Usually Birkenstocks will flop on my heel and so I would not buy them. But this style, with the big toe insert, is fantastic to walk in. No flopping. I thought the toe wraparound may be uncomfortable, but you don't feel it. Also, I wear a 7 in other shoes, but the Birkenstock size of 37 (for 6 6o 6.5) fits perfectly. The 38 (for 7 to 7.5) would have been too long for me. This is the perfect shoe for walking the cobblestone streets in France and Italy! Highly recommend it!

I didn't think I could wear Birks because I have a narrow foot. I usually wear Mephistos. I was pleased to find these available in narrow at Zappos! They are cute and comfortable. My son even complimented me on these shoes. I really love the steely blue metallic color. It has some pizzaz, but is still neutral enough to go with most things.

I love these shoes. I have them on now. They are super comfortable, which surprises me as I normally can't wear shoes with straps between the toes. I don't even notice! I bought the Licorice Black, size 39 and they fit perfectly and go with just about anything. I also love Zappos super fast free shipping (both ways). It takes all of the guilt out of online shopping. I love Birkenstocks and haven't bought a new pair for years until the Mayari. My old ones were just that - old with splashes of paint and the original style. I was looking for something that was an updated look and something that was nice to my arthritic toe. This pair is perfect and is now my favorite sandal!

Very nice sandal. Stylish, light and comfy. Have to return them because they cut my little toe joint but just on one foot so I know it is the foot and not the sandal. Would be a favorite if not for that. Enjoy this shoe!

Love the Mayari! Bought it in Mocha and in Black. No break-in required...comfortable for all day (8-10 hrs) wear immediately. Very feminine and one of my fav's.

I love my Blue Birkenstocks. They are really comfortable. My daughter paid a lot more for them at a local shoe store but mine were less at Zappos. I'll never buy Birkenstocks anywhere but Zappos. Thank you.

Very comfortable shoe. The red is not a true red, more of a raspberry color. The picture is a little bit deceiving.

I love these Birkenstocks. I ordered one in a 7 and one in a 8 and they both fit. I still can't decide which one fits better. Zappos had great prices and when I did an exchange they were very nice. and no shipping and handling.

I love these Birks! This is my first pair and I always thought they were ugly. I needed shoes with support as opposed to wearing flip flops all the time. I am very happy with these. True to size, stylish and comfortable.

Great fit, great color, couldn't be happier. My left foot is slightly larger than my right foot so at times finding a pair of shoes that fit is a challenge. Not with this pair. I was concerned the big toe holder might rub my toe, it does not. These sandals are very comfortable and I wore them for extended periods of time from the very beginning.

I love these shoes! I wear them every day when I walk to work. Perfect...as Birkenstock always is.

They run large. If you have short toes this style is not the best option. Did love the color and they felt great, just too large.

Great shoe that was comfortable out of the box. Sometimes a Birkenstock style will not work well with my feet, but this one is a keeper. I am a fan of toe ring sandals and this shoe is cute with everything I wear. Also, with the super hot weather we have had this summer, this sandal has been a cool and comfortable choice I have worn a lot.

I bought this sandal to replace the taborah paillio style which is no longer made in narrow. I purchased the narrow width. The fit is simailar although I had to have the straps cut and tightned to fit my narrow low arched foot. My normal shoe size is a 7 Narrow so I purchased a 37N. Birkenstocks take a while to break in, but provide excellent arch suppport and are good for your back,hips, and knees as well.

This shoe is so comfortable. I am a barely size 9 foot and the 39 fits perfectly. My foot tends toward a wide size and this shoe is just the right width. The arch support is substantial. I have a rather high arch but the high arch shoe hurt my feet. The arch support in this shoe is perfect. I wear this shoe nearly every day and have never had sore feet. I love this shoe!

These are the best. I use them at home instead of slippers. So much support as I walk around the house.

These are so comfortable right out of the box. I am living in them this summer. They provide so much foot and arch support.

Love Birkenstock's. They run wide (get the narrows if you have normal B-width feet) and a little longer than most shoes. The arches are perfect for my feet. Love the shiny lavender, too.

Love these sandals! Have several pair and they are all super comfortable right out of the box. Not sexy but if my feet aren't happy, none of me is happy! Highly recommend. Very true to size and width.

I love these. I was able to put on and wear for most of the day without any problems. I need a lower heel bed and these are wonderful. Want to purchase another pair in a different color.

This was my first pair of Birkenstocks and I'm so sad I waited so long! they are great - my favorite shoe. Love the lavender color - they go with everything and look very feminine despite the clunkiness of the Birks!

My first new Birkis in 15 years. I love the coppery finish on the soft straps! They go with anything. There was no break-in time. They were instantly comfortable. I love the styling- much sleeker than the wider strapped style that I had so long ago. I wore them today to the science museum and toured a ship, too. I had no discomfort and was easily able to climb the steep and narrow ship ladders with ease. Plus they looked fabulous.

I absolutely LOVE this shoe. I have a really hard time with shoes and this shoe is extremely comfortable and looks really great at the same time... in fact several people that I have come across have ordered them now also because they have a really good look.. They can really casual in shorts or look really nice with nice shirt and some jeans... I LOVE THEM!
