I returned the slippers because my right foot kept rolling over. It was like there wasn't any support there.

I've been buying the Wicked Good slippers for years due to comfort and longevity of the product. Last year I purchased the slippers and noticed the quality wasn't the same, less lining and they wore out quicker. I purchased another pair 2 weeks ago, and after wearing less than 2 weeks, they have stretched out and are way to big for me to wear. I'm really bummed because I have really bad feet and these were the only slippers I could wear comfortably. LLBean, please don't sacrifice quality for profits - or lower the price, they are way too expensive for the quality. I'll never purchase these slippers again.

I loved these when I bought them - had I reviewed them at that point, they would have gotten 5 stars. But the quality is poor - after only 3 winters of use (so 12 months total) the stitching that holds the sole to the leather uppers is coming out. I've attached a picture of what the seam looks like after two winters of use. It's too bad because the uppers are still in good shape. I work full time so these are only worn in the morning & evening. I work in a professional setting so I'm not wearing them outside like I see some folks doing. I also don't wear them come spring - they're too warm. This is just what they look like after normal use. Maybe if they were $20 slippers, I'd be okay with them falling apart after two winters, but for the amount of money I paid, I'd expect them to last longer. I'd expect LL Bean to have better quality than this.

In the past these slippers were made well. Now there is less padding and the stitching is loosening after 1 month. I wear them 2-3 hours in the evening. It surprised me that the quality decreased for I was "expecting" the same from years of purchasing.

I've been wanting to buy these slippers for many years. I finally decided to splurge and got them. Based on the reviews that said the slippers stretch and conform to your feet as well as my past experience with other brands, I made the purchase according to my shoe size. After receiving the slippers, I'm very disappointed they're so narrow. I called LLBean and the rep said a larger size will only be longer, but not wider. If you require a wide width, DO NOT buy these slippers! I'm ending up wasting $6.50 (for return postage) just to try on these shoes! From now on I'm using other sites that offer free shipping both ways.

Sorry to say the slippers are too wide and the sole on the right foot does not stay flat, something is off with the lining. I would not recommend these slippers.

Quality is going down hill and I can no longer trust this brand. I bought a pair of these in 2015 and thought they were great at first. Less than a year later the stitching broke and my foot was completely exposed. So I went back to the store and exchanged them for another pair, hoping it was a fluke. Unfortunately, another year later the same thing happened to the stitching. In addition to the poor stitching, the "fleece" lining wears away quickly so they aren't as comfortable and cozy as when you first get them. I was willing to deal with the lining, but after less than a year's worth of wearing them (I don't wear them in the summer) I shouldn't have to deal with a big gaping hole on the side which renders them useless. I decided I would return the item for a refund instead of another exchange. When I brought my exchange receipt back, I was told I would only get store credit. When I exchanged the first pair, my receipt was in my account and I could have received a full refund then. But I agreed to do an exchange instead. And now that I want my money back my receipt is no longer in the system and the exchange receipt only gives a store credit. So my first piece of advice is not to buy them. If you do buy them, then I advise a full refund when the stitching gives out. And of course never lose your original purchase receipt.

I purchased these slippers 5 months ago and already they are falling apart! The picture posted by another reviewer looks just like my slippers stitching along the outside of the right slipper is completely warn through and torn. Must be a design flaw. I am very gentle on clothes, including slippers, and they usually last for years. Unfortunately, the quality of these slippers is a complete departure from what I've come to expect from LL Bean. I am so disappointed. (On a positive note, I spoke with someone in customer service this evening and she was responsive, professional and very friendly.)

Either I was sent a reject pair or something is seriously is wrong with the manufacturing process. I have had 2 other pairs of this same slipper that I loved. This pair could not even be worn. The base was narrow and top was crooked. It was like they put the base for the right foot and the top for a left foot together. The result was I fell off the base with the top being very uncomfortable. Just a disaster. I kept looking at them trying to figure out if had them on the wrong foot. Nothing helped. The manufacturing process is not up the expensive price they charge. I am actually insulted they would sell this pair of slippers to me.

I expected a little more structure. the little arch in the slipper doesn't stay under my arch, making for an uncomfortable fit and feel. Wish I would have returned them

I have used this model of LL Bean slippers for decades. I kept my last pair for almost 2 years, but was unhappy with them for most of that time. Within a few months, there were large bare spots in the lining -- this got progressively worse over time. They fit snugly at first, but the lining compressed so much that the slippers got way too wide, and I started landing on the side of the boot instead of the soles. Finally, a few months ago, mostly as a result of walking on them, the stitches started to disintegrate. By that time, the boots were so wide that it was really uncomfortable to walk. I was disappointed last time I bought these slippers, but had decided to give them one more try. No more. I ordered a pair from a different company and returned these today. L.L. Bean took them back without question -- which is nice as far as it goes, I guess, except they didn't even want feedback as to why I was returning them.

