very warm slippers. my shoe size is 8.5 so I got the size 9 slippers. The slippers are very tight at first. I was so used to slippers that did not fit that these are still an adjustment to get used to. they are stretching out and are more comfortable now. the womens sizes do not offer a wide width, i have a wider foot, so will need to wear these more to stretch them out . very good quality, soft inside and out. I did not find any other slipper at another store as nice as these.too bad they don't come in half sizes, 9.5 would probably fit better,10 would probably be too loose. if your foot is an even size, order one full size bigger.

I feel a bit like an elf putting these on, due to their looks. But they are warm and comfy. The bottom is a bit unsteady to walk on due to the shearling lining, perhaps it will flatten out. The boot has a nice exterior (I got the lighter brown color). I like the stiching also.

I read the reviews and followed LLBean recommendation to order up. I wear a solid 9.5 in shoes and sometimes a 10 in running shoes. I ordered a 10 and they were much too loose, especially if needing to allow room for stretch and fleece compression. I sent them back and ordered a 9, they are a little snug now, which is great. I think this will allow them to stretch out without having them fall off when I walk. I haven't used them yet so not sure how well they work.

I found the slippers quite warm and comfortable. I would have liked it better if they could have been worn outside. Unfortunately, I had them less than two months when the stitching on the side of one of the slippers came undone. LL Bean quickly replaced them and sent me a new pair. I have not had the new pair as long as the first ones so I don't know if the same thing will happen again. Otherwise, very comfy and warm.

I bought these for my girlfriend for Christmas and she loved the comfort and warmth. The only issue she had was they don't cover much past her ankles and wished they were taller. I bought her a womens union suit as well, but that one is going back as she is long-waisted and cannot stand up or sit upright when wearing it as it is not tall enough between neck and seat. Both great products, just one doesn't fit right, and other doesn't fit her taste.

Love these slippers - best out there. Just wish they would come in 1/2 sizes. Larger size fits until fur flattens down; smaller size is tight until fur flattens down. Wish 1/2 size that would fit out of the box. Wish slipper boot style also had an indoor / outdoor sole option. Using my old pair as my outdoor ones. LIVE in these all winter. Feet never sweet or freeze. Best.

Finally my feet and ankles are warm! I just wish they had a cork sole, like the Wicked-good clogs, for better stability. I sprayed mine with Scotchguard to protect them from spills in the kitchen. I usually wear a size 7.5 - 8. I bought the size 8 and it fits perfect.

Order this one or two sizes larger than your shoe size. Lining will be cozy but makes the slipper tight.

I had purchased a pair of Wicked Good slippers which were more of a moccasin style previously, and loved them. I ordered these and while I like the style better, they are more narrow and not as comfortable as a result. I will send them back, and appreciate the free return shipping.

I bought these for my 78 year-old mother. Great quality and she loved the style, but the entry is too tight for her to get her feet into with heavy socks on. Too bad, ended up purchasing a similar pair with a more open top from another quality outfitter.

I have mixed emotions, I literally live in my slippers. I love the leather bottoms, they are not noisy while you are walking and do not damage flooring. My slippers are now 1 year old and are completely wore out. The $79.00 price tag has me looking to other vendors of similar sheepskin products. I think these are overpriced for an item that is made in China. LL Bean is making a fortune off these, lower the price and I might be more likely to repurchase.

I have bought these slippers twice. I have to admit the first pair was more comfortable than the first pair, but I still love these newer ones. I always wear slippers with socks, so although the tag is in a bad location, after wearing them for about a week, the tag wedged itself between the sole and side of the slipper. My only complaint is I wear these so much that the stitching is starting to wear (I've had these 3 years now!). But my diehard love for them just meant that I re-stitched them back up. Overall, I will definitely buy another pair when these become too too worn :)

I like these slippers. I am a size 8 - 8 1/2 and I purchased size 8 because I thought they would stretch out, which they did. When I first put them on, they were a bit snug in length and they were narrow too (I thought this was odd because I have slender/narrow feet). After wearing them for a few hours they seem to fit well. I did have to cut the care/size tag out of each of them because they were wicked uncomfortable - after removing the tags, they are wicked comfortable slippers. I did think they were on the expensive side, but they should last a lifetime, so in the end, I think they are worth it.

I was looking for something warm and snuggly for my feet. I live in a climate that can change from warm to ice cold in a matter of 30 min. Also, something I could wear to step outside. Also, I am diabetic so it is important to keep my feet warm! These slippers were perfect since they come up on the ankle! I won't know how durable until I have them a while.

I've gone through many pairs of these over twenty or more years. A few years ago Bean must have used a different vendor because I had a pair that weren't well made, seemed shoddy and had badly uneven soles. This pair seems to be more like the originals. Good fit, good quality right out of the box. I just wish the lacing was more durable.

I measure a 9 1/2 i wear a 10 in sandals and 9 1/2 in other shoes. i ordered a 10. I returned for a 9. The slipper is very nice but seems to run a tad large. The are much wider than I expected. I'm not sure why llbean advises sizing up? Oh we'll. great slipper ,well made just runs a little large.

Previously have purchased the good wicked scuffs for my daughter. She has been very pleased with them and comfortable fit, however this year they were not offered. So I have purchased the slippers. My mother had a pair for years before she died and loved the way her feet stayed so warm.

The slippers are good looking and very comfortable. The only comment I offer is that the outer sole soon looses its tread and becomes slippery. This is of special concern to an elderly person who walks on smooth floor surfaces such as wood, tile, etc.

I always seem to have cold feet through the winter months here in MI. I ordered these slippers for my 40th birthday because of the rave reviews, hoping they would help me warm up. So far, I've found my feet will stay cold all day in the slippers if I put them on with cold feet. On the other hand, if I put them on while my feet are still warm, they will remain nice and toastie all day long in the slippers, which hasn't been true for previous slippers I've tried. These slippers look great and feel great inside too. Thanks LLbean!!

Slippers arrived in a few days. Love them so much ordered another pair. They are very warm and comfortable, even when the shearling mats down. Sole is cushiony. Hope the sole does not wear out before the uppers!

Sizing was correct which is a rarity these days. My main complaint is that after a few days of wearing I noticed that the back heal of one slipper was not sewn together properly, and rubbed my leg/heal causing an abrasion. As I had been wearing them, I could not return them; however, now they are broken in and the scratching has stopped. It is a good thing I do not have any vascular disease or diabetes as that abrasion could have become a major issue. I would also have preferred that they had more sheep skin lining. It seems a bit skimpy. Overall though, I am happy with the product. It keeps my feet warm in the cold winter.

Love these slippers but my shoe size is 9 1/2 - 10 and the size 10 I purchased are a little small

I purchased these with the clogs in blue, and have been truly satisfied. They are warm and toasty, fit perfectly -- after I wore them a day or two, true to the included instructions -- and were a really good value. I am not one who spends alot of money on myself, but when I do, I expect a lot of the product(s), and that is exactly what I got!

I love these slippers. This is my 3rd pair ( my foot seems to be growing as I get older!) only wish they had an indoor/outdoor sole for trips to the birdfeeder, mailbox, etc.

I have always loved these slippers, & still do. But I do think the quality is down somewhat in the last several pairs that I have gotten. I will still get them for myself & reccomend them to others, just not as highly as before.
