I love Mephisto sneakers - they are stylish while also being super comfortable and supportive. I have pronated arches and have found that Mephisto Allrounders are the only shoes for me. I was looking for the Allrounder Navis, which has more mesh, but this doesn't seem to be available anymore. The Niro is a very good alternative, just less mesh so more 'shoe'. I'm a 9.5 in Mephisto but anywhere from 10-10.5 elsewhere but I think that really depends on the type of shoe (sneaker, etc), so I'm marking this as 'felt a half size larger'. And love Zappos' outstanding customer service and website ease!

Love these shoes! I am a 2 to 3 mile a day walker and these really work for me. I like that I can adjust the top strap as needed while I am walking.

This is the second pair of "Allrounder's" that I have had. They are the best and the quality is superior. They last a very long time. Worth every penny.

I own these shoes in four different colors! They are the perfect shoes to wear when you are going to be walking all day, with no chance to slip into a different pair of shoes. Although they are light in weight, the Niro offers excellent support. The bottom of the shoes are nice and thick, making them perfect for walking on hard city street or uneven paths (though they are not quite sturdy enough to be a true "hiking" shoe). The Velcro design makes them easy to get on & off. I have one bright yellow pair that I have dedicated as "treadmill shoes" I wear them every morning, and they get me going with a spring in my step! My dark brown ones are great for rainy days (I have waterproofed them with Kiwi spray) because they have such great bottom traction, I am not afraid of slipping. These are extremely casual shoes, so I mostly wear them with jeans; they take the place of lace-up sneakers. Because I have a bone spur on the top of my foot, I find mary janes more comfortable than lace-up shoes. If you are looking for an alternative to sneakers, you cannot do better than these!

My daughter walks 1.5 miles to/from work every day. She loves these shoes so much that I got a second pair in a different color.

Like them a lot. Bought them for upcoming Europe trip where I'll be walking more than usual. I have MS with fatigue, balance and some toe spasticity issues. Yet, I find that I am wearing them almost everywhere, even to work if 'business' dress is not an absolute. The extra toe space is great for me and the back strap provides security/stability. The arch support is okay, but not the best. I just bought an orthotic at the drugstore that is helping with arch support.

Love these shoes!!! This is my fourth pair. The mesh makes the shoes really breathable, and the closed heel and removable insert allows me to put in my orthotics. I broke my ankle very badly many year ago, and I can't wear regular sandals because of the lack of support. If you want a cute, very well made, casual summer shoe, this is the answer!

Very comfortable shoes! Love the color too. Bought another pair in a different color, yellow. Great for spring and summer.

After foot surgery, I am hard to fit and ended up ordering 4 pairs until I finally found the fit I needed, with no pain! My right foot is 9 1/2 and my left foot is 10 /2 due to surgery and inserted pin. Plus I am AA in width. These shoes are great for getting the right fit because you can adjust tightness across the foot and at the heel with velcro. Heads-up on meshes in this style: the kind of mesh makes a difference in fit. Love the AllRounder Niro dark blue suede/mesh. Not so fond of the D Mesh that the Cloudburst Suede has (way looser).

I really liked the look of these shoes, and I thought they would be perfect for summer. But when I put them on, they were too narrow. I have found Mephisto shoes to run narrow in the past but I thought these would be different as some people mentioned that they ran a little wider than normal. But no, not for me. The toe area was too narrow and I had to send them back, very unfortunate for me because I really liked them and wanted to keep them. I did find the arch support was a little lacking as well. For Mephisto, they didn't seem as strong a shoe as I have heard they are supposed to be, but I still liked them and would have kept them had they fit. Oh well, I am still in search of a shoe for summer!

I love them! This is my second pair...they fit my WW feet. Need I say more? They are very comfortable, I walk in them all day no problem. :-)

This is my third pair of the Mephisto Alrounder. Although they run about a half size larger than what I normally buy, they fit well, are comfortable, and supportive. Great walking shoe for those situations when you want something better looking than a tennis/exercise shoe.

