I only wear these slippers, they are comfortable, soft and don't have a hard bottom. I dislike the hard bottom slippers. With that said, I've had to buy several pairs over the years because the seem to only last roughly two seasons of cold weather. The material used to sew the bottom to the top needs to be a really strong leather or something as EVERY pair I've bought has come apart there. I have a pair now that there is nothing else wrong with them and I have to find some kind of shoe string or something to fix them. Not sure I'll keep buying as I'm tired of this happening.

I've worn these slippers for decades and have loved them but the latest pair I received two days ago are just that much too short to be comfortable. I'm hoping that it's just a problem with this pair and not a change in the slippers themselves--so I'll be exchanging them in our local B&M store in the near future.

The right shoe does not have fur covering the top seam. That has resulted in a abrasion on my wife's diabetic foot. She has stopped wearing them for that reason.

Although the slippers are warm, the lining bunches in odd places making walking a challenge. I thought about returning them but thought that the lining would even out with wear. That is not the case. I'm sorry that I didn't go with my first instinct and return the slippers.

I have been wearing Wicked Good Slippers since I was a kid, and each pair has usually lasted about 10 years. I bought myself the most recent pair in November 2016, and have subjected them to the same type of wear as previous pairs- always indoors - and this pair has already begun to come apart. The stitching is coming out on the side, and the wool on the inside is worn away and matted. Soooo disappointed. I used to brag to everyone about these and always recommended them to everyone. I even bought some for family and husband. What happened to the quality LL Bean?

The slippers fit very tight to start with, but I read the directions that came with them which directed me to wear them a few days and they would adjust and so I did. The right one now fits perfectly, but there is a flaw of some sort in the left one. It's almost like they sent me two right shoes but not quite. No matter how much I try wearing it, the left slipper is off centered or something. The foot falls off the sole and the big toe ends up hurting. I had someone else try these slippers on just to make sure that it wasn't just me, and they were as annoyed as I with the fit of the left slipper. I have a pair of these same slippers I bought years ago from LLBean and they did not have any of these problems. So I am stumped. These are very expensive slippers for one not to fit right.

I have a pair that are 7 years old that I just loved and wore them to death but this pair I am disappointed in. The pile inside of the slippers, especially the right one, is all bunched up and they are difficult to walk in.

I loved everything about these slipper except for the thread that holds the top & botten together, it rubs in the floor and wears out so the slipper comes apart before it's time. I keep coming back to see it they corrected this yet or maybe use a leather string.

I have worn my pair through 2 winters and know they may suit most ladies' needs well but I have decided to go with another pair through llbean this time around. Perhaps I've worn them more than they are meant for. The stitching has not stood up well from the sole to the upper and I am tall and only very modesty overweight and I've had a problem with having my heel slide to the side too easily such that I have somewhat tweaked my walking posture in them and find this uncomfortable. I love llbean quality workmanship and this is the first time I've ever felt a desire to help someone else who may understand these issues in perhaps going with another model. Btw I am a fairly strong and resilient 65 yo.

Nope, nope, nope ~ won't buy these again. I have bought these Wicked Good Slippers before and they have lasted forever. This latest pair I've worn in a couple winters for a total of 15 months and the threads started to disintegrate several months ago. Quality has fallen off and prices have gone up. Sad!

I've always ordered the regular tan colored shearling slippers. This time I ordered the chocolate brown ones. The chocolate brown ones are leather but the shearling is not real wool. L.L. Bean really should bring back it's original quality and not substitute fake fur for shearling. The slippers fit and are comfortable but they are not what I paid for. It would be nice if it were also noted on the website that these are not real shearling. The fake shearling does not conform to my foot and bunches up. Stop farming out your manufature.

This is my third pair of shearling slippers from llbean, so I am no stanger to the quality of those from a few years back. The current ones are not nearly as well made as those I have worn in the past. They are cheap in appearance and, frankly, I would return them had they not been a gift. Shame on llbean for selling cheap products at quality prices.

