I wanted to love these SO BAD the buckle hits my baby toe & rubs it every time I walk. I walked around the house not wanting to give up sadly back they go. I'll go back to an old favorite Arizona.

I got the Mocha Birkibuc color and unlike the photo the writing on the soles is black unlike the traditional gold color I've seen on other Birks. I was looking at this sandal on Amazon as well and several reviews commented that dupes had black lettering instead of gold. They are very comfortable however, and if they are fakes they did a good job copying the original.
I'm not disappointed by the actual shoe, but if I'm getting fake Birkenstocks I could've gotten them for a lot cheaper than this one.

Cute shoe. The straps were comfortable. Unfortunately, Birks just don’t fit my arch and I had to return. As always, great service from Zappos!

I wanted to love these. They fit pretty well, albeit a little wide on my medium foot, but back they go. I hated the shiny cream colored upper material. I don't know what it is, but it isn't leather and the shine just gave the shoe a weird vibe. I expected it to be more white so maybe that's my fault, but you can't tell about the shine from the pics so beware. I may still try another style.

I thought this would be my next happy Birkenstock purchase, an easy slam-dunk follow-up to my Gizeh purchase. Sadly I did not like the fit or look of it, so back it goes! I thought I'd like this better than the OG Arizona slide, however after trying it on, I think I'll opt for the Arizona in either traditional suede or a fun, shiny color. Moving on & sending this back for someone else's dreams to come true.

I really like the strap style of these Birks and wore them around the house for a while to try them out since it has been a long time since I've worn Birks. But I guess my feet are just needing more padding in the ball of my foot - these are just too stiff. I'll have to try the soft footbed style - wish they made those in the Mayari!

I like these shoes but like other reviews say they run a half size large. The contouring in the footbed must fit perfect or they are not comfortable at all. The footbed is hard but with the contouring the shoes provide great arch support. The color is my only disappointment. I ordered tobacco because I really liked the vintage look to the color. However, my pair is just a light brown with zero color variation. I thought maybe the issue was just a difference in the picture on the website and the actual product until my mom ordered the exact same shoe in tobacco and her pair does have the color variation. Now I am even more disappointed since I really wanted the vintage look. I plan to wear these on a upcoming trip so I don’t want the hassle of returning them for the true color I ordered.

First of all, these are most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. The arch support is fantastic, and after a short break-in period the shoes feel like an extension of your feet. HOWEVER, if you wear these a lot like I did, the cork footbed will start to crack and peel in any areas of stress. This happened to me after wearing them for only one summer (about 3 months). When I emailed Birkenstock about this issue, they simply said "everyone wears them differently." For a $100 sandal, that's not an appropriate response. So, yes, they're extremely comfortable, but they are NOT long-lasting. If they were cheaper I might consider repurchasing them every summer, but at this price point that's not a possibility for me, so I'll be steering clear of Birkenstocks from now on.

I am a long time Birkenstock wearer. The toe loop was really tight and bit into my skin. I will be returning these.

I normally wear 35 in sandals, and 36 in closed heel shoes, however, these felt like they were at least a couple of sizes too large (I ordered 35), with a 3/4" gap between my heel and the heel of the sandal.

These looked better in the box then on. They would be great for someone else’s but didn’t fit me correctly as they were too big.

Not the quality I expected. These have your typical Birks comfort and the toe strap is cute, but both shoes are failing in the same spot - the cork is crumbling where the toe strap attaches. My pair is a little over a year old and lightly worn. They don't have many more miles before they will be garbage. It's not the shoe to buy if you're hoping to get some years of reliable wear.

So, I bought these shoes as I have been struggling with some feet issues, but also wanted something that looked cute. I was hopeful for these shoes, but I was also a little doubtful, as I have very thick (deep, tall?) feet and a lot of the times shoes w/straps on my foot, near my ankle just aren't long enough. I saw on the Birkenstock website that they actually market this shoe to men and women, and so I thought I'd give it a chance, as I sometimes do better with men's sandals than women's (though they are not as cute at all).
First I loved the way my foot/sole felt in these shoes. I felt like the regular width did really well with my fred flintstone wide feet. I was very excited to be able to wear them. The straps around my big toe/toes felt fine, as far as the trying them on process went. But alas, as I had feared, the strap closer to the ankle was not long enough for my foot :( . I'm sad that these didn't fit my feet, but I have ordered other styles in hopes that those ones will.

I love my Birkenstock Gizeh style and, after purchasing a knockoff Mayari style that I love thought I would purchase the really thing. Unfortunately this pair feels incredibly stiff. Love the color and the copper buckles. I did also order the vegan faux leather in anthracite and I’m keeping those, they did not feel so unforgiving.

Second try at the Mayari, and second fail. I have been wearing a 39 Birkenstock for years and years, and when I went to replace my Mayaris last year, the new pair did not fit; the regular (not narrow) was way narrower than my old pair. This year, I tried to go up a size. They definitely fit better, but my arch was still hanging over the sides and the ankle strap was gaping in a weird way that looked unattractive and would probably give me blisters. Holding my old Mayari shoes up to the new ones, the footbed has clearly changed shape/size. Birkenstock, why?! Why would you do this! Not sure if I will try a different style Birkenstock or give up altogether. I love them as a summer-long go-to shoe. Thanks for helping me try, Zappos. We'll win again sometime soon.

I purchased these shoes to wear after knee surgery because it was flat. But I didn't find the shoe comfortable in the toe area, and the "lip" around the footbed didn't feel like the foot would stay in place as I need it to. I found the amount of support to be negligible; more than none but insufficient for my needs.
For those of you who do not have these same concerns, the straps are nicely adjustable. The shoes seem to be well made. They definitely are flat! Under different circumstances, I might be inclined to keep and wear them. Overall, I prefer my Alegria shoes, and I actually found a pair of Keen brand shoes that I like a lot!

This shoe fit in size/width in my usual size, but I had to return it. I heard they start out “hard” or “stiff” and then break in to fit your feet, but I wouldn’t have lasted in them that long. When I was younger they probably would’ve been fine, but at 59 I’m needing a softer, more forgiving sole.

I normally wear a 6.5. This shoe was a 36 (supposedly a 5.5), and it still swamped my feet! I also didn't like the stiffness, though I probably should have expected that in a Birkenstock. Cute style, though!

I wanted so badly for these to work out. I tried them on in a store and loved them but went to Zappos to look at color options. I loved the leather look and purchased, but it is so incredibly stiff it makes the shoe uncomfortable. It might stretch and soften over time, but at $125 it’s an expensive risk to take. I may try a different color/material in the future.

The Mayari are very cute and feminine. I loved the silver for summer and the fact that they will match everything. Unfortunately, this style does not fit my wide feet. They are definitely more narrow than other Birkenstock styles like Arizona and Florida. They will need to go back. Size charts are inaccurate. I usually wear a 7.5 in most shoes but wear a 36 in Birkenstocks. At least my old Florida ones that fit are a 36.
