These are the BEST shoes ever for anyone with foot issues. They do have a wide toe box, which is a godsend for people like me who have bunions and foot arthritis. They are sized differently than regular shoes, so people need to measure their feet to get the best fit. I normally wear a 10 wide shoe but in these I wear an 11 wide (D) and in some other styles, an 11.5 D. The special sizing info does not appear on Zappos site but is on the company website. I can barely wear shoes at all--these made all the difference. The Orthofeet shoes made it possible for me to actually wear shoes and to also have sandals that are comfortable. Anyone who does not like them probably doesn't need them and should go back to regular shoes. These are fantastic for anyone with foot issues.

I ordered two pair of Orthofeet in narrow width and returned both. They fit like regular width shoes, which are too wide for a narrow foot, and include a selection of inserts that need to be added to "customize" the fit. I think they would be comfortable for regular width feet, but stuffing the shoe with inserts and pads doesn't make a wide shoe fit well on a narrow foot. If insoles were the solution, all the narrow size shoe shoppers would have no problems!

I was looking for a shoe with great arch support, a wide toe box and a good heal cup. I learned about OrthoFeet while searching for orthopedic shoes. These shoes are very well constructed thought out. They come with additional inserts to help adjust the fit. But the most amazing part to me is, in addition to all that, there is an insert to add greater arch and heel support. The shoes fit great, are comfortable and provide great support. I am very pleased with them!

I have a wide foot and ordered the Orthofeet Coral in the EE width. The footbed did not look like a wide shoe but I coudn't really tell you since I couldn't even get my foot into the shoe. I have a high arch and because the shoe does not open completely at the top of the laces, my foot would not slide into the shoe. This is the first time I have tried this type of lace and will not do so again. Low rating bc I coudn't even get it on.

There are a lot of pros to these shoes: customizable arch support, extra laces, spacers, look good, deep for custom orthotics, and removable footbeds. However, I found the toe box not at all to my liking and the uppers lacked support which was an odd feeling after wearing New Balance 1540v3s for the past year. With a more natural toe box these shoes might be amazing.

So comfy! I need a wide toe box and these are the widest I have found. Good support-I have heel pain and it goes away when wearing these. Also ordered many other wide shoes and these were the widest (Brooks Ghost 14, Ryka Daydream, Easy Spirit Romy, ASICS Gel Cumulus)

These are the most comfortable shoes I have had in years. I have a short wide foot. I am an old lady now, and my feet have lengthened in my old age so I now wear a 6 1/2 extra wide. Most shoes don't have enough room in the toes. These do. Most shoes have no arch support. These do. And one little extra I like is that the loop on the heel one uses to help pull the shoe on is big enough. to fit a finger for grabbing. These came with 2 pair of insoles one can add to adjust the fit. They are the correct size. (If you have ever tried to cut down the "one size fits all" insoles, you will really appreciate this.) They came with bright green trim and laces, but, included is a nice pair of less flashy laces for that of us who prefer a more conservative approach. They also come with a pair of plastic pieces called "arch boosters" with instructions, but I haven't tried them because the shoes are so perfect as is. They aren't really very attractive. As with most sneakers, the sole part is white while the "shoe" part is another color. It also makes them look bulky. I prefer my footwear to be a little more unobtrusive. But for comfort like this, I am willing to sacrifice style.

It seems Ortho shoes run small. The shoe is attractive and I like the Light Grey color. I ordered a 6M but probably would have been better with a 6.5M. However, I chose to return and not reorder because the arch was too high and painful. I have a normal arch but pronate a lot. It also rode up and down on my heel a little even though the shoe was short for me.

Shoes were soooo comfortable! I wore them 3 to 4 times a week for a1 mile walk and they helped correct my gait and over time reduce some serious hip pain. Unfortunately barely 6 months in and the sole is wearing through on the heels. See attached photo-- all the little hexagon nibs are worm smooth on the left shoe and about half way gone on the right.) I haven't even work them much in January and February as the weather has been tooo cold for mesh sneakers.

The shoes are so comfortable! As someone with extra wide feet, I can instantly tell if the shoe has been properly designed for my feet. And the added bonus of it looking fashionable is awesome!

The fit is spot on. The toe box is roomy ( an absolute for my feet). Lots of arch support and comfort! I’m a fan.

Fit did not work for me. I have bunions and a narrow heel. The heel on these shoes is very very wide for me. The bunion area was fine, but the shoe did not have enough support for my overpronation, and the shoes felt Very Warm, probably because they have a lining that is comfortable to protect against irritation but simply does not breathe. Also, my toes went right to the end of the shoe, which is unusual for me as I mainly have issues with the width for my bunions and narrow heels.

The length was good, but the toe box was too narrow for me.

I tried the Coral in the turquoise color in a 10W, my typical size. Excellent shoe that came with Orthofeet's standard internal helpers for increasing the support and elevating the fit. In addition to the lime green laces, this pair included more subdued silver laces with a hint of lime, an extra I appreciate. The fit and support are great! However, as i could keep only one pair due to my strict budgeting, this shoe lost out to Mizuno. I plan to try Orthofeet again next year as another pair of sneakers wears out. I wish I could have kept this one!

I LOVE these! I wore them on a 2 week tour of Japan. There were days we walked as much as ten miles and I felt great at the end of every day. I have bad feet and the wrong shoes can make my feet and my back hurt. These shoes have fixed that. Best walking shoes I’ve ever had. One disclosure: I wear custom orthotics so I can’t speak to the arch support.

I love these shoes. They fit well through the instep but also have ample room in the toe box and they provide cushion, but also support. So comfortable to walk in and attractive enough to wear with nice casual outfits. Best walking shoes I've ever owned. Full disclosure: I use custom orthotics in my shoes.

The shoe string broke after 2nd time of wearing them.

The fit and size was perfect, I love how they give you 2 sets of spacers just in case you have to much room in the heel. I also love the removable inserts for the heel. I didn't feel any heel pain the next day as to where I usually do with Plantar Fasciitis. The only thing is the shoe lace/bungee cord thing. It broke as I was tightening thing up. I hate that it broke because I loved these shoes.

I love these shoes! I ordered 3 pair of different shoes and decided on this one. I'm recovering from a broken foot. I'm out of a boot now but the bottom of my foot has been terribly sore. My foot and ankle are stiff and walking normally is hard due to how much the bottom of my foot hurts. Also, my foot visibly turns inward when I take a step. I put these shoes on with the arch support that goes under the insole. I also used the 1/16 leveler and I could tell a difference right away. The pain in the bottom of my foot subsided almost immediately. I am still walking slowly but I'm walking with less pain and my foot doesn't turn in. I wear an 11 wide and have bunions. The width fits well and doesn't hurt my bunions. The leveler keeps the shoes from slipping on my heel. Typically, I don't wear shoes in the house, but I've been wearing these shoes constantly.

Love these shoes. It takes some time to experiment with removable optional arch support and spacers, but when that is done they are wonderful. Although they’re pretty orthopedic, the jazzy green laces on the grey ones perk them up. I get compliments. The most incredible walking shoe I have ever had for my size 11N feet!!!! I walk five miles in these shoes and I do not have any pain from my waist down to my baby toes!!!!!!!!!! Plan on purchasing another pair after the new year.
