They really aren't white but a grey......not what I was looking for.

This is my first pair of Birkenstocks. When they arrived I tried them on and was disappointed that they ran bigger a size bigger. Even though they will be returned for the next smaller size it is definitely not a deal breaker. The comfort is there and the casual style that I was looking for meets my expectations! Love the look and color of this sandal! Perfect for every day and a variety of outfits!

I wanted these to work but the strap around my toe hurt as did the top strap. I have owned many birkenstocks and never had a problem but these hurt.

I really wanted to like these. I had a pair many years ago, and liked them at the time - as a matter of fact, I wore them out.. I really wanted a sandal that I could slide my foot into, and yet have my heel supported. I have had issues with other sandals (slip-on) where my heel slid. I even fractured a small bone once due to this happening. I normally wear 8.5 M in sandals, but took the advice of Birkenstock and ordered their narrow width size 39. They fit fine once I was able to adjust the buckles. But, the strap over the arch pressed into the bone on the side of my foot, making it very uncomfortable to walk. So, sadly, I returned them.

I am a size 5.5 so I ordered size 5-5.5 and it was still too big. It was pretty comfy though walking around at home. Unfortunately it’s going back, may have to try the next size down.

Sadly had to return because my feet were almost hanging over the edge on the sides but they fit in the length- and my feet really aren't very wide. They fit narrower than the Arizona style.

Ordered Antique Lace. I wear an 8.5, and ordered a 39 by the site's recommendation. It was way to big and even a little wide on my wide foot. I also could not tell from the picture that they would be shimmering. I re-ordered in a 38 narrow, but that was too narrow. I re-ordered again in a 38 in a different color, toffee Birko-flor, that did not appear to be shimmery, but it was also shimmery. I've decided to try the Yara, and I really hope it does not have a shimmer finish.

They sure are pretty. I got the blue ones but overall they are just okay. I honestly don't think worth the price though. My first Birkenstock and quite honestly not all that they are hyped up to be. I have a similar pair that are cork bottom and much more comfortable. I doubt I will purchase another Birkenstock. They are a tad to big and wider than expected. I don't mind the wider part. For $100 pair of sandals, I was hoping for much more comfort than they are. I can't justify getting another pair for that price.

Size chart is way off. A 37 is more like a US size 8, not 6-6.5.

Love these. However, mine were clearly defective. I ordered the tobacco color. The strap around the toe was the correct tobacco color, but the remaining straps were the dark brown havana color. I would have kept them if they were the correct color and I was nervous to reorder.

My item wasn’t as pictured. I wanted the worn leathery look that the pictures depict. Instead I received a light sand color. Was going to return them but when I researched, I couldn’t find any color that actually looked like the picture. That is my only disappointment. Shoes feel great and met all other expectations. Would just have preferred as pictured.

I wanted to love these - cute, feminine style...but really find that I prefer the soft bed Birks more. Typically wear a 39 in the soft bed styles but this one felt a tad bit short - my third and fourth toes were rubbing up against the front rim of the shoe bed.

I'm a true 7 and ordered a 7; the fit was perfect. I am so disappointed that I have to return these shoes. I love the style and the color, but ouch. I've read so many reviews that say you need to break in Birkenstocks, and I was willing to put in the time, but the left upper metal buckle cut right into my toe -- and no amount of breaking in will fix that. So they are reluctantly going back, and I will try another style. So many people who suffer from plantar fasciitis, which I recently developed/treated, recommend them that I am determined to try again.

In my quest to find amazing arch support, I thought I’d try this shoe. I couldn’t wear them for more than a second - way too much going on in the footbed. Arch support would have sufficed but there’s a ‘lump’ under the middle of the foot, just below the ball of my feet that was like walking with a ball under my foot. Maybe my arches are just too high to wear Birkenstock. It was a nice looking sandal.

Not soft. Would require break in of straps. Like the suede ones better.

I ordered the Mayaris in a size 41 -- the size Zappos' algorithm recommended for me -- and they were too short. (Zappos doesn't know I have a Roman toe and a long third toe as well). I should have listened to my gut instead of the algorithm. I found them flimsy and less substantial than most Birkenstocks, so I won't be reordering in the next size up.

Ordered a pair for myself for my 17-year-old daughter she loves hers but I’m still trying to decide if I want to keep mine. it’s not the arch support or comfort level I was expecting from Birkenstock

I like the overall support and style of these shoes. I ordered my regular size (39) and my third and fourth toes rubbed uncomfortably against the wall at the top of the sandal. This was true one size up (40) as well, although the 40 slipped more on my heels. I agree with another reviewer who found different fit/comfort with the straps on each pair within the same size range, as I tried on a couple colors in each size. I don't think I have unusually long toes, but could not find a good fit with this shoe!

These Birkenstocks felt narrow on both my feet. The footbed was very uncomfortable. I am sending these back.

I normally wear a 6W or 6WW. These only came in regular or narrow. I ordered the 6 regular. These sandals ended up being narrow for my feet. The footbed was very uncomfortable and hard. I have very high insteps, high arches and wide feet. These sandals did not work for me.

I found the little loop on the big toe to be quite uncomfortable so I returned them.

I am unfortunately having to return these. I love them and wish they fit better. I am used to the Arizona regular width which feels much wider than these. These were too narrow and I knew they would be a problem. Otherwise super cute, bummed they didn’t work out

I consistently wear a 7.5 medium. I ordered both a wide and narrow to try--first time considering Birkenstocks. The difference is so minimal, but I ended up keeping the narrow even though the ball of my right foot ever so slightly overhangs the foot bed (left is perfect). The reason being is they look like a houseboat in the medium width! If this was the only way they came, I'd say NO WAY AM I WEARING THESE THINGS! Pretty comfortable but thinking they need a bit of a break in period to become the clouds other reviewers claim them to be. They're actually quite feminine and tasteful in the narrow, and I love them in the mocha color. That's another thing . . . normally leather is the only way I go, but this BirkaFlo stuff looks very nice--for $100 I don't think you'll be dissappointed.

Very difficult to break in and continue wearing.

I loved the look of the sandal, but certain pieces of the leather were stiffer and rougher than others. The left sandal toe pieces in particular were very rough and uncomfortable. Sadly, they had to go back.
