These are well made protective boots. Exactly what I was looking for with snow, mud and slush. Even though the length is perfect in these boots, they unfortunately have too much volume to them. I have to put on two pairs of meidum to thick socks to fill the boot up to get it to fit snugly on the top and sides. My feet slide around too much otherwise. And I cannot tighten them enough to make a difference.

I was in great need of a waterproof shoe for walking my dog. I put my foot in the shoe and it felt great, laced it up, took a step and ouch. The top of the shoe was too wide, couldn't tighten it to fit snugly against my shin. With each step, the top of the shoe moved and bumped against my shin. Tried a heavy pair of high socks but that didn't help. Very disappointed.

I like the way this boot looked but.,,not it is not like a sneaker comfort as advertised. I am a winter walker who walks about 3-4 miles with my dog daily. After wearing the boot 2 days in a row the top of my feet hurt. There is a seam on the top of the boot and right where the seam is hurt the top of my feet. Just to wear from the house, to the car, into the store is probably ok, but definitely not as a winter walking boot as advertised.

One of the reviews I had read before I purchased stated it was very uncomfortable around the front of the leg, but there were so many positive reviews and pics, I HAD to have. Tried on immediately when they arrived, and it took a few tries before I learned in order to be super comfortable to loosely tie laces, and wa la! Awesome little boots!

I really like these boots and the design change. Purchase your normal size. I always size up for boots by a half size, but my normal size was perfect. Although, they are not as "cushy" as a pair of sneakers, they do wear like them. They are nice and light weight. The best thing is the small differential (not much difference between heel and toe height). This puts your foot in a more neutral position and closer to being "flat" on the ground, providing for a natural gait. The only problem I have is the volume of the boot. Length and width are normal, but the instep, or top of boot, has a lot of room. Because of this, my feet "swim" around a bit. I have to wear 2 pairs of socks to alleviate this, but I am ok with that. I have thinner, lower volume feet, so it is something I have to accept with a boot like this. Love them. Very comfortable and good performance!

These boots are so well-constructed. You can feel how sturdy they are when you're wearing them and yet they are extremely comfortable. I love how toasty warm my feet feel when I'm wearing them. They make a great winter boot and I'm so glad I purchased them.

I wear a 7 or 7.5 depending on the shoe. I went with a 7 in these boots and they fit perfectly with just enough room left. I was looking for something a bit warmer than my unlined Bean Boots that would be just as comfy and these are it. They have laces but are also easy enough to slip on and off.

I bought these boots for my mom to wear now that it's turned much colder. She's had the opportunity to wear them so far once in the snow and she said they were warm and offered traction when walking! She said they're comfortable, and that they accommodate her wide-width feet well!

I love these boots. True to size they fit comfortably. Today I finally wore them in heavy snow. The soles grip very well and the boots were toasty warm. The boots are light weight.

Quite honestly, from the moment I put these boots on, I knew they were right for me. This is the most comfortable pair of boots I have worn in years. They are exactly what I wanted. Light weight, water proof, exactly what was needed.

These are the perfect all weather boots! Comfortable, warm, and streamlined enough to wear all day in lieu of shoes. This is handy because my job has me going in and out all day. Extremely well made.

The Storm Chaser Boots are warm and comfortable right out of the box. They're sturdy and well made with quality leather, yet they're only slightly heavier than a running shoe.

This is a "backup" pair for me. I bought a pair of these two years ago and use them a lot in the winter. Love the waterproof bottom and the comfortable fit. I got the feeling that, since the other color was no longer offered they might be discontinuing them so I feel lucky I got another pair.

Had to break it in for a day. I didn't need to size up. Keeps my feet dry and warm. Grippy undersoles.

These boots are awesome. Everything I was looking for in a dog walking, creek crossing, forest traipsing, snow shoveling boot. I expect to have them for years to come.

It's taken a little time to get use to rhe extra weight. The shoes protect my feet very well.

Perfect fit, true to size, plenty of room for old crooked toes. Very easy on and off. Nor as heavy as a hiking boot, and ideal for dealing with snow and cold.

I just can't believe it! I imagined these boots to be weighty and was afraid with a current health condition they would be too much to lug through the snow. Was I ever wrong! Its so nice to be wrong! They were wonderfully comfortable and they did the job!

I bought these boots for my wife. She is very pleased with the quality, look, comfort and warmth of the boot. She tried on a 6.5 as that is the size she wears in regular shoes and/or sneakers. The 6.5 was to big. She tired on the 6 and the fit was great. Boots are the right height and weight.
