One word as always when we are talking about Birkenstock: Awesome! Great quality and fit and the simple look is even elegant on the foot and so comfortable! I normally wear 8½ Medium in Birkenstocks I get N38.

Extra comfortable for my wide forefoot and narrow heel. Nice style for a casual sandal.

Awaiting my smaller size-these ran larger than the sizes listed by Birkenstock shoes. Very comfortable and look nice on my feet--not overly chunky like a lot of Birk styles. Love that it comes in narrow too, and the Onyx color is a hip alternative to black or brown.

I've worn Birkenstocks many years and had forgotten how stiff they are right out of the box. But it's all good. I'll wear these with everything, be comfortable and look cute.

This is my absolute favorite style of Birkenstock shoes ever! Florida used to be, but this style is way more feminine. I own these in spring green, silver, camelia rose, black patent and golden brown. I think all of the colors online are shown true to the actual color. Camelia rose and spring green do have a pearlesque look to them which I love! So many of the Birkenstock styles are no longer being made in the regular width so I am thrilled that this style still is! Many of us can not wear the narrow width and don't want to be forced to wear the Arizona style just to get a wider width. I love all the colors this style comes in and hope to see more soon! I would love to see plum or yellow or a cute floral print! I have been wearing strictly Birkenstocks for almost 20 years and I think this style has been the easiest to "wear in." Also, I get compliments all the time and people asking "Where did you find such cute Birkenstock shoes because Birkenstock shoes do tend to run large, in other shoes I need an 8-8 1/2 and I wear a 38 reg. in Birks. If you are considering ordering these don't hesitate, they're cute and comfortable and ordering from Zappos is absolutely the best!

Excellent shoe. So great to find Birkenstock shoes in Narrows. Fit is great at a 39 narrow for 8.5 size.

Excellent sandal with wonderful support. The adjustable straps give a custom fit. I found these to be true to size, with my 6B US size translating perfectly to the 37N as Birkenstock suggests. I've worn these to work, walking all day on a tile-on-concrete floor, and the sandals are great - awesome support, especially for my high arches. And, they're cute!

I took the advice of the other reviewers and ordered on the small side and narrow, and they fit like a glove. These shoes are comfortable and exceptionally good looking. I've always worn cheap versions of this style, and didn't know what I was missing. Great pair of go-to sandals.

I bought these for an upcoming vacation, so I have not worn them much yet. But, being Birkenstocks, I anticipate a long, comfortable relationship. I think this version is sleek and stylish, and I love the silver color. Kind of a non-neutral neutral.

Love this sandal!! Comfy and cute, can be dressed up (to a point) and dressed down. I was glad that the "gold" color was subtle and not in-your-face gold and sparkles. I wear them all summer long!

Let me start by saying that I never imagined that I would ever own a pair of Birkenstock shoes. I was looking for the perfect sandal to wear on my 3 week trip to India. I bought these for unknown reasons, and have discovered the most comfortable sandal ever made. Yes, I still think they are ugly, but they are growing on me because of the comfort they provide. No breaking in time is required. I have never regretted my decision to buy these once I tried them on.

These shoes are so comfortable. With the toe strap instead of a hard plastic thong, it doesn't hurt the toes at all. I wore them for a longish walk in San Francisco and my feet were fine. My trip got extended and I wore them almost exclusively for 2 weeks without a problem. I have a lot of foot problems and finding a shoe like this makes me and my feet very happy. I have many other Birks, and they don't cut it like these do. Only problem is that they keep stretching. I've tightened them 3 times in 2 months and I think I need to again. Maybe it's the Birkiflor. If I see them in leather I'll try them. Also, everybody says they're very cute, that they don't look like Birks. And it's true. They're cuter on than in the picture.

I really like these Birks. This is the 2nd pair I\'ve bought in this style. Look nice on, not the typical bulk of other Birks.

I have four pairs of these shoes. For someone who cares about fashion and comfort they are perfect. I also am able to get them in a narrow.

I absolutely love these Birkenstocks and so I have given them five stars! The narrow width is much less bulky, yet they are sturdy and supportive. This is a big improvement on an old favorite!

I love these Birks. They are just as comfortable as I expect, but look very dressy with the patent leather and thin straps. Much less "hippy" than my other Birkenstocks. I get compliments every time I wear these.

These are the best sandals I've ever worn - way better than the custom orthotic sandals I bought a long time ago. They're comfortable right out of the box. I had no break-in period as others did. They feel like they were made for my feet. My feet are a little wider than average, and the fact that these have two adjustable straps work well. I was hesitant to wear sandals without a strap across my heel, but these are fine. I am now a Birkenstock convert!

Last summer I bought the white leather Mayari and loved them. They're a little dressier than the average Birkie, and look great with jeans as well as skirts. Since I didn't want patent leather I passed on buying another pair. This year when the black leather became available I jumped at the chance. I've been wearing Birkies off and on for a few years and they've never let me down. The arch support is great for high arches like mine, and if you're used to the fit, they take little breaking in. The price always makes me a little apprehensive, but they last for years with just a little care. It's easy to keep the cork looking good with cork sealer, and if you want, the shoe can be resoled (though I never have). I only wish Birkies made more closed shoes, because in my climate (rainy PNW) it's difficult to wear sandals all year round. I would recommend these sandals to anyone.

This is the perfect replacement for my six year old Florida sandal! The buckles allow adjustment for my wide forefoot and my high instep! The style is a little sleeker than most Birki sandals and the color, Onyx, is a actually a dark pewter with a little shimmer, not a flat gray.

Very nice look and feel. It's hard to see it in the photos, but this is black patent leather. It looks great. The Birkenstocks really help my plantar fasciitis. I also really love Zappos. I first ordered size 39, as I typically take a true size 8, however, it was too big. I was able to send back, and get size 38, with no shipping charges/problems. Thanks Zappos and Birkenstock!

These sandals were comfortable out of the box. I stand in them all day at work and my feet never hurt or feel uncomfortable. If you prefer the look of leather Birks but want to save and get birko-flor material, the golden color looks and feels much like a leather. The other birko-flor colors were too plastic-y for my taste. Definitely worth the investment.

My favorite Birkies. True to fit and stay on your feet comfortably. These sandals look great with summer casual skirts and capris.

I recently had a flare-up of plantar fasciitis, with a new wrinkle, concurrent pain in the first metatarsal joint of the second toe. This time I followed advice from a friend who is a therapist and bought Birkenstock. The toe bar is especially helpful for the kind of pain I'm experiencing this time. I have Birkenstock Arizonas and Bostons that I wear at home and two pairs of Mayari sandals for work. For daily activities, they give me total pain relief. I gave away 4 garbage bags of shoes, so I won't be tempted to wear "cute" shoes! The Mayaris are quite stylish with a good pedicure. I'm still looking for a fitness shoe for a walking long distances and a standing shoe for hours of cooking on slate floors.
