This is my second pair of LL Bean snow boots. My other ones are great, but not very functional for running around work all day. These boots are perfect, keep my feet super warm and dry, and I don't have difficulty driving with them on. Slightly bigger than a perfect fit, but they're just what I needed for those snowy days at work!

I got these to use on the farm but I opted to wear them on the airplane and to visit meat plants. They have great grip and are warm and comfortable. I know they're not really stylish for travel, but they're too nice to get muddy!

I was pleased with how warm they kept my feet in the snow and temperatures that were less than 32 degrees. I rated a 4 stars because I would have like them to have a little more cushion.

The neck of the boot rubs uncomfortably against my shin so I cannot wear them for more than half of mile. Hopefully they will soften as I break them in. These are insulated, waterproof, and classically styled. There is room for heavy socks with my regular shoe size.

I like the style of this boot and I bought the recommended size, however, I found them to be bigger than expected and overly stiff.

I live in upstate New York. It will soon be snow weather, and I wanted a good pair of boots. I have always gotten my boots from LL Bean and this year is no different. I ordered size 8.5 med. which is my shoe size. They fit great! They are well made and comfortable on. I wear thicker socks in the winter and the boot size will not be a problem. We haven't had cold or snowy weather yet, so I haven't worn them. Yes, I would recommend them to others.

Roomy toe box worked for feet that are used to minimalist shoes. Initially, the ankle was a bit uncomfortable / stiff - especially when flexing foot. Pressing the tongue in before tightening the laces helped a lot. As did wearing them for a while. All in all quite pleased with this purchase. I wear a European size 41 and the 9 1/2 fit well

I love the style, the higher top gives my ankles support. The rubber soles and top keep me warm and dry. The treads make me feel safe on snow and ice, the only reason that I have them a 4 is because they are heavy and kind of clumsy to walk on, however with time I will probably get used to it. Also wish they came in a wide , especially with thick socks. I can tell they are made very well and will last years so well worth the price.

I bought when we were having day after day snow. LL Bean insisted if I normally wear an 8 wide that I should get an 8 Medium. WRONG! Too snug to wear comfortably even with a thin sock. Probably will return. Would recommend if you buy your usual size.

I've always wanted one of these type boots and know that I live on a lake, I found this one on sale. It's a good looking boot with rubber on the toe and some warm lining at the top interior. I would like the rubber material to go around the boot for easier cleaning. My rating of 4 is due to a wish for more padding on the interior floor of the shoe. The shoelaces are very long and need double knotting or they come untied (no upper brackets to go around the ankle one more time.

Toasted coconut color is much darker in person. It also runs very large. I'm typically a 7.5 or sometimes an 8 if there is no half sizing. I ordered a 7.5 in these and they are big on me. They're very stiff but probably just need to be broken in. Excellent quality though and I do plan on exchanging for the smaller size

They were a bit tight around the ankle and I felt I couldn't flex my foot much. They were very nice boots, but with my feet they just didn't work well. I returned them with no problems and got a store credit. I think they were sized appropriately.

Perfect fit, and no rubbing the Achilles heel or ankle or other spots other boots often hit. Good traction in the ice.

These are so comfortable and warm! Sizing is tricky. Have to try them on. So many compliments. My only suggestion...keep carrying these and make the fur at the top the same color as the boot. The off white fur on mine are turning blue from the dye in my jeans due to high snow!

These boots are ok with a thick sock. DO NOT STAY TIED! Had to replce laces that do

Tongue is very stiff of different material from former model and current model for men. I wish that they had kept the old design. Once I have broken tongue in, they will be the best rain boot. Very comfortable foot bed and support.

Stiff tongue is too long and jabbed me in the leg when I took a step

These boots are warm and good quality. The only issue is the top part is loose when I walk. If I tie them tighter they hurt my ankles. Also a little heavier than I expected. True to size for me. Customer service awesome and helpful!

the boots were warm sturdy and comfortable .... but not water proof!

Good looking, light weight. But the comparison to a sneaker in the description is really a stretch, since it is entirely boot-like. Also, my legs got really sore from how the top edge presses against my shins. They are breaking in, and I think I'll be OK, but I thought they would be comfortable right out of the box. So, good basic boot- well made. But disappointing because I wanted them for long walks and I have to keep using my hiking boots for that this winter instead.

These boots are nice and warm. Great quality.

They do run larger than my normal size. I order an 8 1/2 and exchanged for an 8. Honestly I could wear a 7 1/2 better but I hate to return them again. Very well made product though and they definitely product my feet from the rain!

Nice boot - however I found them to be slippery in a few inches of snow. Not the grip I thought they would have. I've only used them once shoveling.

I wish I could rate these higher, I really liked these boots! I bought a pair in my normal size and then ended up having to exchange them for a smaller size as I hadn't realized that the sizing runs very large to accommodate heavier socks. I had the smaller pair for about a month and wore them only 3 times. They are very comfortable and lightweight which was nice as I bought them to wear while commuting. Unfortunately, after only this minimal wear, one of the leather straps that holds the plastic eyelets in place ripped. It was incredibly disappointing as most of the boot feels very sturdy besides the thin leather strap/plastic eyelet combination. Unsure if I'll want to exchange them for a new pair or just return them and find different boots instead as this seems like it could be a design flaw. 3 stars because I did really like them before my pair started self-destructing.