My last pair lasted me over 10 years, never mind how long my fathers lasted!! When I finally retired my old pair, my new ones wore out in less than 2! Stitching just came apart, never mind the overall support! LLBean graciously returned them and here we are exactly 2 years later (again) and same issue! For $80 one would hope they would hold up for even half the time their predecessors did! So disappointed to have to move on from a classic.

I have purchased these slippers for years and have always loved them. I tried reordering these 2-3 years ago.The foot bed just felt weird and I returned them. Decided to try again because no other slippers compare. I was again disappointed. The construction of the foot bed is off. My feet slide to the outside edges where I can feel all the stitching because the shearling is not thick enough. I'm so sad! :(

I ordered up a half-size, as recommended. But I can barely get these on over socks (and it makes no sense to me to wear slippers without socks in the middle of the winter). As a result of how tight the slippers are, they're just not comfortable. I know the package insert says that they'll stretch and conform to my feet, but I just can't take the chance (or the discomfort I'd experience in the interim). These are going back.

Heel rolls out as soon as you put them on. Unsafe to wear. Not the same ones I have been buying for 30 years! Time to change to Duluth Trading Co.

These are just awful. Too small. Too narrow. what did you do to these? They used to be perfect. These lack support, are wayyyyyyyyy too small and narrow. Feet roll, off sides of soles. Floppy yet too small. Not like the ones from 10 years ago at all. Avoid at all costs.

I happily wore my first pair of these slippers for many years and then decided to retire them and treat myself to a new pair. What a disappointment! They immediately wore down in such a way as to cause my foot to slide towards the outside edge and I cannot correct it. It is uncomfortable and dangerous. The padding is thicker on the inside of the heel than the outside and forces your foot to roll over in an unnatural way. I cringed putting them into the garbage can this morning as I know how expensive they were. Now, from looking at other reviews, I see that I am not alone in having this problem.

I've worn these for years and loved them. The pair I ordered this year are half the thickness of the old ones. So cheap. And the shearling in the footbed never seems to conform the way it should, making my foot slide around and making it dangerous to walk. I can only use them when I'm sitting and want my feet to stay warm. Not exactly what shoes are for. Will not buy these again.

I ordered 2 pairs of these slippers in anticipation that they would be good slippers based on the "high" price. Well, I should have heeded the other reviews. The materials are good, it's the wokmanship. The slippers have absolutely no structure. Your foot just rolls around in them. They are so wide as to be bulky. Very disappointed in these slippers and will be returning them ASAP. I'd compare the fit and structure to a cheap pair from "you know who", fits about the same. Don't waste your money. I also ordered a pair of the all leather slippers for my husband. I feel sure he will not like them. The sole is slick. Each year I have ordered from LL Bean, but the quality of workmanship is low grade now. So sorry we can't get good products anylonger.

I have worn these LL Bean slippers for decades. I most recently bought a pair less than 2 years ago. They fit well for the first month, but then the lining compressed so much that my feet slide around awkwardly inside. The lining completely wore away in several spots in less than a year. This is the second time I have been dissatisfied with the quality of this slipper and I am not going to buy them again.

I have purchased these slippers several times over the past 20 years, and I'm so disappointed! I used to love these slippers. These feel like I'm walking on cardboard. The shearling feels half as thick as it used to, the ankle is wide and the toe area is narrow -- and I have a narrow foot! What a waste of money! Won't buy these again!

This is my 3rd pair of these slippers. The quality from 5 years ago has diminished. The pair I bought this year is totally worn out after 6 months. They seem to be made for 2 left feet. I'm walking on the side of the slipper and the seam of the foot pad is down the middle of my foot. My toes are squished to the outside of the front of the shoe. Very sad. I still have the pair from 3 years ago and wear them outside. This is the last pair I will ever buy.

the bottom of these slippers are uneven, or the padding inside is uneven, making my foot slant when i put them on and making it very uncomfortable. not worth the money. should have returned them when i was thinking about it... almost 100 dollars, a huge waste of money :(

Toe was too narrow, and too long. The heel was shapeless and it kept falling off. My wife has had exactly these slippers in the past and loved them, but they are not being made the same. On a side note, I have a pair of Bean slippers that are less than a year old, and the fleece is already wearing out. Slippers in the past have lasted much better. All in all, it seems like the quality of these iconic items has slipped seriously.
