When I first got the slippers and tried them on and wore them around the house for about a week they were fine and comfortable.
Then the right foot of the slipper started leaning sideways, when I am walking! I don't know if it's the slipper or my foot. I have never had an issues like that before with any other slippers!

The shearling is gorgeous. Unfortunately the label is sewn in the instep, which scratches if you wear these slippers without socks. Otherwise they are warm and wonderful.

Nicely made and warm but liner on bottom bunches up near toes. This happened on another pair I had a while ago too.
Too bad because otherwise they are nice slippers

These are great except that the stitching is coming out after having just under a year. I wear often but expected these to last a lot longer after reading reviews before purchasing.

This is my fourth pair. The first pair I bought did not have the triangular piece at the opening for the foot which made it much easier to get off and on. The last 3 models have included this leather piece. I am assuming it is there to create a snug fit to keep cold out; however, it is not
needed because these slippers are quite warm. The design flaw is annoying, because it really takes a lot of effort to put the slippers on instead of being able to slip them on.

Just received my slippers today. When I tried them on I didn't get the feeling that the slippers were too tight due to being stuffed with shearling, which I used to love, (after a few days' wear they would begin to conform to my foot). Also when walking around they no longer feel like I'm walking on a cloud. I'm bummed. It's so hard to find really good, comfy slippers and I'm tired of paying return shipping.

They are too tight to slip into and too short to keep my ankles warm. Too bad that the wide is unavailable or I probably would have swapped them out. I like that I can return them even after wearing them. How else would I know whether they will wear in?

The slippers don't have as much shearling in them as the used to. My feet are freezing inside and it's only in the 40's outside. Can't imagine what they'll feel like when it's really cold out. My previous two pair were toasty. Hate the quality has slipped. The stitching is still of good quality.

I just received these slippers and found there was an annoying tag inside right on the instep area of both slippers. It doesn't have any way to easily remove. I will probably return these. I'm afraid that's a bad design and am surprised I didn't see comments on that or am I the only one that finds that irritating?

I, too, am a little disappointed in this batch of slippers. I encountered the same problem other reviews have noted. The left slipper curls to the left so that I am walking on the side of the slipper, not the sole. Otherwise, they are warm enough and make me happy.

I have worn this style for a number of years--I need the softer sole. The last time I bought them, however, the fleece was level with the leather at the ankle on the outside of the right foot, instead of above it as it shows in the photo on the website. I have gotten used to having the leather edge rub uncomfortably on my ankle, but I hope the next pair is better. The photo shows the most recent slipper on the left and the older, better one on the right (both of the right foot). Even the color of the fleece is different.

For at least the first year, I wore these slippers without socks. My feet fit cozy, were warm, and I wore them for many hours. Then the lining began to flatten and for the best fit I had to wear them with socks. I wear my shoes/slippers until they are worn out so I don't mind paying for shoes that I know will last. The soles and structure remain in good condition but the stitching around the toes wore out a year ago. I will probably duct tape the toes and wear these for short trips outdoors, I won't replace these as indoor slippers.

When I have purchased these slippers in the past, they have lasted for several years, but the seams on my current pair have blown out long before the sheepskin is getting worn. They are my favorite footwear and I want to buy another pair but I'm not sure it's worth it if they are only going to last just over a year and a half.

I really like these slipper. I had a pair close to 30 years ago. Unfortunately I need more stability now so I returned them.

My third pair of these Wicked Goods. Not a happy discovery to find a tag inside on both slippers. . .there's lovely shearling and then a tag between the sole ad side on each one that is so scratchy. What were you thinking? Fir the money an uncomfortabe slipper

They arrived yesterday, so I can't comment on how they'll wear over time. Good looking, super cozy with bare feet BUT there is a tag inside (both slippers), by my arch, that is scratchy and annoying. It's in too far to snip out. I'm hoping it softens with wear. I thought I was being overly sensitive, but see that other people have made similar comments.

The fleece on the bottom has an uneven feel to it. I keep hoping my foot will mold more to it and it won't feel so lumpy.

Good quality house shoe, but way too small & way too narrow for my foot. They need to have these in wide sizes. They did not stretch out very good for me!

I wanted this shape of slipper and I wanted real shearling. On both of those scores this is a great slipper. But there are a few difficulties. I bought these knowing they do not have an outdoor appropriate sole (which I wanted but made peace with not having), what I didn't realize is that it does have something like a memory foam sole, which is good in theory, but it is not the full size 7 length and width of my very average size 7 foot. The slipper fits with a bottom sole that's a tad too small so it feels like the edges of my foot are hanging over the sides. After three days of nearly constant wear, I've made peace with that as well, but would love it to be different. The real problem which would be such an easy fix for llbean, the stupid tag. This tag is sewn into the arch area of the shoe making it impossible to read, impossible to reach to cut out without damaging the slipper and a constant annoyance to my foot. I have been cutting it out piece by piece, but it requires extra hands, and hasn't gone well (it's still there irritating my foot). Why LL Bean, why? You can't even read the tag where it is, what is its purpose?

I've worn these slippers for decades. I know they should be a little tight all around at the start. I know they'll mold to my feet. And I know how they should feel.
I ordered a new pair last December. Waited and waited. Understandable given the times, happy to wait. When they arrived yesterday I was thrilled...until I put them on.
These bear no resemblance the Wicked Goods I've worn for so many years. The left almost fits, but twists a little. The right is at least a half size wider, maybe more, and half size bigger everywhere else but the front top, where it rubs. The shoe is so wide that if it stretches at all, it will come off. And there's no way the sole is sewn on straight.
Sadly, I'll be returning for a refund, because I won't trust in the Bean quality control.
Very disappointing...

I had my first pair for 3 years before needing to replace them. I wore them everyday of the year, since San Francisco is the home of cold and I love it. However, in the past 5 years I have had to replace my WG slippers every year and a half, and I no longer live in San Francisco. Real seasons here, so I don't wear them at all in the summer but they fall apart once winter comes back. Stitching is really bad these days. That is the first to go, then they lose all insulating properties, and no longer keep me warm even with re stitching and insoles. Very sad. Too pricy to replace that often for me I'm afraid. I bought a different pair, the squad lake, and hope to have better luck. No question about it, these are wicked good, just not as good as they used to be.

The shoe feels snug. I guess with wear the shoe will stretch out. I usually wear a wider size but the option was not there only medium.

These slippers used to be wicked good back in the beginning. Now they are stingy on the shearling & they don't hold up like they used to. Quality went down and the price went up.

Stitching that attaches sole to upper didn't last nearly as long as a pair that I previously ordered. Very disappointing.

I was so looking forward to sinking my feet down into these cozy slippers...but I have high arches and couldn't even get my foot in. :-(. They looked wonderful and I was so sorry to have to return them.
