The look has a definitely changed, the heal feels great but one thing you might have noticed is the "all gender" shoe sizing. I'm a 10.5 traditionally in every nano since the beginning. I went with these because the Nike always ran too narrow and the nanos had a great toe box which made them perfect for lifts allowing your toes to expand. The upper felt great on the instep and top of the toe area.
**** IF YOURE EXPECTING THE SAME INSTEP AND TOE BOX ON THESE YOU WILL BE FINDING YOURSELF IN A MORE SNUG SITUATION. My foot is in between and D and DD width size which made the 10.5 great for me, I had to size up a half size to make these work and they still feel a little too snug. Definitely a huge change as I haven't considered another brand of shoes because the nanos have reliably fit me and stayed consistent but the x3's are making me think about trying TYR brand which I know have a wider toe box. I hope they are able to figure out the proper solution to sizing and overall fit issue because these may possibly be the last nanos I purchase until they do.
I will say this, they look awesome design wise, I got the black and gum colored bottoms. They have a great fit on the heal and the material on the tung of the shoe is very confortable. The quality is there however the toe box area is a huge shift from previous models and may not be right for people who have chosen this shoe isn't the past for the slightly wider toe box and non flexable materials making.
Also why do women have their own x3's and has the all gender shoe some how changed the way they structure the shoe? I noticed they they don't have specific ones for men and sizing that does not have female equivalent sizing in.

I had to order a smaller size than I normally do. The biggest issue I have with these is the heel slips out even when they are laced very tight and the correct size. I wish they made the heel of the shoe to wrap up and around your Achilles a little better.
I'd also recommend:

Lots of hype and marketing done here but falls short on comfort. I can't speak on the quality or durability because I returned them. Hard sole, inflexible rubbed my ankles raw and very narrow toe box.

I was testing multiple “cross training” shoes and these fit the best with tue right amount of cushion.
It worked out for me because I have narrow feet, but these are narrow shoes.

While the heel feels nice and supportive and I love this upper material, the shoes run a half size big. Nanos seem to go back and forth. Come on Reebok let's pin the sizing down.

Nano X3 (All Blue), i really love what reebok is doing in the fitness world.its a solid shoe with a decent price compared to other Brands (I have tried them all).i have tried the Speed Tr, Speed Tr 2, legacy lifters and these nano X3 are no different solid shoe, great design, color ways are great. comfy, got a wide toe box for doing the lifts you need. and fits true to size. you can use them for everyday walking or a run or CrossFit workouts. i do recommend them after some heavy workouts ill update with how they hold up, but if its like any other reebok fitness shoe they should last a long time.

I use this product 5 days a week during CrossFit workouts. They are comfortable, have a wide toe box, and are made of quality material. Extremely happy with this purchase!

I use these for functional training and weight lifting. They're nice and flat but still has a minor amount of cushion to stay comfortable. The color is fun too. #sweepstakes

Lighter than most of the previous Nano’s I’ve owned but still have the same stable base.

He is pretty picky and does his research on shoes he will be using for his workouts. He really likes these so far. He was a big fan of the nano 2s so these worked perfect. Ordered 1/2 size smaller than previous pair.

Fantastic shoe. My wife and I are avid Crossfitters. She never wanted Nanos because everyone had them. I finally bought her a pair and she is hooked. Perfect shoe for lifting, box jumps, rope... love.

Switched from Metcons to these and I love them. My one complaint is they hit the ball of my ankle and they're stiff. I imagine they'll soften over time. These are great for running as well as lifting. Great looking shoe too.

I was so hesitant to purchase these because I love my nanos from past years. I had a few pairs that I would rotate and they just fit so well. Seeing the new style really made me question whether or not they would fit the same and feel as good. I was intrigued by the added running benefit and I was not disappointed! These fit in all the right places and are so comfortable to get me from race day training to lifting to cardio at the gym. Truly the best cross trainer I ever purchased

I previously purchased these in a men's 7/women's 8.5 which is usually what I wear in athletic shoes but they were too big. I then bought the 6.5 and they fit well. I love these for CrossFit.

I've mainly used MetCons, but I wanted to try out the Nano. The sizes tend to run really small and the shoes are narrow. FYI. The first pair I ordered had a ripped eyelet hole which is disappointing. The second pair I've used 3 times so far. Comfortable sole but I'm only lifting. No jogging. I'd recommend

I tried these on at a Flagship store in NYC because of curiosity. I had been hearing some not so favorable reviews about this shoe such as sizing too small and stiffness. In my practical observation they fit like a glove even better than the Nano X2. The toe box is more snug. The Mid foot is about the same. The heel may be a slightly roomier. The shoe did squeak a bit when i walked and jogged in place. I laughed, because it sounded like i was walking on Fall leaves crushing and sloshing though not discouraging. This was on sale at the Reebok store for less and not on the website. I will Purchase ASAP from Store.

This is my 4th generation of nanos I have owned. I thought I could depend on Reebok's nanos to have a good size toe box. I really wanted the all white one so I accepted the higher price thinking it would be worth their usual quality. Unfortunately, they let me down. It's a good 1/2 inch narrower then my last generation (black in the photo)! You can see the difference with the black shoe under the white where they are lined up flush on one side. Since the toe box size is a make or break for training shoes, I won't be wearing these to train. I wore them outside already and in the gym to try them out so I won't be returning them but I also will only wear these casually if my feet can tolerate them. It's sad that shoe brands are going for looks over quality. News flash, comfort and health of our feet are in. Stop pushing narrow shoes down our throats. Anyhow, I tried to spoke with customer service. All they did was push an exchange for a bigger size on me, which I politely explained why that wasn't going to work for me and asked more than once what the toe box size was and if the women's or men's were any different then the unisex I purchased. Eventually, they said they would look into it and I should expect an email from them personally in 48 hours. That was a few weeks ago now and no email. This will be my last Reebok shoe I'll be buying it seems.

Why do shoe companies insist on changing good shoes that have a huge following for something so different?
So far off the mark from where nanos started.
Not only are these narrow in the toe, they are a very low volume shoe. The whole thing is down right tight around my entire foot.
The only thing I kinda like about the shoe is how the heal feels… However, they are being returned due to what I would describe as how a climbing shoe should fit.

These Nanos look so cheap and tacky. The shoelaces are the worst shoelaces on a shoe that I've ever seen. I have the Nano X and those are so much better quality. I will be returning these.

These were a gift for husband but unfortunately nanos aren't as comfortable as they used to be. I had to return them because the fabric on top pinches the top of my husband feet

Bought these to replace an older set of Nanos. The sizing is inconsistent. Previously a 10, had to get these in a 9.5, as a 10 was too long and too narrow. Biggest issue: Going with a unisex ruined the toe box. This version is not as wide, so there is just not as much room in the toe box, which was not an issue with my previous Nanos. Disappointing. Please go back to the Men's sizing...

Fans of previous versions of the Nano please notethis is a completely different shoe altogether. The aesthetics and cushioning are great but this incarnation is missing some of the key attributes that made X, X1, and X2 so enjoyable. For me those are the wide toe-box with comfortable soft mesh and the solid heel support. In the Nano X3 if you go a half size up to give yourself more toe space you risk heel slippage in the back, and if you go with a tighter size you face blisters or injury in the front. I wear cross-trainers mostly for boxing and outdoor calisthenics so I like a more compact fit for support in lateral movement. The older Nanos were great in that you could go a half-size down and still remain injury-free in your toes due to the wide box in the front. Hopefully Reebok takes this into consideration and brings back some of the terrific qualities of the older versions in Nano X4.
