I purchased these slippers approximately a year ago. I wore them a bit last year and then again this year. They are true to size and very comfortable. I could not give them five stars, however, because they are totally worn out. I did not wear them every day and did not wear the outside. We have carpeting in our home and tile in our kitchen area; so they really should not have worn the way they did. the shearling on the inside of the left heel is totally gone, but there is plenty in the right heel. Also they seem to be crooked in both heels so it feels as though I am walking on the sides of my heels. I have never had a problem with my shoes or any other slippers wearing out at the heels so I know that it does not have to do with the way I walk. I imagine the person that wrote the review stating this is her second pair in 25 years is in for a big surprise at the way the new ones will last. I am ordering a new pair; however, because as I said, they are very comfortable (or were until they started to wear out).

As the frigid cold and snow arrive I have just loved my new slippers. As a 2nd grade teacher, we wore bathrobes and slippers to school before vacation and it was the first day I had warm feet in school. I'll have to get another pair to leave under my desk! They are the best!

I love these slippers. They really do keep my feet and toes warm- I have a severe problem keeping my toes warm- even in the summer! These slippers do the trick. The only problem I have with them is that they are a little wobbly when you walk in them- it is too easy to slide over on the side - off the actual sole of the slipper. Wish they were a little more supportive in that area. However, the bottom line is that they DO keep my feet and toes warm so they are truly are "Wicked Good Slippers"!

I purchased the slippers as a gift for my mom. She loved them, but wishes they were higher on the calf to keep her lower legs warm. Many years ago the slippers used to reach mid-calf. I was unable to find at LL Bean. The slippers are very warm and comfy.

The fleece lined bedroom slippers are a must have for those with cold feet in the winter. I am on my second pair and even bought my mom a pair for her gift this year. I highly recommend these durable, as well as comfortable and warm.

These are not as good as the long discontinued camp boots, which I wish Beans would bring back, but my wife liked them, and I may buy myself a pair. They're comfortable and look to be durable, although it's too early to tell. (Our camp boots are more than 20 years old. Hers are holding up well, but mine tore a few years back.)

Very happy when they arrived, I had been looking forward to getting a pair for a long time. However, they ran more narrow than expected and the sole tended to be a bit uncomfortable. I had hoped they had memory foam or a similar material, but they did not. They are currently residing in the box they came in. I will be returning them for a credit and returning to my old faithful slippers.

True fit, warm, but don't cause my feet to perspire. I got the dark brown and I'm pleased with the color. The only thing I would change is add a little more padding on the sole.

Toasty warm but a bit snug. Would like to see a bit more room with more lambswool lining. Hard to find small sizes in adult slippers/boots/shoes

I love these slippers. They're very very comfortable & warm and feel best without any socks. However, if your feet run on the wide side or your BMI is above the normal range your feet might do better by buying the men's wicked good slippers. I wish I had thought of that before I purchased from the women's shoe side. Not that these pinch my feet or there is any discomfort.

I have had a pair of these ankle height WGS before and wore them out. That is why I got another pair - they are comfortable and warm. The only thing I would "downgrade" them for? I wish they had an indoor/outdoor sole like their other slippers do. I like these for the ankle height which is warmer in winter. But the sole, especially as they get a bit worn, can be slippery if I run outside in them to grab the morning paper, mail, etc.

These slippers are comfy and warm, feel good on bare feet. Am slightly concerned about the stitching on the soles but time will tell.

I had a pair a few years ago and wore a whole near the ball of the right toe. It looks like the new slippers have been redesigned. This may correct from that happening again. In addition, the size I ordered is a little snug around the toes but the length is okay. But the next size up would be too long.

I found the slippers to be somewhat narrow. I was going to send them back, but I decided to wear them a bit before doing so. They are definitely getting more comfortable the longer I wear them. I ordered a 9 because the reviews said to go with a larger size. I found that although I wear an 8.5, these were the right fit. So they do run small. They are definitely warm and I am pretty happy with them

The slippers are very warm and comfortable, but I find that the soles are not sturdy enough and I feel like my feet are slipping from side to side when I wear them. I think a stronger sole would make them safer.

Great slippers, they are warm and comfy. I expected a little more support but I love them none the less.

I have been purchasing a new pair of these slippers every 2 years for at least 25 years. In general the quality has always been excellent. They are cushiony soft inside and very warm. However, recent pairs have come apart along the front seam that attaches the top to the sole. The leather doesn't seem as strong as it used to be, and tears along the holes. I hope LL Bean will fix this problem, because otherwise I love these slippers.

I have tried almost every pair of "wicked good" slipper made by LL Bean and am hoping (fingers crossed!) that this pair will finally work for me! I really like the soft inside AND outside and the fact that they come up to the ankle. My only complaint, as has been the problem with the other "wicked goods" as well, is that they don't come in half sizes. I really, really need a half size, and that is why I say I "hope" these will work for me - I hope that once I break them in a little, the snugness will not be a problem. These slippers run LARGE - I am an 8.5 and both the 8 and 9 were too big, even with thicker socks. Because the slipper is so squishy, it really needs to fit securely on your foot. I ordered a 7, which is good, but seems slightly too snug on one foot. .... Thus the need for a half size! Overall, very nice and I look forward to warm feet this winter.

Very comfortable and warm. I was worried about the sole before I receved them and slipping on the stairs but no problem at all! Love the slippers!

These slippers are wicked good. Initially, i was planning on returning them as I felt the toe box inner edge was too narrow (i don't have wide feet) and I could 'feel' the slipper seam. After two days of trying them on and then again off, the slipper has become comfortable in that area. My only reservation is the time the slipper will last. They do not seem to be made as plush as the older versions of llbean slippers. However, I will continue to order as overall do like them . It is difficult for me to get slippers long enough. I wear 11-B.

I received these slippers for Christmas a few years ago. Loved them from the moment I slipped my feet in them. They're soft, cozy, warm, and durable. The only complaint I have is they don't come in half sizes. I wear a 7 1/2 and the one's I received were a 7. They fit a bit snug barefooted but in really cold weather they were too tight with thick socks on so I recommend ordering one size up if you plan on wearing socks with them. Also I wish the bottom had waterproof soles so they can be worn outside without ruining the bottom. I got plenty of wear out of them otherwise and when they got dirty I threw them in the washer and dryer. After a few years of wear and several washings they finally started coming apart in the toe area on one of them. I plan on ordering another pair (an 8 this time) and am sure i'll get my money's worth. Highly recommend.

I really like the feeling of shearling wrapped around my feet, and the fact that the slippers keep my feet comfortably warm without being hot. Just also to note that the slippers don't slip on as easily as I'd like - they have to be pulled on - but I'd do that for warm ankles!

First time slipper buyer. Very comfy. Good fit (bought one size up). Look great. However, was very disappointed to see that they weren't made in the USA.

I've only had the slippers for one week, but I've been wearing them almost constantly. Very warm & cozy! I ordered by phone, & the sales rep was very pleasant & friendly.
