Unfortunately I had to return these. Width was way too narrow at the toes and overall fit was too small. Because I have a wider foot I re-ordered the same style in a men's size. I love the slipper and the fleece. I hope the next ones fit!!! I highly recommend the Wicked Good Slipper -- one pair I had lasted nearly 10 years! Very well made and durable!

I wear and 8 1/2 shoe and instruction for the slippers were 1/2 size order up. I ordered a size 9 and they were way to big. Easily exchanged them for a size 8 which is a perfect comfortable fit. Love the slippers.

This is my 4th pair of these slippers. They are warm, comfy, and usually hug my feet in just the right places. I do have a narrow foot, and in the past, even though they were listed as wide - they arrived snug enough, and after
wearing a bit, got wider but still comfortable. This year, they arrived wider than in the past. However, they are so comfy, I am keeping them for their warmth and durability. I highly recommend them for comfort, warmth, and durability.

I've purchased many of these women's slippers. I have purchased a size 8 (which I am)
but they're too small -- I've bought size 9 and it's too large!! Also, when
I last bought a pair appx. 1 mo. ago, I ordered brown and they sent TAN.
Too much trouble sending back so I kept them. Much too large.
Not happy.

I have worn the slippers several times and have found them to be warm and cozy. I ordered a 9 which is my shoe size, I probably should have ordered a half size larger as they are snug in the toe area. I am assuming that they will stretch out so I am not sending them back at this time.

Most comfortable slippers only reason 4 stars is the stitching wears out

These slippers are warm and do not slide on wood floors. My only issue with both the preceding pairs and this recent one is that my left foot slides to the left side of the slipper -- probably because the slippers are just a tiny bit too narrow. Nonetheless, I keep buying them because they are the best on the market with a soft sole.

These slippers feel wonderful, very soft and warm. For me, next time I will purchase the Mocs, so as to have a more stable shoe bottom. I tend to turn my ankle and I need a flatter bottom. There is nothing wrong with these, they feel wonderful, and keep my feet warm, even before the fire gets going to heat the house up!

I love these cozy slippers. However, the nap of the wool is backwards and pulls my sock down into the slipper which is very frustrating. This needs to be changed. Other than that, the slippers are great.

I wear a 6.5 shoe, occasionally a 7 depending on the shoe, so I sized up to a 7 in these slippers as recommended when I bought them a few years ago. I should have ordered the size 6 - these stretched with wear and feel floppy and uncomfortable when I walk, so I seldom wear them.
Now, my mother wears an 8 on her right foot and an 8.5 on her left, and often she has to purchase two pairs of the same shoe. It just occurred to me that these slippers might work for her, so I had her try them on. Guess what: the right slipper fits "great" and the left slipper feels "a little snug" but might be doable. She's been wearing them now for almost an hour with no complaints.
My personal recommendation: these slippers stretch. If in doubt, size down!

I love these slippers so much, they are exactly what I have been looking for. I gave it four stars out of five because the small thread stitching at the toe hadn't been stitched properly and started to unravel. I sewed it back myself but for the cost of the slipper I would have hoped for better quality.

I also have been getting these slippers for decades and have loved them. My last pair wasn't as great as the side stitching is coming out- I have never had this happen before-L.L. Bean what is up???

The padded sole of the slippers seems a bit narrow for the actual width of the shoe, over time your foot will run over the side seam. They are the perfect fit otherwise, so I don't think ordering a size up would fix things. I wear Bean wool socks with them and already order up to a size 8 from my usual 7. Not by any means a deal breaker, just an annoyance in an other wise great shearling slipper. You simply can not beat natural materials for staying warm. These slippers are so perfect for keeping by the bed on a winter night. The soft soles are perfect for padding around the house. We have wood floors and I do not like to wear regular shoes in the house. These are my second pair despite the narrow sole issue.

These slippers are very warm even without socks. Until the sheepskin compresses a little I can not wear these with socks (too tight). Many years ago I had gotten this type of slipper and the outside was more like leather than suede. They were much easier to put on. These slippers are suede and very soft so I can't just slip them on without using my hands. Overall they are very nice and warm.

