Most comfortable sport shoe I have ever owned. Perfect fit for my foot. This is my fourth pair of the "glove" model.

A shoe that fits! Be careful these babies grip! Excellent shoes that exude confidence and I love the low profile sole makes you feel in control with every step. Will definitely be looking for another pair! True to size.

Using the original Trail Glove as a benchmark. The v7 area from ball of foot forward is too loose for me. And the laced area does not come forward enough to cinch that space down. Also the traction nubs wore of on heels and ball very quickly. Question longevity of the sole.

Very comfortable fit, airy and light, but a solidly supportive sole. Great shoe for those looking for a middle ground between trail gloves and sneakers.

Great barefoot shoe for trail running and just everyday living. Normally a 10 but went 10 1/2, and still not sure if that was too much of a size up. The 10 seemed a tiny bit too small, so I went up. Seems to fit well.

At first I wasnt a fan of the new design as I absolutely loved the model 6. Just my personal preference. But I am glad I took the leap and got them. They are perfect and the new design enhances the overall shoe by so much. My fav shoe!

I have been a long time Merrell customer. I chose this specific model as I love minimalist shoes but wanted more support for everyday wear. This shoe is perfect for this and I wear daily. The construction is top notch, the grip is excellent, and the shoe is very comfortable for walks and low to mid-grade hiking. I have quite flat feet, and this is the most comfortable shoe for me of all the brands I have tried in this tier of shoe. I highly recommend!

Love the arch and heel support with barefoot minimalism. This is my 5th pair with this trail glove model and they keep getting better. Great price and look too.

They are good shoes but they aren't zero drop. So saying they are "barefoot" is misleading. It has a massive heel on it.

Wow!! These are absolutely perfect for me!! I have been searching for a minimal zero drop shoe with a touch more support and durability then my Vivos and these are awesome. Just enough support but does not take away from the ground feel, nice wide toe box. Super comfortable and an awesome look. Thank you and keep them coming!!

Nowhere nearly as durable as previous versions of the Trail Glove, a shoe whose various versions I have used for trail running for years. Tread on the heel ripped right off the bottom of the shoe on my first use. Not a viable trail shoe its current form. Merrell needs to do some significant quality control on this version. A waste of a great design. To their credit, customer service took my complaint seriously and has informed me that they are issuing a credit.

Im leaving a 1 star review because I am comparing the quality (longevity) of the trail glove 5 versus this one. I have had the trail glove 5 for the last 4 yrs (weekly miles between 25 and 60). They started coming apart where the fabric meets the bottom of the shoes by the large toes, which was fine - 4 yrs out of them is incredible! But once stones and twigs started coming in my shoes during runs bc of the holes, I bought a replacement pair: the trail glove 7. That same tearing of the seam from my old shoes that took 4 years took about 3 months in these new ones. Also, the grippy tread on the bottom of the shoe wore down fast, too. Im very disappointed because I really loved the trail glove. Please go back to the original quality! These are not worth purchasing if youre a trail runner / ultra runner, unlike the awesome previous version.

This is my second pair of Trail Glove 7s. I love these shoes! You can wear them till the soles wear down. Previously, I had 3 pairs of Trail Glove 4s. I am so thankful that the TG7 is closer to the TG4 than the TG5 and TG6 were (which I had to send back after trying them on due to too much arch support. I prefer minimal to no arch support.) These have an almost barefoot feel except for the thicker sole, which I need to keep the soles of my feet from bruising on occasional stretches of large gravel on the trails where I run. Merrell, please keep the Trail Gloves as minimal/barefoot as possible! No arch support, please. Only improvement I'd make is widening the toe box slightly.

Wanted an all round barefoot travel shoe and tried the trail glove. Found it comfortable and light up in my travels in Portugal and Spain. Only carried the trail glove and no other shoes. Served my purpose well.

The shoes were perfect for our walking tour through the cobblestone streets around the town of St Tropez near the city of Toulon, France. The uneven cobblestone, slippery in spots, and steep climbs would test our stamina but was no match for these Merrell's. They held firm on the steepest climb and I never felt my balance was in jeopardy. I'm so glad I bought these shoes. Not only do they feel secure and comfortable on the feet, they look great too.

Awesome shoes! Big upgrade from the TG6. Wider, less arch support, and they look better. They are my go to shoe for walking and some trail running. The zero drop and cushioning is perfect for longer days on the feet or some technical trails. They could be a little bit wider but they also hug your foot nicely and have a wide toe box. The only issue is the tread durability. Unfortunately, I have worn down the sole in like 6 months, resulting in bad traction is wet or looser conidtions. The rest of the shoe is in perfect condition. If the sole was stronger this would be a perfect shoe that would last a long time. Hopefully Merrell can correect this with the TG8!!

I am sad that I had to return them. When I compared the Mens size 7 trail glove 7 vs. the trail glove 6, the new trail glove 7 was 1/2 longer! It was weird. When I asked if they couldve been miss-sized they said they didnt think so. Unfortunately they dont come in 6.5 so I wont be able to buy this iteration. My trail glove 6s will just have to hang on until their next iteration.

Very light shoes for daily walks in green environments but not for urban walking. Very little material design on the inside so wear thick socks for maximum comfort. Tread, style, and color choices is typical reason to buy this Merrell shoe.
