These boots were returned because they were too hard (tight) to pull on and take off - not quite enough room to put your foot in with wool socks on. Briefly walking around my living room, they felt really comfortable. I think they would be perfect if they had a side zipper.

Even though the boot looks very nice, I was not able to slide my foot in the shoe! I wear a 7.5 but I just think the opening was not wide enough for my foot to slip in. I am disappointed because I like the style and color.

The boot itself is great, but it is extremely difficult to get on your foot. For this reason, we are returning. Suggest placing a zipper on the side.

These seemed perfect, until I tried to put them on. The top is too narrow and inflexible to get my feet in or out without lots of discomfort. I wish they fit. I had to return them.

Wide size too tight. Slip on a struggle (even adjusting for width) Returning. Will try half size up in a shorter or laced version.

Nicely made, the good quality I expected. Unfortunately I couldnt get them on my feet. If your instep is high at all, your foot cant get past the ankle of the boot. Exchanged them for a different style that had a zipper. Much easier to put on!
Recommend that try them before you buy them.

Although the item is my true shoe size, it's construction makes it IMPOSSIBLE to put on. I will return them for a refund. I'm sad because I like the design.

These snow boots are well made and easy to pull on. Unfortunately, the tongue came up high and it was really stiff. I believe it may not affect everyone but it was too high up on the foot. When I walked, my foot would not bend due to the stiffness. I did not want to keep them and hope the more I walked the better it would feel. I have trouble with my feet anyway. I really hoped they would have worked out for me! I love LL Bean clothes and did have a pair of snow boots, but I outgrew them, and they don't carry those anymore.

They keep your feet warm and dry and offer safe traction. If you order the half size up, they arent hard to put on. Good looking, too!

I liked the look of the boot, and was hoping for a quick on/off, but after 10 minutes trying each foot, i could not get either boot on. Sadly returning. I dont have time to struggle putting on shoes/boots etc. even with a shoe horn I couldnt get my slender foot in!

First I had to send them back and order a half size larger than I normally wear. And there is no question that they are extremely difficult to get on! However, once they are on, they are more comfortable than any of my other shoes! So I have begun wearing them all the time so that I don't have to take them off except to go to bed. I may keep them on until spring so that I don't have to put them on again, but they sure do feel good once they are on!

Pros: warm, nice looking for a casual shoe/boot, good grip for wet weather, easy to take off but….
Cons: tough to put on-takes time, patience, and brute force. I have higher arches than average and often have trouble with shoes/boots that are pull-on (as opposed to laced up, which allows more flexibility); so these are tight across the top of my feet. Enough so that I feel my toes getting numb when driving. I’m working on stretching the midsection and hope I can relax them enough to make them comfortable. They seem well-made, but time will tell about durability.

This boot is so hard to get your foot into I thought I would have to return it. The pull strap in the back is insufficient. I hope it stretches because it is quite comfortable when you finally force your foot in. I was considering buying the yellow rain shoes too but I think they'll have the same problem.
