I'm so bummed Merrell changed the design on these previously great shoes. The heel is too high now, where you used to be able to just slip your foot in and go. Big bummer! I've probably bought 6-8 pairs of these over the years. My go to for the street, and for use in the garden. Rats!

These sandals are interesting. It takes time to fit in them, but they are so shallow my heels came off at every step. I can't even walk three steps without feeling inconvenience and discomfort. I returned them for an exchange to a different model. It was sad that they made me pay for the shipping because the new pair l I wanted to try was a different model.

I am so disappointed that Merrel has changed the last on their Encore Breeze shoes! I've been happily wearing older versions of this shoe for many years but will need to start shopping for a substitute - the new Encore Breeze does not fit me anywhere!