I suffer from cold feet all my life and it doesn't take much for them to get cold. Typically, I wear a 6.5-7 shoe. Usually it is 6.5 for shoes or flats and 7 for sneakers and some boots/booties. I ordered these in a size 7 and was surprised at how snug they fit. The inside really does have a lot of cozy material. I preferred the 7 over the 6.5 because I enjoy wearing socks with my slippers as an extra layer of warmth. Luckily, I'm still able to wear socks with the size 7 without it being too small, I just can't wear very thick socks. The fabric also stretches a bit, so that helps. When I first slipped them on, I was very happy with how comfortable they were. It seems like it had some sort of memory foam or something on the sole and it was very nice to wear. As these seem to be one of the warmer slippers by LL Bean, I was expecting no issues in keeping my feet warm and for the most part, except maybe a few nights where I just couldn't get warm, they did a good job.
Now that I've had the slippers for about a month, here are some of my issues with the slippers: One, there is no sole on the bottom, something I overlooked when purchasing these slippers. It seemed a bit unstable when walking, as if your foot shifted or rolled-like to the left or right. Not enough to sprain an ankle, but it was still odd to get used to. Now that I've been wearing them for a month, I don't notice it or it no longer does that as it basically makes an imprint of your foot into the sole of the slipper. The downside to that, is the "cozy" material I mentioned above pretty much wears down where your foot makes the most impact. This leaves the arch with tufts of the "cozy" material, so the sole becomes a bit unbalanced. I hope I'm explaining this right. Yes, I feel, with socks, it keeps my feet warm, but I wish I would have purchased a set that had a sole versus just fabric on the bottom. I also wish that it kept the shape of the sole better as they were super comfortable when I first started wearing them, but I feel after only a month, I've kind of worn them in. Not very good considering the cost of these slippers.

I don't usually write reviews but these are so warm and soft. I'm normally an 8.5 and it says to order a half size up, so I ordered a 9. They were HUGE after breaking them in for a day or so. Called in and exchanged for an 8. Seemed very snug when I received them but after wearing them for a couple of days they are also quite big. Definitely order down. I will keep them bc they are so comfy, but the sizing is off.

I have never been a slipper person before but I have worn these slippers almost everyday, as long as I'm in the house, since I received them. They are so cozy warm and comfortable. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the right slipper seems to feel a little different than the left (which is perfect), but it is probably my foot and not the slipper.

I bought these slippers several years ago and haven't worn them very often. I do like the shearling and the way that they feel on my feet, but the main problem is that putting them on and taking them off takes some effort - I have to actually pull each one on rather than just sliding my foot into it. And I don't feel that they work all that well when in bed, at least for me. So unless I am feeling particularly cold and need my feet to be warmer (which sometimes happens), they just seem too much trouble. The other downside is that they cannot really be worn outside at all. I wish I had chosen a slip-on pair,of shearling slippers with indoor-outdoor soles. Sometime I guess I will have to splurge and buy a pair, but that seems sort of wasteful since I already have these. They are warm and comfortable though.

I purchased these new Wicked Good slippers to replace my old ones which were the best slippers ever and lasted 6 years. Unfortunately, the exact same size and model no longer fits. The new slipper has a extremely narrow toebox, and they actually hurt my toes when I try to stand in them. I'm very disappointed that LLBean has chosen to not offer womens slippers in wide options, which is very unfair, as they offer men wide sizes! I'm extremely disappointed in LLBean's decision to make these far too narrow and not offer women wide widths, it's just so unfair! Additionally, they no longer have the leather strip covering the top seam, so they won't be weatherproof anymore. My old slippers, once sprayed with a waterproofer for suede, kept out snow when I went to the mailbox - these will not, it will just seep in this exposed top seam. Disappointed in LLBean's poor design decisions, unfair sizing options, and narrow pointy toebox. Order a size up or be prepared for a painful break-in period!

I've had these slippers for a few days now. As others have said, they're definitely tight when you first get them. However, they've loosened up a great deal since wearing them. I like for my slippers to fit snugly though, so didn't want to order a size up.
One thing that is very aggravating about these is that the lambswool lining shed all over my couch when I first got them. So after giving them a "haircut" that problem went away. For the amount of money these cost, I would expect not to have a problem like that.
I'm also not crazy about the color choices. They look a little masculine to me, but I guess I'll get over that. I did a lot of searching before choosing these, and they seemed to be the best for what I wanted, which was something that did a good job at keeping my feet warm.

I am barely a 9.5 and ordered the size ten. They are very snug on a bare foot---forget socks. Because they are so warm, socks won't be needed, but still the snug fit is a big surprise. So ORDER UP!!! Then, you will be very happy all winter with these on your feet.

These slippers may be good but they will be my last pair as ll bean NEVER puts them on sale NOR gives 10-20% off so you can get a break.
I guess ll bean folks only want RICH people buying from them.

These are wonderful warm and comfy slippers, fine fit, etc. Unfortunately for (lazy) me, I can't just 'slip' into them but have to hold the tab in the back to find my way in. Then I'm happy as can be.

These slippers are every bit as cozy and comfortable as other reviewers note. However, I returned my first pair due to a bunching up of the shearling in the right slipper near the toes, as though it hadn't been adhered correctly. True to their reputation, LL Bean replaced them with another pair. However, the second pair has the same issue, in the same right slipper (no problems with the left). I didn't see this issue in other reviews, so wanted to point it our as a potential issue in case anyone else notices it.
