I have worn these slippers for forty years and never had a problem. These were too short even though I worn them a bit to see if they would stretch. I held them up to my current slipper and the leather bottom was almost 1/2 inch shorter.

The first pair of slippers were delivered timely however the slippers were not as advertised with Sherpa wool extending above the collar. I called customer service the day I received the slippers and explained my disappointment in the product. LLBean shipped me a new pair of slippers. I returned the first pair. The second pair of slippers arrived and were as advertised. I am pleased with the amount of attention spent by LLBean striving for customer satisfaction and standing behind the product they advertised.

I received these for Christmas. I wear a 7 or 7.5 woman's shoe. I received a size 8 slipper that was tight but I read this was to be expected and that the slipper would conform to my feet overtime. I had my doubts because part of the issue was that the sole seemed narrower than it was in previous LLBean slippers I have had. I have been wearing these for a month. They are just ok, not great. They still seem a bit tight and, as I anticipated, the sole is just too narrow and feels a bit "off" under my feet. I will not buy again. They are no longer "wicked good."

This is my second pair. The first one was great; this one has weird soles that turns my ankles out. They fit fine so I wore them and can't return them but they're terrible. I regret buying them and won't be getting these again.

Ordered a half size up as instructed. Slipper is too short and too narrow. Another reviewer had the same problem and kept them to see if they'd stretch sufficiently and they didn't, so these are going back.

I'm seeing that other reviewers had the same problem - the size 8 was way too small for my adult daughter. I am returning them but have no faith in ordering a second pair unless the quality control improves. I'm a longtime LLBean shopper, and this was disappointing.

I purchased a pair of these at a store. I had only tried on the left slipper and it fit so the clerk went and got the right one, put it in the box and I went home - which was not close to the store. Once home I realized that the right slipper did not fit. It was as if it was a whole size smaller. I returned them to the store, the store ordered another pair for me online. When I received them, once again the right slipper did not fit. You could see they were not even sewn properly. They were marked the same size. My daughter, who I purchased a pair for and found them to fit (size 7) tried on my size 8 slipper and found that even she had a hard time fitting into the right slipper.
So, while the size 7 slippers seem to be manufactured correctly, the size eight right slipper is not. I'm truly disappointed as I have worn these slippers for years and just threw out a very old raggedy pair. I couldn't wait to get my new ones. Perhaps I'll try again next year.

My right slipper seam curves to the right and the triangle that meets the wool lining on top starts further out on the top of my foot than the other. Also, the tags on the inside rub on the arches of my feet. I have an old pair from the 90s (my mom's) that were top quality but we bought these bc my dog at the others:(.

The product received was low quality construction . One shoe looked fine and the other was not stitched correctly and puckered. Will be returning. Was very disappointed.

I had this type of slipper from LLBean for years - absolutely loved them. This slipper has changed. Tight and tag inside make them quite uncomfortable. Quite disappointed.

I was very excited about this purchase and they were great for a year. One of them now has a hole where the sole and the top leather connects. Unfortunately L.L.Bean do no offer repairs for them and they broke right after the warranty expired.
I would say for the price these are not worth it. Sadly they would probably cost more to repair than buy a new pair.

The footbed is quite narrow, to the point that they're really tight, and I don't have wide feet. The right slipper should not have passed quality control. The central seam is crooked and I've had to break it in carefully or my foot would be slipping to the side. Since the top is unfinished, the shearling lining is shedding already. This is not what I expected from LL Bean's legendary slippers. I won't buy again.

These slippers are not made as well as they used to be, first China and now Malaysia. Excess fabric on right shoe. the shoe is more ample than previous purchases. I bought size 9 because they don't come in half sizes which up to now was always ok This is my 6th pair over the years and will likely be my last. The label inside is now paper/plastic and scratches the arch of my foot. I hesitate cutting it off because it's so close to the seam. Not happy this time. I would not recommend this slipper to a friend, especially for the price.

I was very disappointed by how short the slippers were. I thought they would be Bootie-type slippers but they just sit too low on my ankle. It feels like you are wearing structured slippers/shoes as opposed to soft house shoes, which would be fine if that's what you were looking for. However I was picturing something softer. They are also very ugly.

No one should have to feel pain to break in a pair of slippers. I've had wicked good slippers for years, my last pair wore out. So was looking forward to the treat of a new pair. I read a lot of reviews about them being cut more narrowly now. But decided to try them and size up in length. I wear a 7-7 1/2 normally, and got a size 8 women. They felt really tight through the toe bed, to the point my feet were aching and had to take them off for relief. Wrote to customer service to make sure if I put shoe stretchers in them if I could still return. I was told yes, so in go the shoe stretchers. First round, they felt better, but still uncomfortably tight. Put the stretchers back in and stretched in both length and width directions. Now they are wearable. But still not really comfortable yet. They feel to short in length and snug width-wise. Can't be bothered to return them will hope that they continue to stretch out with time. Will not buy another pair unless Bean provides a wide option. No wide in men's either, very Disappointing. It is not the fresh fluff of the shearling (customer service explanation), the cut of the leather is too small. Narrow feet with low arch may be fine, not me.

After a year of wear (about mid October- beginning of May), the lacing at the bottom started to come loose. I had them repaired, and have since had to have more repairs done. I was just so disappointed that these did not last long. I wear them every day during chillier months, but I expected better quality from L. L. Bean. I would not purchase again.

My last pair of Wicked Slippers is my sixth pair of these slippers. I am so disappointed in the last two pairs. I got a pair about two years ago and the upper slid over toward the outside of the sole and the stitching wore and developed a hole. I thought this was a glitch, so I bought another pair. Same problem. I started wearing these slippers over 40 years ago and they wore for years before I had to get a new pair. What has happened to LLBean and their quality control? Very disappointed.

Good slippers, don't fit well for people with higher arches. Size was right, but can't wear them.

Seems the quality of the past is slipping. Can't easily get my foot into the slipper. Opening is too small. right slipper just does not "feel" right. For $89....not gonna work. Very disappointed, but sending them back.

As per some other reviews, the side seam on one slipper broke open just two months after the warranty ran out. Called customer service - their suggestion was ship them back and they "would evaluate". Not exactly a feel good result.

I was very disappointed in these slippers and plan to return them. Although they were quite warm, they did not provide much ankle support and the tag in the bottom of the slipper felt razor sharp unless I wore them with socks. Even then, the location of the tags made the slippers less comfortable.

I don't know how it happened but one shoe has shifted off the sole to the right. I'm now walking on the side of the shoe. I have no foot deformities and walk normally so I don't know how this happened. Fortunately I mostly use them for warmth and they are warm.

I've been hearing about these boots for years and finally decided to invest in a pair. I was disappointed when they arrived poorly wrapped, with loose shearling at the tops. They are warm but do not feel like they are made with the integrity and care that I associate with LL Bean products. Why must the tags be sewn inside for instance? I have also heard the sound of small tears at the tops when putting them on a couple of times. I wanted to fall in love with these slippers so much (and hope I still do) but I think I'll be reuniting with my former slipper brand in the future.
