I noticed these at my local store the other day and I was very tempted to buy them online because of all the colors. I ended up just buying the black ones at my local store for now. I have never had birkenstocks. I like these new styles they have out. Very cute and comfortable. I ended up getting the 39. I normally wear an 8.5 in shoes women sizes. I almost went with the 38 but I noticed that as I walked my foot started to tread on the hill cup back so I went up a size. These ones are a little big so I had to tighten the straps all the way and there is a bit of room for my toes but I think I went with the right size because as the site would suggest 39 is an 8-8.5. I look forward to breaking these babies in and walking every where in them because I am an avid walker and normal sandals just don't cut it when you walk a lot.

The Zappos sizing chart lists US size 7 as European 37-38. Then on the item order screen the drop-down order size shows size 37 as 6-6.5 and size 38 as 7-7.5. So I ordered both a 37 and a 38 to see which would fit. When I received the order, the shoe boxes list size 37 as ladies size 6 and size 38 as Ladies size 7. Very confusing sizing info for us size 7 ladies! In the end, the 38 (size 7)is what fit me perfectly and I love the silver color!

This was my first pair of Birkenstock shoes but they will not be my last! I love everything about them including the fit, comfort and the look. I get compliments every time I wear them. I would highly recommend them.

This is a classy sandal, not the usual Birkenstock. I wear size 8, so ordered 38 and 39. 39 felt better under foot, but the heel was too long. I kept 38 in orange and it will be fine I am sure. Recovering from Bunion/hammertoe surgery. Plenty of room to stretch out here.

I love these shoes. I am a hair stylist and can work with out being in pain. The color is fantastic!

One of the best pairs of Birkenstocks I've ever owned. Very comfortable from the first wear, and they break in very nicely. The color is a bit darker than in the picture, but that means that you can wear them with browns or blacks. Simple styling but very different. I would buy them in every color if I could. 5 stars all around!

A "dressy" Birkenstock - how wonderful is that. Fits well, wears well - love them, buy them! I would like it if Birkenstock would make a black cork base, just to dress it up even more, but that's just me.

I love this sandal very cute and stylish. I have another pair and they were too big so if you have small feet buy a smaller size in the narrow width and they will be a perfect fit. Best sandal in the world!

Love this sandal! So cute and comfortable! I have been partial to the Gizeh, but due to some metatarsal issues related to bunions, I can no longer wear a thong-type sandal. This is a fantastic alternative! The toe strap holds my big toe in a comfortable position and actually hides my embarrassing bunions - they actually make my feet look halfway normal! The arch support is great, and as I have found to be the case with all Birks sandals, they quickly conform to your feet after a few days wear and become quite comfortable - like a glove. I can wear these with zero foot pain! This is my new favorite Birk! And as always, Zappos is the best!

Love these! They are extremely comfortable - even when wearing them for long periods of walking. I had tried some on at a local retail store, but they didn't have the color I wanted, and I found that they are larger in size than what the "US size conversions" say on this site. The size felt true to the size, but not to the "US conversion" size. I am a 37 in these (and am typically a 37), which it says fits a size 6-6.5, but I typically wear a 7-8. (women's), so keep that in mind when ordering (and I have wide-ish feet too). These are cute with jeans, skirts, shorts, whatever, so I wear them all the time, and love them!

A sophisticated color for a casual shoe, which allows for much versatility.

Another great Birkenstock sandal...fit seems to be the same as others in this line. The Onyx BirkoFlor is an attractive & versatile color, darker than as pictured (think of a graphite color and that's really more like the color & sheen). The toe ring part doesn't bother me on these, it has on other sandals (e.g. the Mephisto Helen). Excellent arch support and heel cup.

I love my Birkenstocks. They are so very comfortable and the toe strap is soft and comfortable. The black goes with everything I wear.

I love the shoe, style and normally it would be comfortable; however, I have a severe foot problem (feels like a ball in front of foot). The only thing that helps are socks with another style of Birkenstock whereby I can wear socks.

I normally wear a 7 and ordered a 37 (usual size) and it was at least two sizes too big.

The usual great fit and minimum break in time for a Birkie. The color of these is very unique- it's brown, but in the sunlight there is a slight bronzish sheen- very pretty.

Love these Birks! This is my second pair in this style. I love the smaller straps (a little more feminine), adjustable buckles, and shiny copper color. I added a layer of cork seal when I received them, just for insurance. Thanks Zappos for getting them to me so quickly!

I love these shoes! My friends had always said that Birkenstocks were great shoes but this is the first time I have ever had a pair. These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever had. I usually need to wear orthotics in my shoes, but these are so form fitting that the orthotics are not needed.

Absolutely wonderful! I've been waiting for many years for Birkenstock to make an attractive narrow shoe and the finally did it!

They are shiny, I didn't expect that. I zoomed in on the pictures, but they didn't look as shiny as they really are. Other than that, they are great. I love Birkenstock!

I needed a new pair of shoes to take to Disney World, something that would go with everything. My foot is very narrow so I always hesitate to order, but Zappos takes away all those concerns with their fast delivery and easy returns. My Birkis fit perfect and do not ever need "break-in" time! Treat yourself!

This shoe is awesome! I wear it every day! The toe straps don't hurt at all (I was worried that they would). Rest assured that you will love this shoe! Birkenstocks run large so remember that when ordering.

These are the absolute best, most comfortable Birkenstocks ever! I love the way the toe piece is made. You can't even tell you have them on. If you are the type of person that can't wear a thong (I don't have that problem), then these will work for you. I own them in the black and silver and I'm trying to get them in the blue but they are presently out of stock. Buy these, you won't regret it.

Great sandal! I wanted the Birkenstock comfort in a pretty shoe and I found it in this, which I ordered in silver and love. At first, I thought they were a little snug on the loosest setting (I have skinny but wide feet), but one wearing fixed that. I don't necessarily recommend putting them on for the first time and then walking two miles, though. For support and leg fatigue, they were superb, but the suede footbed, being new, rubbed the balls of my feet a little. No problems after that, though. I've work Birks since the mid-80s and they're just the best. Lots of compliments on these, too!

Love the shoes. They are very comfy as you would expect from Birkenstock. And I can't say enough about Zappos. I have never dealt with such a wonderful organization. They just can't be beat.
