I have difficult feet to fit for comfort. The shoe required no breaking in! I found my first pair in a retail store so I did get to actually try them on. Two days later I ordered another pair in a different color. I'm sure by summer I'll be ready for another color.

Beautifully made. Larger than my previous Encores, so a bit too loose

I have an older pair of these and they are wearing out because they are so comfortable. I don't think the new ones are exactly the same, but hopefully once I get them worn in a bit, they will be my go to shoe.

Took these in black to Kentucky Christmas. Love them! My daughter-in-law took one look and said she had just bought them for her mother in all colors. Reveal:we're both in our 80's but that doesn't mean the shoes are fuddy-duddy. It means they are comfortable, accommodating any foot irregularity; slip on, so no lace tying; I first bought a version of these years ago when we had a new puppy and quick footwear was essential to getting the little darling outside before accidents!

I have bought several pair of Merrell Encore Breeze over many years. This latest model is fine, up to the usual standard. However, I wish they would stop tweaking the style - it was perfect several years ago and the changes made over time have not made any improvements, in fact, some of them have not been as high quality as previous renditions. Glad this style was what I expected.

These shoes are amongst the most comfortable I've ever worn - light, easy to get on and off, good support and versatile. I'm using them for slippers now, and will be taking them on vacation as versatile beach/pool/casual footwear. Wish they had more colours ...

I really like the fit and feel of these shoes. I have a fairly petite foot and it is narrow. I bought these in a 6, I regularly wear a 6. They are perfect for my job where I am consistently on my feet.

I have worn this model for years but this pair disappoints. I bought a 8.5 mediumusualand it fits fine except in the heel which slips when I walk which is annoying. Never had that problem with Encore 4. I was going to return but resigned myself to wear with ankle socks but don't think I will purchase again.

Merrill Jungle Mocs are the best shoe ever, regardless of what they call them. I take them everywhere. I prefer the slides.

I have terrible feet! I can wear the Encore Breeze all day without a problem. The shoe box is wide enough to allow my feet to spread without toe and bunion pain. Recommend!!!

Love these shoes, and especially love the switch to fabric around the opening. The previous leather cracked and wore out. I get so many comments on these casual shoes.

Very disappointed. I have ordered many pairs of this style in the past. I wear them every day. This pair failed to measure up. This pair is large, sloppy, and I had to return them.

I bought my first pair of these so many years ago I don't remember when it was -- and I am still wearing that pair. And by "wearing," I literally mean several times per week, weather permitting. They are so comfortable, provide the support I need, go well with jeans (which are pretty much all I wear) and they last and last and last. I've also got them in two other colors, but the dark blue are by far the ones I wear most often. The ONLY reason I bought a second pair is that on the original shoes, the part that lines the shoe opening has gotten pretty worn; the shoe-repair shops I've begged to repair or replace that part claim it can't be done. So I just got a second pair -- same shoe, same color -- so I'd have one pair that looks pristine, for when that matters. The originals, however, are still a frequent go-to just because I love them and despite so much wear, still have plenty of life left in them. I have never worn a pair of shoes for longer or as often.

These were not the Merrell Breeze I have bought many times. The back of the heel is no longer rigid. The cut is different.painful for a high instep. I wont buy by mail again.
