Lightweight and comfortable. I'm on my get a lot and I've had less pain at the end of the day. I just hope these shoes last a long time for the money they cost. Friends have said they never last long.

So, my son and I went to the mountains his summer and he forgot his hiking boots. I gave him mine and I wore my Hoka running shoes. After using them for the entire weekend I couldn't believe how well my feet felt. After getting back home I looked to see if Hoka made hiking boots and was pleasantly surprised to find out that they did. I ordered a pair and have been using them for the last couple of weeks. I will be getting rid of all my other hunting/hiking boots as these boots are far more comfortable and better than any of the other boots I have. I HIGHLY SUGGEST GIVING THEM A TRY!

I bought these because they are the closest thing you have to hightops. They are light and breath. I need the ankle support due to a surgery and these fit the bill. I wear these as an everyday shoe and am super impressed with the comfort. The only thing I could think of that would be better is a hightop Clifton 9. (For a less aggressive tread)

I hike everywhere and these shoes are the best I've ever put on my feet. These are my 3rd pair and when these wear out, I'll buy another

Hoka is the one company that makes a quality hiking boot that's doesn't have all the waterproofing. I walk 5-8 miles a day delivering product in the Texas heat. I was looking for a hiking boot with ankle support without all the GoreTex stuff. Luckily, I found these! No complaints so far.

The anacapa breeze mid is exactly what I was hoping for. I hike in Southern California, so for a significant portion of my year Goretex simply gets too sweaty to be comfortable. At the same time, I prefer the feeling of a boot to the exposed ankles of a trail runner. This is the perfect balance for me. The anacapa breeze mid stays cool in the sun, it feels stable and has kept its grip on any incline or terrain I've traversed in it. My feet stay dry throughout a long hike in the San gabriels I truly hope they never stop making these because I probably won't wear any other boots when the sun is out

I'm on my feet all day and the shoes are comfortable and breathable. Shoe laces are not that great! But overall comfort. Will recommend to others!

Very well made boot. Sturdy and very comfortable. Sole of the boot is sturdy and good even on concrete flooring. Lightweight and experience few days of fatigue considering wearing them for 12hrs a day. Definitely will buy another pair.

Great show but why are shoe companies cutting it short by including shoe laces that barely work????

I had never done any real hiking, other than being in USMC, as I live in Florida. Friend talked me into doing Savage Gulf 25K Ruck Race. Found these for the race. I'm pretty sure they saved my life many times and prevented many ankle injuries as that race is no joke!

These shoes are super light, very stable for the ankles and responsive on uneven terrain. All time best shoe I have ever owned and that's coming from a guy who has over twenty different types of footwear on hand at all times based upon weather and terrain conditions.

This is by far the best (and most expensive) athletic shoe I've owned. I know it's supposed to be a hiking shoe, but I primarily use them in the gym and for going on walks/short hikes. Amazing comfort, stability and support. My feet don't hurt at the end of the day, and my knees and hips feel a lot better too. My only complaint is the 4 hook-lace eyelets at the ankle. They're more cumbersome and inconvenient than anything. Should have stuck with conventional eyelets all the way.

Exactly what I was looking for. I'm a disabled vet and very active 46 year old. After knee reconstruction, hip replacement and putting off back surgery, I've tried multiple brands of hiking shoes and boots. I thought finding a good, comfortable hiking/ hunting shoe was impossible but these changed my mind. Thank you HOKA. I will recommend Anacapa to everyone.

I love my Anacapa Breeze. They're very comfortable and I literally forgot about my plantar fascia pain. They are very light despite their size. My only minor concern is the length of the shoelaces. They are a bit too short.

Just put them on for the first time and they are some of the most comfortable footwear that I can remember wearing. They definitely take the pressure off my lower back when I walk and that is the primary reason I bought them. They already fell broke in and comfortable. I've tried on several pair of Hoka's and recommend to buying a pair that are one size bigger. I usually wear a size 12 but bought a size 13 and they feel perfect.
