my podiatrist regularly. I walk/hike 4-5 miles every other day and often sleep with a support boot on. I wear the Bondi 8 when walking on asphalt. These boots, with an added insole I like, are excellent. They get used on uneven grassy terrain, lava and they're even good on asphalt. The ankle support is good and so far the waterproofing has been 100%. I am really happy with these.

These are by far the most comfortable duty boots I've purchased. Very cushioned sole and lightweight. They feel like comfortable tennis shoes. Absolutely love them.

I just got mine today and so far so great. The fit is great (I took a size larger than normal based on prior experience with HOKA speedgoats and these feel fine and very comfortable. I have other Goretex boots but wanted a lighter, more breathable boot for hot walks in the desert. I will be trying them in the desert this weekend but first impressions are great.

Hoka makes the best boots for hiking, period. These are no exception. Light, comfortable, rugged. Just a solid hiking boot all around. Now for the "heads up": These shoes run EXTREMELY large. I always go a half size down from what I normally order from other shoe makers (Nike, Adidas, etc...). With these, I had to go a FULL size down from what I normally wear in other non-hoka shoes. If you have ordered Hoka's before, definitely go a half size down from your normal Hoka size. If you're going from say, a Nike, to this shoe, go a full size down.

Why have I waited so long to buy a pair of these?! These are ridiculously comfortable and light for a boot. I've had 2 hip replacements and finding a good hiking shoe that has cushion and stability has been a long search. I've either had one or the other but not both. I can walk all day at work and my feet don't get tired and my hip isn't screaming at me by the end of the day. Awesome job Hoka, you just gained a customer for life!!

I've had just a single pair for a little over a year and a half, and the things have been bulletproof. Honestly did not expect them to last as well as they have, even for the price. California, Utah, Colorado, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Tanzania they've been through the wringer and they're still comfortable and going strong. Best Hokas I've had, out of 7 or 8 pairs now. Very comfortable, extremely breathable, and easy to get on and off. Once this pair inevitably wears out, I'll be buying another one for sure.

I am on my feet at conventions & trade shows for 15-16 hours a day during events and always struggle at the end of the week with 30,000 steps each day piling up strain on my feet. These shoes have completely eliminated that issue for me and I'm tempted to buy a backup pair because I can't imagine not wearing them for these events anymore. Some of the stitching on the upper layer has become a bit frayed, but nothing serious enough to damage the structure and can easily be clipped/burned down so they still look clean and solid. Love these things.

And a full hike to get used to them but they're perfect. I was worried they'd be too thick on the top but they molded a bit, pants can fit over them if needed. Or a double roll ? Both work.

I use this pair of shoes just about every day. Totally comfortable and fits like a glove. Use the shoe to walk at a quick pace with my dog. Usually go for three miles within 35-40 minutes. I bought a size 10.5 which is my normal shoe size. No slippage at all within the shoe. As of now, best shoe I've ever purchased.

I now use them dailynot just for hikingand they continue to perform great. I will definitely buy from HOKA again!

These are honestly the best most supportive show I've bought in years. Broken ground walking, jogging, and flat out running are stable and comfortable. The fit is wonderful. Even the lacing is easier with slipping on off. Love these. Hoka, please make more models with a higher ankle.

I am experiencing ankle/ achilles issues. My podiatrist, also a Hoka fan suggested trying a mid. told her that Hoka doesn't make a wide mid, she didn't believe me until she checked and confirmed no wide mids. She then suggested going 1/2 size larger. I did and lo and behold the mid Anacapa breeze in 12.5 fits well I find it comfortable. I still wish Hoka would make mid wides because I think if I want a gore tex, a fabric that is not as soft as the breeze won't give me the fit Im wanting.

I wear cowboy boots daily for work, but lately, they've been rough on my feet. I decided to try something different and picked up the Hoka Anacapa Breeze Midand honestly, I was immediately impressed. For the first two days, they were perfect. Super comfortable right out of the box, lightweight, and really breathable. It was such a relief for my feet. Unfortunately, by day three, I started noticing a squeaking noise in the left boot, like there was an air pocket in the sole. I tried removing and reinserting the insole, and while that helped for about an hour, the squeak came back. It's a bit of a bummer because the comfort and performance otherwise were excellent. I'm currently in the process of returning/exchanging them, hoping it was just a fluke with this pair. If the replacement doesn't have the same issue, I'd easily give these 5 stars.

So far I have only used these around the house getting a feel for them. My wife and I intend to do some light hiking around the Las Vegas countryside this summer. These will certainly do the job.
