I studied lots of reviews before committing to spend a lot on 'walking' shoes so I feel I need to leave one of my own. I agree these shoes are wonderful! No break in time required, comfortable with different thicknesses of socks, totally adjustable, and easy on/off at airports. I would buy these again in a heartbeat!

Well, of course, you can't go wrong when you get a pair of these: light and comfortable, they feel like they were custom made. Definitely worth every penny.

I have this shoe in 3 colors, because I love this shoe! It is not only comfortable, but also has great arch support. It is kicky and fashion forward! I would highly recommend it.

Yay! After ordering 4 pairs of shoes in succession, in a search for just the right shoe (comfort, style, versatility), the last one was the best. It looks good enough to wear to work (medical office administrative support), but I can walk miles in it! I'll give it a workout during my vacation.

Mephisto Niro is a very comfortable all around shoe/sneaker. I ordered in a 36, I am a 5.5 in a medium to wide shoe. The Niro fit well, very flexible for lots of walking! Unfortunately I had to return as the velcro strap, around the ankle , when pulled far over stuck out on both sides. Did not cover to velcro edge, so stuck out! I deemed my foot was to small for the shoe. Size 36 is the smallest size available. So sad, as these were just what I was looking for! Thanks, Zappos, for being an exemplary company! Without you I would be barefoot!

These are the second pair I have purchased of this style! I love them! I would highly recommend them. Comfort, design, support and weight are right on target!

Best stylish trainer ever. These are so comfortable. And I think they look great with everything. (Yes, I wear them with dresses, but then maybe my style is a bit funky.) Always get compliments though. I do find them a bit wide. Have to add a little extra velcro to the strap to tighten my right shoe, but then perfection. Wear well, take a beating, always look great; my everyday shoe for years now. Can't recommend them highly enough.

This is a very comfortable shoe. I am able to wear it all day and my foot feels grea. The shoe is surprisingly light. I usually have to take a wide, the width is perfect.

This is my 3rd pair of these shoes. I really love them. They are super comfortable, and will go a lot more places than your regular tennies. They are a bit pricey but my 1st pair is now 3 years old and still going. Good quality!

I have this shoe in black and found them so comfortable. I bought this color next and I get compliments constantly. They are good for a slightly wider foot.

Awesome shoes. Wore them for 2 weeks in Austria without any problems. Easy off/on at airports. Great support & comfort. Extras plus - my favorite color. Worth the money. Zappos is the best & only place I buy shoes.

I really liked the look of this shoe. The adjustable straps are perfect for my hard to fit feet. Unfortunately, they are too small (my big toe is rubbing the tip of the shoe) so I will have to order a half size larger. Right now Zappos is out of the colors I like in the larger size. I have requested to be notified when they are available. Thank you Zappos.

This shoe was recommended by three friends who travel often. With arthritic toes, I am always looking for comfort and support. The Allrounder does it for me. I bought four pair!

I needed a good pair of shoes for a recent trip to Italy where we walked 6-8 miles per day and were on our feet from 9 in the morning until 7:30 at night. These shoes were totally amazing and my feet never felt tired or blistered, and there was no breaking in time. Fabulous shoes!

Love these shoes! I have them in black and brown. I was very excited to find them on Zappos.

I love this shoe; usually I take a wide, but this B width was okay for me. The shoe looks very nice too, so is okay with capris as well as slacks. I have difficult feet, but was able to wear these shoes for moderate walking all day with a very little break in period. I took them on vacation and alternated daily with my gym shoes and so walking was good in either pair. They were worth the money.

This shoe wears so well, one can wear it under black slacks or with capri pants. I just ordered my third pair of the black suede ones. I started wearing them due to plantar fasciitis pain and have found they are superb for walking, shopping or slushing through all the elements. I highly recommend the shoe -- so much better than a tennis shoe for me. With the adjustable velcro straps it becomes the bedroom slipper of comfort with a great fit.

I love these shoes! I have them in three colors -- beige, turquoise with pink and yellow with white. They look great with all lengths of pants and skirts. The best part is they are super comfortable and supportive. I have worn them climbing the Acropolis, the Great Wall of China, many ruins in Greece, Egypt and Turkey and walking the streets of Athens, Cairo, Istanbul and Beijing. I also wear them when I volunteer at the hospital or in a kindergarten classroom.

These shoes are great for walking, exercising, and walking in uneven terrain. The mesh sides give ample ventilation during the summer so your feet do not feel sweaty.

This is my second pair of this sneaker. Besides being extremely comfortable, it looks much more stylish with jeans than typical lace-ups. The fit is great. Above all, though, the most outstanding feature is that these shoes easily accommodate my custom orthotics. I can slip them under the removable insole and then the Niro feels especially fantastic. I also like that there's a bit of height in the heel to make me feel a little taller.

What a marvelous casual shoe! Cool and suited to so many occasions. I am thrilled with this shoe because my orthotics slip in and out as needed. Thanks to Zappos for their outstanding, speedy assistance in my purchase.

Ordered the shoe one day before a three week trip to Europe and delivered next day by Zappos (yay Zappos)! Wore the shoes every day ob vacation with no blisters, no soreness, no foot or leg fatigue. Amazing! Great buy! Worth every penny!

In 2007 I bought my first pair of the Allrounder. It went around the world with me--literally. The trip took 38 days and took me through 28,000 miles of air space. I walked around some of the world\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s greatest cities. I just bought a new pair because I looked for another shoe to do my race walking but nothing else felt as good while looking trim on my feet.

Note: I've always been a 10 US or 41 European, but for these shoes, I fit the 10US which they equate to a 40. I bought a red pair of Allrounder Niros in 2005, and shortly afterward embarked on a long trip abroad with them. They were the most versatile shoe I have ever owned. With footies they were comfy in the heat of Africa, with socks they were good in the damp muck of Scotland, and I wore them pretty much everywhere else in between. The sole has good traction and they were good for light hiking, although the shoe doesn't provide a lot of lateral stability. My old red pair is now quite beat up but I still wear them every now and again! I bought a dark blue replacement pair 2 years ago but never took to them...they looked dusty and dirty too easily. But now I just got another red pair. I hope they will be as comfy for walking as the pair I bought in 2005. I certainly found my previous Niros to be much more supportive than Clark Privos, which I wear to work but wouldn't trust for a long trip.