This is the second pair I have bought. The first pair I wore for four years. They are very comfortable and they have a cute style. When I wear them people often asked me what brand they are. I like the ball in the heel.

This is my second pair of Allrounders. They are the most comfortable, yet nice looking, pair of shoes. I can walk in them all day. I have lighter colored suede, and finally decided to go with black so they wouldn't look as dirty.

I can't say enough good things about this shoe. Adjustable strap, adjustable heel, waterproof, gripping sole. Wearing them now on my walking trip in England.

Let's get the obvious out of the way first - this shoe won't win any beauty contests but if you are looking for a great walking shoe, they are extraordinary. I ordered these in a 10 medium, and with a thin athletic sock, they are a perfect fit. Wore them constantly on a recent trip to France and walked 5-6 miles per day on all kinds of terrain. No matter what the weather, or the surface (uneven cobblestones, wet/slick trails) the shoes were rock solid and so comfortable. My feet never felt tired, even when the rest of my body was exhausted. No blisters, no issues, just cool, extremely comfy, supportive shoes. Although they are pricey, they were worth every penny. One minor cosmetic problem (besides the lack of overall aesthetics in the shoe's appearance) is that I got them in the blue suede/canvas combo and the suede got "spotty" from the rain. I think a suede brush will handle this. If you have a trip where you'll be doing lots of walking or if you are on your feet all day, these shoes are worth it - you won't be disappointed.

Wear a 9. Ordered the 40 which is a 9 1/2 thinking I'd need the space for a sock, but it was way too baggy and long. Ordered the 39 which is perfect and doesn't crowd my toes at all at the end. Very comfortable. Like the removable insole and may add a tiny bit more arch support. Kept the navy even though it's a little baggy at the sides between your two feet (to the side of the arch). Would have kept the black as well except for the baggy area plus the navy were pretty hot on a 70 degree day. Will have to wear a sock for some ventilation. Great for winter; not so great for summer without socks. Intended to use this for walking but may need to rethink that and use something with a little more support. Good for walks around town, shopping, etc but not for 2-3 mile walks.

I usually wear a 9. Ordered the 40 because the Julie sandal in a 39 had been too short (heel hung over the back when walking). Niro 40 was too big. Ordered 2 pairs, black and blue, in a 39 hoping they would fit. Perfect! So comfortable for leisurely walking. Would love to see muted colors in a similar style like burgundy, olive, gold, old rose, deep turquoise, etc. Love you, Zappos.

Zappos' great service and return policy is what has inspired me to purchase so many pairs of shoes recently. I have avoided the shoe shopping process in stores because there was such a limited selection or they were out of my size. I love Zappos' return policy and the helpful review process. Hope the manufacturers read these reviews! Because of guidance from reviews, I finally got brave enough to order several styles and sizes until I found brands, styles, and a fit and comfort level that works for me. I don't know how they do it, but cheers for Zappos and their wonderful employees! Finally! My shoe shelves have many new great fitting, super cute pairs of shoes...all from Zappos. I wear a 9 but ordered a 40 in the Niro because the Julie sandal ran a tad short in a 39 (heel hung over). The Niro 40 (9 1/2) was too big, so I crossed my fingers with hope and ordered the 39. Perfect Mephisto fit and comfort! Great for walks around the lake with my new puppy. Wish more colors were available in my size. Love you, Zappos!

I use these shoes for going back and forth to the club to swim. Easy to take on and off but good support.

This is the fourth pair of Allrounders I have bought. They are extraordinarily comfortable and look great. They have a very long wear life (you can even throw them in the wash and they still look great). Oh, and buy them from Zappos! You can't beat the prices and service.

I have been wearing these Allrounders by Mephisto for working out for years. I hope they never go out of existence! They are so much more attractive than the dull cross-trainers and the like and can also be worn as regular shoes with or without socks. Good for walking as well.