I have had a few pairs of these and have always loved them, but this pair has a cushioning that I don't recall any of the prior pairs having. It is making me feel like I am walking on the outside of my feet. I tried wearing them on the wrong feet(uncomfortable)to push the padding down on the inside of my foot. I would probably refrain from purchasing them again :(

I have had a few of these slippers and loved them. However, I had to switch to the Wicked Moccasins because they had the rubber outsole. That feature is a must have! I don't like the moccasins as well because the ties always come loose or untied. Please, please, please make these slippers with the rubber outsole! I miss wearing them :(.

I have purchased these slippers over the course of 20 years. New slippers were always a little snug because of the thickness of the lambs wool. That's not the case anymore. Sad that I have to find a new style of slippers now.

Have had these for years and would love to keep buying them, but as I am getting older it has become clear that a nonskid bottom would be a much safer purchase. These can be slippery on wooden floors. LLBean, would you please consider putting a nonskid bottom on this style???

I have had these slippers for years and just bought a new pair because I wore the other ones out. When I went to remove the tags within each slipper (they are awkwardly placed so that they scratch your foot), I noticed on both slippers that whoever made them sewed in the tag, but didn't remember to sew the rest of the sole together. So both of my slippers are not sewn where the arch is so you can see the sole stitching and your foot can feel the rough material underneath the top sole insert. So terrible and disappointing for a brand known for quality.

I bought these slippers in 2014 because, having had them in the past, they warm both my feet and my ankles. A prior pair had to be returned after about a year because the stitching holding base to the upper came undone. LLBean replaced them free of charge. This pair (purchased subsequent to the replacement pair) have an uneven base that causes my feet to roll outward, stressing the ankle. I can't tell whether it's the fleece inside causing this, or the base. I tried combing the fleece to even it out. Also tried cutting some fleece away on the "high" inner part. Thus I would recommend these slippers only for those whose ankles roll in. I believe I've given them a lengthy and fair trial period but won't be purchasing this model again in spite of its appeal re providing warm ankles.

Pros: Very warm! Love the dark brown color! Keeps ankles warm, too! Cons: No support should you need that. It clearly says this doesn't have an "outdoors sole" (my description). Leather/suede-y bottom. But IMHO be warned - even indoors this can make for a slippery footing. I have wood floors, tile floors and carpeting on steps. I have reluctantly decided I just don't feel secure in my footing with these slippers purely because of the sole and quit wearing them only for that reason. Will order a pair of moccasin type with a non skid bottom.

This pair was a replacement for a pair that I owned for 12 years. A redesign has made them narrower and they do not come up as high on the ankle. Considering that they were $25 or $30 more expensive I do not feel as if I paid for the LLBean value product I have been purchasing for the last 35 years.

I wear a 8 1/2 so ordered a 9 as instructed. I have very narrow feet, but the pointed toe of this slipper makes it tight in the toe area even though it is considered medium width. If the toe were more rounded shaped more like one's foot it would be much more comfortable. They are, however, wonderfully warm.

I am not a man and do not want men's slippers. I have purchased 3 pair of the Wicked Good slippers over the past 7yrs. I loved them. My friends and relatives have also ordered them based upon my recommendations. No longer! They slide up & down on my heels. The old style was great. I am totally disappointed in this change. You had a great product now you change it. BY,BY. till you change back.

These slippers are designed exactly the way my old slippers from 40 years ago were but . . . they are made of material so soft and floppy that it tripped me when I first put them on. It was too much like having a large wad of soft material wrapped on my feet. Very hard to put on my feet, I had to reach down and pull the sides up. Inside softness is fine but needs to have a more substantial outer layer of leather to hold sides up and provide support. Unfortunately will be returning these slippers.

My "go to" slippers. Love them. I have arthritis and bunions and these always felt so good on my feet after a long day of work. But, after a couple of years, the seams where the sole meets came apart. For the money I would expect them to last longer. Due to the cost and lack of durability I won't be buying another pair.

These are so warm and comfy - they would have easily gotten a 5-star review from me, except for the fact that they didn't last long before the side split at the seam on the one. Very disappointing for such an expensive slipper.
