I'm going to exchange this boot for a smaller size because my heel lifts out. They just aren't as great as my old pair that isn't made for women any more.

They were a bit tight around the ankle and I felt I couldn't flex my foot much. They were very nice boots, but with my feet they just didn't work well. I returned them with no problems and got a store credit. I think they were sized appropriately.

I have to go outside during the day at work, and these are perfect. I can wear all day- inside and outside.

The top of the tongues dig into my shins and makes these very nice looking boots impossible to wear. Sorry to eay they are painful.

Boot was extremely narrow, couldnt put it on, despite ordering per the sizing guide. Shaped like a cowboy boot, not an outside walking or hiking boot.

Bought these boots for Alaska in the winter. They performed perfectly. As mentioned in previous reviews, the tongue was a bit stiff at first. I softened it up by bending and flexing it. That helped and I havent noticed it since. I wear a womans size 8 and bought these in an 8. True to fit and allows room for a bulkier sock. Good waterproofing and my feet stayed warm and dry.

I had to return these. They were hitting my shin and I knew that I couldn't wear them. So I returned them because I knew I would never wear them. Very painful..

This has been a fabulous boot. I had tried several other boots before making this purchase. I can wear these for significant walking distances without soreness. Has kept my feet warm in frigid cold conditions.

These boots are comfortable and toasty warm! I was able to wear them all day for the first wear and it was like I had worn them forever. I am very happy with them!

Nice and warm, seem well made. The size runs big...I ordered a half size smaller than usual and still had room for extra thick socks. But the sole does not have the traction I was hoping for...they were more slippery than expected on icy/snowy hike.

I am disappointed that I couldn't find a good fit with these boots from LL. They come in half sizes, so I thought I would try them, also the style appealed to me. I normally take size 7.5, however, they were too tight with the midweight socks I prefer in boots. The store kindly ordered the size 8 for me to try. These also were tight in the toe box and too stiff around the top to allow comfort on my shin bone. I really wanted to have these boots work, but the fit just wasn't right for me. Alas I sent them back.

I like that the boots are waterproof and have a nice wide toe box. However, the top of the boot is very stiff and dug in to my lower leg, bruising my left shin. The only way that I can wear these boots is to not lace them up all the way to the top. That way, there's more flexibility and the top edge does not dig into my leg.

Well made boot, but was too stiff to tighten around the ankle. I did return them.

I really want to like this boot because it is hard to find one with such great materials, and not to mention lighter weight, but it was definitely not true to size. I never have trouble if I order my typical size and this was so big I could fit my hand inside the boot next to my ankle. Frustrating that I have to pay to return this when it's so off.

I so wanted these to work because they were advertised as a low, lightweight but insulated boot. In the "size and fit" section, while it does say to order your regular size, it also says - "Size 10 1/2 wearers, order size 11". I ordered the 11 per that sizing instruction, and the boot was HUGE! It wasn't even just a little big - my foot was swimming in the boot. And, when I returned it to my local outlet store and gave the reason for the return, the salesperson couldn't believe that was the instruction on the website since he had never heard of LL Bean boots needing to be sized up. Very disappointing.

They may be great but not for me. I didn't even try them on. Just picking them out of the box they were too stiff and heavy. I should have read the description better.

I bought these last season and wore twice. Second season took out and wore a few times outside. Looked down this morning and rubber area is completely cracked and split. Disappointing as they were warm and waterproof.

Although these are very cute! They are not flexible at all. I am choosing to return them to find something more comfortable.

My feet wobbles in this boot. Not a secure fit. I have a pair from 2016 and those fit comfortably. This new design is saddened my heart cause the past storm chaser boots are so reliable and comfortable. Please go back to original designer.

The top of the boot digs into my leg. Will be returning for credit.

I purchased these boots in October, starting wearing them in the beginning of December and the stitching came apart on the top of the boot after 7 days of wearing them.

I averaged 6 miles a day in two winters in the first pair of these boots. Bought a second pair and they are coming apart at the seam. Can count on one hand the amount of time them have been worn, no snow yet. VERY DISSAPOINTED

I've had this pair and the rubber is cracking and falling apart.
